my question precisely is: what you mean by keywords with 500 results... do you mean, the topics (niche). for example typing Fitness and then it pops out 500 results is that what you mean? I thought that the more the numbers of results... 10k above you get more exposure to make more sales ...?

You are losing money by making your table of contents clickable especially if you are in kdp select, I removed all the clickable table content from my Kindle book and my Kemp read tripled because if your table of content is clickable customers can go to the exact page they want and will count as 1 Kemp read but without it they will scroll to the place and if the place they want is on page 50 you will have 50 Kemp read

you are mistakenly wrong. i put table of content clickable and add a link to the last page. i label the link free bonus .
when you click on the link which should be in page 5. it will lead you to the bonus page on page 167. that's a clean 167 kenp FYI.
thanks . i know becos the book will show the keep read boost. i then link back from page 167 to page 5 . using the word return to previous page.

How important is a clickable Table of Content in KDP publishing?

I write my books on my phone as its more convenient for me (I can write on the go) , then do my TOC on a system before uploading via my phone.

My laptop got spoilt and I'm yet to collect it from the repairer. I've written three books that are just laying there and I'm thinking of publishing them without making the TOC clickable, but wonder if this will negatively impact my sales.

Has anyone tried publishing this way?

TOC is important because of the kindle version. People skim through your book faster with them.
Paperback doesn't have to be clickable.

I'm sorry becos you want to give up. making only 30$ is not poor as you think. back in the days of blogging, I made 30$ in two years after spending so much on hosting. i spent more than 30$ when I ventured into domain names. all other online biz (minus freelance writing) took out of my pocket.

kdp put cash into my pocket.

i notice that many starters are satisfied. they throw 5 books and relax.

i know writing isn't easy. its not easy to write. that's why I gave low content some gap.

and don't ever do any low content again without running ads.

i am focussed on my writing this year.
corona virus affected me too.
bad review affected me too.
should I stop writing... never never .
God is alive.

i pray daily and see all my niche topics.
i am determined to be successful.

The money is so small that I can't even withdraw it but I'm motivated please i really need help from those of you who are making a killing in Kindle publishing. There is no app to monitor rate. The best thing to do is to act as if u want to withdraw. The rate will show. But do not authenticate the withdrawal.

Todays rate is 380. However i can buy your payoneer fund for 390/$.

Now lets do simple math. Smart freelancers sell to exchangers, smart freelancers dont withdraw to bank.




Ceritus paribus. All things being equal. Lets assume you have $100 in your payoneer. And u want to sell. But u dont know weda u should withdraw to bank or sell to exchanger.




Selling to exchanger analysis.
1. Exchanger pays you instantly they receive your fund.
2. Exchangers like me pays 390 for bit and 395 for bulk. Either ways you are getting about 39500 or 39000.




Withdrawing to bank analysis.
1. It takes 7hours or more to receive your money, not a good option for someone who needs cash urgently.
2. Withdrawal to bank kills account faster.
3. Bank pays 381 to 385 per dollar thats after payoneer has deducted thier 2% withdrawal fee.

So have in mind that when withdrawing, your $100 will become $98 because payoneer has taken 2% of your $100.

So las las what will enter your account is ($98×380 or $98×385)



So which one is better, selling to exchnager at 100x390 or 100x395

Or

Withdrawing at 98×380 or 98x385


Be wise.
