note that ebay.com hates VPN. with passion. register without VPN.
i used a foreign address . you can get one from reship.com

or anywhere you like.

1. I know you hate copying numbers - yes but do this once for all. you don't own the number but it works.
2. what if they detect. -- yes I know, but you arent doing anything illegal.
3. can I use the number as my permanent number - a capital NO.

5. any other thing--- yes oo. you should finish this step first . once Gmail confirm the number text code , you're good.

if they reject the number or the code wasn't received , then visit another site. get another one.

6. use this Gmail to register on ebay.com and use a foreign address too.

get a free number by typing this in google

receive SMS online.


check the first page sites and pick any.


copy the USA number you have chosen and input it where it says phone.

when they send you the verification code.
go back to the free SMS number site and check for goggle code sent there.

if you have gotten your account set, next.

go to your Gmail account (new Gmail - you can open a new account).

and change the recovery phone to onyinbo number. we want to confirm the number with a foreign one .

google will send a code to the phone number attached. when you get the SMS, just input the code.

voila, we are through.


if you want to use old Gmail account.
go to settings

edit your profile settings. you will see all your info.
edit the phone .
add onyibo USA number there.


why are we doing this.?

you cant register on some sites without them classifying your Gmail account. they classify them based on the phone number.

so when you register on eBay, if you don't have a foreign number tied to your Gmail, sorry its naija account you have.

If you search for a keyword on Amazon and you check books in that niche. The possibility that a book published from 2019 with bad grammar and a mix of British English is owned by a Nigerian is 90%. 2019 because that was when helioshay's thread came up and more Nigerians learnt about KDP. Bad British English because that is what we use here and the only African country with interest in KDP. People have multiple accounts on kdp, upload plr and content they do not own. Join kindle WhatsApp groups and you'd know. The average oyibo publisher spends money on an editor. What that Isaac Clifford is doing is exactly what most Nigerians are doing. It's a numbers game and they keep writing and publishing. Do you need a prophet to tell you that pen name belongs to a Nigerian?

I don't know but many do.

My rule is to check their payment of royalty. Is it payoneer or PayPal or other means. Once I confirm, I usually register with a foreign address and link my account to it. I hate using Nigeria becos tomorrow they may place a hold on it.
