But the most powerful is the brain.

I use my brain.
For example
Someone posted a keyword here potato diet.

I thought, if we have potato diet, why not apple diet? So that's how my keyword research begins.
PS. I don't use bestsellers for keywords. I thought that's what everyone does.

One word for newcomers like me:
Strategy is the best.

What is strategy? Hmm? I can't define it now. But here's an example.
How many books every month
What's your goal?
EBook sales?
Kenp reads?
Paperbacks?

Again there are more strategy I will share with mentees and those I tutor.

How many words per book

it depends on the
1.niche
2. The strategy

If its a story book , well formated , it can be anywhere between 500- 2000 words.

If its a diet book,
Anywhere between 8000 words and above. I mix things up.

As we round off this month. Sales have been consistent.
My writing goals weren't met. But I'm glad my new book which is 30 days old made 11 sales.
Well its not the only book but since I started June. I'm happy.
I have another strategy I will share here later after testing it. Stay tuned.

Don't give up if you have written a book and it fell short. I remember a story book I wrote months back. All other books have recorded sales but this one made nothing. I checked , changed a lot of things and still nothing.
I got tired and left it.

After two months of no sales. I decided to change only the category.
Then the first sale came. Then another then another. This books don't sell that much but seeing a sale from it every month is cool. I thought it has lost out. But alas I was wrong. It is the very last of my books in terms of sales but I don't complain.

One sal e is better than nothing.
We sometimes have winners and losers.
It happens in books too

Books by browsing categories. I've sold some copies this way . purely because they were in a category people browsed saw it and bought

his plan was to raise income gradually in real estate until he could buy a beach resort. this was what rich dad taught him. if you wrote your first book and no sales , you will feel discouraged .
keep learning.

its gradual and you need a strategy. I have done blogging so the tricks helps me rank my books and get sales within a week of publishing

So many people cannot take any step. Despite all advise given here and on other threads.

2. Never depend on a single book. I don't wanna know if its 200$ you paid or zero to write it. Do all you can but don't depend on it. Have several books.

3. Keep writing with a strategy. When I restarted June this year. I was only focussed on sales . eBook sales.
Now I have another strategy.

Kenp reads profit. I hope it works. But the results are tempting.
