Politics / That Dance Of Shame @ Vinmartin Ilo’s Signature TV By Ben Nwoye And Joe Mmamel – by Elishu2021: 1:41pm On Dec 16, 2021
That Dance of Shame @ VinMartin Ilo’s Signature TV by Ben Nwoye and Joe Mmamel – Enugu APC

THE All Progressives Congress (APC), Enugu state chapter has pooh-poohed the recent arrangee interview in a private online television production named Signature Tv floated by Mr. VinMartin Ilo and being used as a platform to fight his dirty political battle in Enugu state.

Reacting to the recent interview aired in the Signature Tv where the former Chairman of the APC, Ben Nwoye and one Joe Mmamel featured in a mumbo jumbo macabre dance, the State Publicity Secretary of APC, Charles Solo Ako called on the general public to discountenance the caricature show meant to entertain them.

Ako said that Nwoye and Mmamel, who were agents of some misguided political chieftains, who lost out in the power game regarding the emergence of The Hon. Barr. Ugochukwu Agballah, as the State Chairman of APC.

The APC spokesperson said at the beginning of the interview it was obvious that Nwoye and Mmamel are two strange bed fellows and they engaged in confusing, counter-productive and self-annihilation polemics until they were cued by an unseen mastermind of the programme, to focus their attacks on Ugochukwu Agballah, the only area they can find misguided common ground.

Ako dismissed the entire episode as a sham even as he posed several questions that Nwoye, Mmamel and their sponsors need to provide answers to in order to make some modicum of sense.

See details of the reaction…..

*THE REACTION OF APC ENUGU STATE ON THE SIGNATURE TV INTERVIEW WITH DR BEN NWOYE AND OZO JOE MMAMEL ON THE 12TH DECEMBER 2021. APC/ENS/12/15/01.*

I am shocked viewing the above titled interview where two chieftains of our great party – gentlemen of repute were guests and instead of concentrating on issue based discuss, which supposedly should be the concern and anticipation of any committed member of APC especially when the Local Government election is barely two months away, they choose to deal on attacking personalities and making caricature of such laudable platform.

Our great party is saddened that after a 50 minutes interview where these two chieftains of the APC – Dr Ben Nwoye and Ozo Joe Mmamel were interviewed, there was no single emphasis on the fortunes of the state in respect to any interrogation on the policies of the present PDP Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi led government in Enugu State.

Any critical minded APC person should always have the fortunes, especially the electoral fortunes of the Party in mind and should at every public opportunity present the Party to the public in a manner that will be of benefit to the Party. Notwithstanding the challenges the Party may have, and we do acknowledge that there are issues of concern, the fortunes of the Party as a whole should be paramount and ought to be promoted at every opportunity. But, whenever and wherever these expectations doesn’t come from supposedly “Chieftain(s) of our Party” the claims of being committed member(s) of APC becomes questionable and suspicious.

The two respected gentlemen predicated their discussion on two major planks of argument. One, on which both of them seemed to agree, was that the candidature of Chief Ugochukwu Agballah was flawed by virtue of not being registered by Dr Ben Nwoye as a member of the Party. The second point was that he was not the true consensus candidate produced or agreed on by the Enugu West stakeholders. There is really nothing more they said and I will address these two issues straightaway.

The issue of Party membership registration is clear and unambiguous. The APC membership registration is done at the ward level and has nothing whatsoever to do with the state executive. No one is registered at a local government level neither could you register at the state level. The state functionaries may therefore not be privy to the decision of anyone who wants to join a political party. Curiously however, in this case the respected Dr Ben Nwoye clearly stated that Chief Ugochukwu Agballah "indicated interest" in joining the Party in July. But he did not tell us what he, Dr Nwoye, then did to that indication of interest. Did he reject the offer? Did he reply, "No Sir, you can no longer join us for we have closed the revalidation and re-registration exercise"? Perhaps he told the then intending entrant, a former Commissioner of Works, a former gubernatorial candidate, a political "big fish", "Please come back next year".

What exactly did he tell Chief Ugochukwu Agballah in July? How can he convince anyone that he did not welcome Agballah with open arms, with heart full of joy and happiness at the joining of one more person to his political fold? It is obviously a later day thought to say that the entry of Agballah was incomplete or inadequate. It was certainly not late. As we speak, the Party is yet welcoming members of the public and those unhappy with other parties into its fold. We recently welcomed Dr Eneh into our fold with pomp and pageantry, as we should for we are happy to have him join us. Politics is ‘nta madu’ – the fishing for men. It is a game of numbers and no political party ever closes its door to any intending member. That Chief Agballah is a late joiner or incomplete joiner is absolutely inconsequential in political assessments.

The second issue raised, perhaps more germane, is that he is not the product of consensus among the Enugu West Senatorial District leaders. The background of the zoning arrangement entered into at the state level as given by both gentlemen is essentially correct and there is no need to split hairs on minor details. The state APC did set up a 9-man committee to determine the zoning arrangement, among other responsibilities. (It was also a Reconciliation committee for there was already a need to soothe tempers and solve problems within the Party even then). The zoning arrangement have it that the post of the Chairman of our party should be left for persons from the Enugu West Senatorial District, just like it said that the gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 election should come from Enugu East Senatorial District; and that the national party positions should be ceded to Enugu North Senatorial District. That is factual. The divergence is in whether or not the emergence of Chief Agballah is consistent with, or in breach, of those provisos. The nomination of Chief Ugochukwu Agballa was perfectly in accordance with the State Zoning Committee’s recommendations. Chief Agballa is from Enugu West Senatorial District. He is not from Enugu North neither is he from Enugu East Senatorial District.

The claim of not being the consensus candidate is only half the truth and suppresses facts that will bring the proper perspective into focus. If, as claimed by the proponents, that there was a disagreement within the leadership of Enugu West Senatorial District over a consensus candidate, a position in sync with the pronouncements of all leaders of the West at the Stakeholders Forum convened to receive these consensus lists for adoption by the entire state stakeholders, all it goes to show is that there was no consensus. The choices of the two gentlemen in the Signature interview are even not the same. The seeming vacuum could only be filled by an election and on the eve of the State Congress everyone knew that there would be an election to determine who would be the Chairman of our party. There is nothing illegal or illegitimate in undergoing an election except that we should not be sore losers. The preferred candidate of Dr Ben Nwoye in person of Chief A.C Ude, emerged through an election held by Dr Nwoye. He did not emerge by any consensus even in their very own "birthday party congress arrangement".

The duo shot their arguments in the foot when they both agreed that the people sent to conduct the election did declare Chief Ugochukwu Agballah as the winner and the Chairman-elect. At this point, it is pertinent to note that APC state congress took place in Enugu state on October 16, 2021 at the Destiny Event Centre, Off Nza Street, Independence Layout, Enugu, where Chief Ugochukwu Agballah, in an open contest, overwhelmingly emerged as the Enugu State Chairman of APC, as declared by the nationally constituted seven-man congress committee led by Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu,– the people referred by the gentlemen in the interview that declared Chief Agballa as the winner. The national leadership of the party had already accepted a report of the State Congress Appeal Committee, who visited our state after the congress. The path available to them going forward is clear: appeal against the conduct of the committee either through the Appeals Committee which did come to Enugu and to which unfortunately Dr Ben Nwoye did not present any complaint having already sworn in his own executive committee members (how could he complain when he claimed to have already won?). The only remaining option is to resurrect the matter with the national Reconciliation Committee.
*Succinctly, Chief Ugochukwu Agballah is a bona fide member of the APC and he won an election. He is a product of zoning arrangement.* Electoral grievances are not new but they are not resolved by self-help. Proper procedures do exist. The interest and fortunes of the Party should remain supreme. It must come first before personal and selfish interests. Above all, it is Almighty God that gives power.

We hope that the gentlemen and any others of like minds should sheath their swords and join hands with the rest members of our Party under Chief Agballa in changing the electoral fortunes of the Party at the state and national elections. The people of Enugu State and their wellbeing should be our primary focus (and not on our personal fortunes as one of the discussants actually said), and it is our collective duty to offer an alternative government to the people of Enugu state. The new APC intends to bring in a humane, people friendly government that will chart a new way of doing things. We shall be knowledge based, reducing the paraphernalia of government to the barest minimum unlike the present PDP led government that has over 500 SAs and SSAs, many without portfolio; bring back orderliness in governance and bring development and economic prosperity to our people.

Let us channel our energies to this New Dawn APC where all are equal, irrespective of differential dates of membership registration; where the focus is majorly on effectiveness, capacity, equity and integrity. Let’s be civil and jettison name-calling, use of fowl languages and hate speech. However the randomly use of the words interloper and impostor in their interview are hate speech, unethical and condemnable. Our party will not tolerate such idiosyncrasy because we are not in a Banana Island. Civility is a choice but the arm of the law will not spare you when you make its opposite your norm.

Politics / Apc: Why The Scourge Of Baywood-ibe, Adolphus Ude, Ben Nwoye And Others Should B by Elishu2021: 1:09am On Dec 16, 2021
APC: WHY THE SCOURGE OF BAYWOOD-IBE, ADOLPHUS UDE, BEN NWOYE AND OTHERS SHOULD BE IGNORED BY THE PUBLIC.

Barr. Emeka Okwo

As a major stakeholder in APC and one who was sold out by the shameless fifth columnist saboteurs I deem it necessary to educate and inform our teeming members and the general public on why they should ignore the antics and social media noise of self-styled ‘leader and financier’ of APC in Enugu State, Emperor Baywood-Ibe and his co-trevelers, including former state chairman of APC, Ben Nwoye, and his former Deputy, Adolphus Ude.

The social media has been awash with the news report of a meeting of some people purporting to be APC members who purportedly met at the behest of Baywood-Ibe. They purportedly demanded for recognition of Adolphus Ude as the state chairman of APC in Enugu State among other bogus claims including that the position was zoned to Greater Awgu (made up of Awgu, Aninri and Oji River LGAs).

This is indeed laughable.

Of course there was no such meeting at Emperor Baywood Ibe’s community residence in the first place as our investigation revealed that the media report was a sponsored press release written by hirelings of Mr Emperor Ibe. Understandably, the media release was part of a grand design sponsored by Mr Ibe to create confusion in the party, having seen that his plot to foist a puppet chairman in the person of Ude had failed woefully. Baywood-Ibe and his co-travelers should be told that they are chasing shadows, as their well known mercantile political gimmicks has been busted.

For the records, APC state congress took place in Enugu state on October 16, 2021 at the Destiny Event Centre, Off Nza Street, Independence Layout, Enugu, where The Hon Barr. Ugochukwu H Agballah, in an open contest, overwhelmingly emerged as the Enugu state chairman of APC, as declared by the seven-man congress committee led by Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, a committee properly constituted and accredited by the national leadership of the party. A report of the Congress Appeal Committee, who visited the state after the congress, had already been accepted by the national leadership of the party.

It is also noteworthy to state that the allegation that the Hon Barr, Agballah is not a member of APC, is not only false, but baseless and frivolous.

It was the former chairman of the party, Nwoye who received Agballah into the party secretariat at a much publicized stakeholders meeting where he said publicly that his annoyance was that Sen Ken Nnamani, the National Vice Chairman and Geoffrey Onyeama, the Minister of Foreign Affairs took a picture with Agballah at Abuja when they welcomed him into the party. Nwoye was therefore only angry that he was not given the opportunity of first doing a photo-up with Agballah, a big fish by all standards.

In APC, party registration is done at the ward level. Agballah’s ward chairman had stated at same function that Agballah had earlier registered with them at Udi ward during registration of members. All that happened before Nwoye was expelled from the party by members of his own executive led by his erstwhile deputy Hon Chikwado Chukwunta. An expulsion which was ratified by the whole LGAs and stakeholders and the national executive.

It is therefore crystal clear that Mr Baywood Ibe and his co-travelers are plying their well known professional practice of obtaining under false pretenses aka 419 in carrying out their political objectives :
A situation where a man, who randomly claims on media to have led the party in an election in which the party ended up not having agents anywhere in Enugu State and the party failed woefully garnering a paltry and disgraceful two percent of total votes cast yet he nominated his younger brother and personal aide Mr Ugonna Ibe into the cabinet of the state government as commissioner for Tourism.
This is part of the reasons the national executive of the APC decided to excise Mr Ibe and his co-travelers out of the power equations of the APC because they have been identified as moles in Enugu State APC.

Mr Emperor Ibe is a well known shameless agent of the PDP the ruling party in Enugu State aside from being a political contractor, who is not interested in the APC winning elections in Enugu state. His brother, Ugonna Ibe is the current Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Enugu state after serving as the Chairman of Awgu local government area, a reward to Baywood Ibe for serving as agent of destabilization of APC while at the same time masquerading as leader and APC financier in the state.
APC members in the state are still living with the bitter experience and scam of the highest order meted on the party by Mr Emperor Ibe during the 2019 general elections when he boasted openly and told party members that he would fund the party campaigns including the guber campaign in the state but at the end of the day, the party, especially the guber candidate of the party during the 2019 elections, Sen Ayogu Ezeh still have bitter stories to tell about the political perfidy and horse-trading and sharp practices perpetrated by Mr Ibe which led to the party scoring only two percent of votes in the general elections.

One clear example was how Mr Emperor Ibe publicly donated fairly used Toyota Sienna vehicles to Ayogu Eze for his governorship campaign but only for the car dealers to arrive Enugu two weeks later to impound the vehicles and take them back to Lagos for breach of contract to pay for the vehicles. Mr Ibe puts himself up as a billionaire and was arrogantly and boastfully scaring off other financiers of the party claiming he had billions to spend in the governorship election. At the end he crashed Sen Ayogu’s gubernatorial campaign and did not contribute one dime to Sen Ayogu’s governorship campaign.

Ayogu Eze who is yet to recover from the world class deception is alive and can tell the story better.

Furthermore, Ibe’s house was turned into clearing house of PDP campaign activities including distribution of money to PDP candidates and agents on the night preceding the 2019 general elections. The former Vice Chairman of APC South East Chief Emma Eneukwu and Chief Geoffrey Onyeama were one of the first set of leaders who saw through the abracadabra but no one listened to them. Prominent leaders of APC in the state who were attending a crucial meeting of APC in Mr Emperor Ibe’s house during the run up to the elections and who witnessed the distribution of money sent by PDP to PDP members to their chagrin are living witnesses to this bizarre action. Mr Ibe reportedly told the astounded party members that he was in charge of PDP in Awgu local government area as well.

And even after the general elections, somebody who was supposed to be the leader of opposition went ahead to nominate his younger brother, Ugonna, who works for him, as Commissioner in the PDP-led state government. The same man is still going around shamelessly pretending to be leader of APC in the state.
These and other reasons made genuine APC leaders in Enugu state to sideline Baywood Ibe as they see him as an unrepentant and shameless mole and fraudulent political contractor. And as a result he was completely sidelined from the party activities; hence he did not participate in the ward, local government and state congresses of the party.
Even when Mr Emperor Ibe was invited by Imo State Governor, Sen Hope Uzodinma, he told the bewildered governor, just like he has been telling anybody who cares to listen to his tales by moonlight, that he spent over N1.2 billion on the party in Enugu state. The former state chairman of the party, Ben Nwoye, was always around Mr Ibe each time he goes around making those bogus claims. This made APC leaders in the state to come to the sad conclusion that Mr Ben Nwoye was part and parcel of the political scam. But such tales are only an extortionist gambit. And of course he failed woefully to extort money from the Imo state governor.

This same character has started again. He has been moving around claiming that he is contesting for presidency of Nigeria.

This is another game.

It is another ploy to deceive unwary but genuine presidential hopefuls to pay him in advance for the votes of Ndi Enugu. But that entire plan has been busted by the emergence of The Hon Barr Agballah as the chairman of APC in Enugu state.

Of course he knows that Agballah is a no nonsense and serious minded political mobilizer.
And that’s why in all their public paid media/publicity activities, they keep on insulting leaders of the party instead of directing their attacks and criticisms on the PDP-led government in the state.

They have insulted and castigated every leader of APC but they have never made any statement against PDP government their pay master.

It’s on record that Baywood Ibe has never said anything against PDP government; the same with Nwoye and his erstwhile deputy AC Udeh who rather makes statements inimical to the party in the state and zone in general. Nwoye is the only APC chairman in Nigeria who came out to tell the whole world (and its published in national papers) that it’s impossible to sell APC in South East! All Nwoye had done was to attack leading members of the party, including Foreign Affairs Minister, Geoffrey Onyeama and former Senate President, Ken Nnamani.

Today, Ibe and his co-travelers, including his hireling, Adolphus Ude have turned against the new Chairman of the party, Barr. Ugochukwu Agballah elected during the duly conducted state congress of the party.

They have continued their stock in trade, as they went ahead to conduct their own state congress, which the national leadership of the party did not and will never recognize.
The same man, as part of his shadow boxing and destabilization efforts, is sponsoring a court case against the party in Abuja, using one Kingsley Uduji, a hiring of his. This he does in collaboration with a woman SA to the president who claims she knows her way around the judicial system and can manipulate same for their devious purpose.

Even the national executive committee of APC and the Presidency are aware of Baywood Ibe’s role as a fifth columnist and confidence trickster in the party.

That was why the national leadership of the party on its own became more interested in Enugu state and specifically insisted that Baywood Ibe and Nwoye group should not be part of the process that will bring out a new chairman in the state.

And the national leadership was involved in the search for the new chairman of the party and specifically head-hunted Ugochukwu Agballah to come and rebrand and reposition APC in Enugu state to make it viable enough to win elections.

This is the crux of the matter and the main reason why the political contractors who have been using APC structure in the state to fleece both the state government and national leadership of the party of money, political appointments, contracts and other pecuniary benefits.

It is common knowledge that as long as Mr Emperor Ibe continues to parade himself as leader of APC, APC will never win any polling booth in Enugu state. No party all over the country has ever scored two percent in any election since independence but the two percent outing in Enugu state was as a result of the activities of Mr Baywood Ibe, and their likes. They negotiated for two percent.

It is also noteworthy that more than 90 percent of those who were initially being misled by Baywood and co, having realized their mistakes, had since returned to the Agballah-led state executive of the party. The members numbering more than 300 and led by the former State Legal Adviser, Barr. B. N. Nebe and former APC chairmen of Oji River and Enugu North LGAs, Chief Benson Eze and Chief Sunday Eshiokwu respectively, recently pledged their loyalty and resolve to work with Agballah to rebuild the party in Enugu state.

The major problem of APC in Enugu state is that professional fraudsters, who have a history of 419 (advanced fee fraud) as their main business and who are ex-convicts, convicted by the United States of America (USA) and Italian Courts, and those who have had professional misconduct cases are the ones calling the shots for APC. And that is why this political trade off of using APC as an instrument of nefarious business is thriving. This people have collaterized the party in order to use it as a basis to legitimize their illicit businesses.

It is only in Nigeria and APC Enugu State in particular that a State chairman and self styled leader who could not win a single polling booth out of the 2900 polling booths in Enugu during the 2019 elections would still have the audacity and temerity to lay claims to any type of leadership in the party. In saner climes they would have honorably resigned from their positions a day after the elections. But not so with Nwoye, Ude and Ibe. Their barefaced insistence to continue making gyratic pretensions to leading the party even when the national body and presidency and regional and state leaders have excised them clinically like cancerous cells from the party shows that the trio are a bunch of shameless desperadoes. Who have no modicum of self respect and responsibility.

We, therefore, call on the teeming APC members and the general public to ignore these political contractors, who are only interested in destabilizing the party because the party has been rescued from their jaws and mercantilist scheme.

The party, however, will continue to pursue peaceful means of bringing every member on board and to address any genuine concern(s) that will lead to greater harmony for the interest and success of the party

Politics / Peace Returns To APC Enugu State As UGO Agballah And Dr Oji Hug In Embrace by Elishu2021: 5:42am On Nov 02, 2021
Udi, the country home of Hon. Barr Ugo Agballa was a beehive of activities as Walter Oji pays a congratulatory visit to the newly elected Chairman of APC in Enugu state.

We recall that Dr. Walter Oji, former executive chairman of Udi local government area, was one of the foremost aspirants to the position of state chairman of APC in Enugu state.

On the 16th of October 2021 at the Destiny event center Enugu where the APC congresses took place, party faithfuls were expectant, waiting for a keen contest between two Udi born politicians but to  their greatest dismay, the bout was not to take place as Dr. Oji stepped down and was the first to line behind his brother, the eventual winner of the contest, Hon. Barr Ugo Agbala, the newly elected chairman of APC.

Clad in APC uniform, brandishing a cow rope, signifying a gift of cow, drinks and edibles, accompanied by a musical troup, Walter stormed the Ogbuibor Villa in Udi, backed by a crowd of supporters to felicitated with his political brother and friend who he described as a fighter and a winner who has won so many battle and is ready to win more. He pledged to throw his support, that of his followers and of the entire stake holders of Udi local government area behind him so as to achieve success for APC to take over in Enugu state.

He urged him to keep it up and pleaded with every aggrieved person to join hands with Ugo Agballa to make APC great in Enugu state.

In his response, the state chairman thanked Dr. Oji for his thoughtfulness, solidarity and sincerity, he further described him as a friend, brother and political ally whose relationship with him stems from the same political ideology of progressivism. ( Oganiruism)

He reiterated that they are in politics to ensure good governance for the good of Enugu state, not for personal gains but for the benefit of all and sundry. He further preached love and forgiveness amongst the members of APC and stressed that there is no faction in APC. According to him, true democrats sheath their swords after the duel.

"There is no two APC,  there is only one APC he concluded.

Politics / Congress: Ugo Agballa Emerges APC Chairman by Elishu2021: 9:18am On Oct 21, 2021
Congress: Ugo Agballa emerges APC Chairman of Enugu State.

The 16th of Oct.2021 was a date with history and the Destiny Event Center the rendez-vous of an epoch making event in the life of APC in Enugu state.

Party delegates from the 260 wards and 17 local government areas of the state converged to vote in their leaders. Gracing the occasion were Dr Ijeoma, the congress committee chairman, Send. Ken. Nnamani, the south east leader of the, party Hon. Emma Eneukwu, the former national vice chairman, S E. amongst other party stalwarts from Abuja and beyond.
Addressing the party faithfuls, the chairman of the occasion emphasized the need for the party to embrace internal democracy in electing the officers of the party and Enugu state should not be an exception he therefore announced option A4 as the method to be adopted in the congress according to the provisions of the constitution of the party.

The event took a dramatic turn when Hon. Barr Ugo Agballa was called out, the ovation and the chant of Ugo Agballa k'anyi g'eso... was mind blowing as the entire delegates started falling over themselves to line up behind him.

Thus Ugo Agballa emerged winner of the chairmanship election of APC in Enugu state, scoring a total of 684 votes while his opponent Mr. Omeje scored 4 votes to come second. The third contestant, Group Capt. J. Orji did not show up in the election.
Today history has been made, one of ours, an astute politician, a mover of the people and a man endowed a wealth of political experiences has come to the rescue of APC in Enugu state.

It is evident that since the defection of Agballa to APC,  the party has been experiencing the kind of implosion that has never been seen in the party since it's formation  in Enugu state.

The reality of the emergence of this humble down to earth gentleman who has devoted his political career to grassroot mobilization is yet to unfold but very soon, what will happen to APC in Enugu state will be a marvel.
Political experience acquired over the years will come into play and  the result will be unprecedented.

Politics / Ugo Agballa Ratified As APC Chairman by Elishu2021: 8:28am On Oct 21, 2021
Ugo Agballa ratified as APC chairman of Enugu state.

Politics is a contest and in every contest, there must be a winner and a loser.
But in most cases nobody likes to accept defeat instead there is always a protest or a disagreement which culminates often in violence and petitions.

The chairmanship contest involving Hon. Barr. Ugo Agballa, Group Capt. J. Orji and Chief Omeje is not and cannot be an exception.
Though Group Capt. Orji absconded from the congress when he saw the direction of the pendulum, his supporters  led by Hon. Mama started violence, Braking the Public address systems and was even attempting physical violence against the elected chairman but for the timely intervention of the Enugu State Commissioner of Police and the Area Commander he would have had his way.
However, the conduct of the election was peaceful and clear for everyone to see.

That notwithstanding, petitions and agitations that precede electoral failures should not be ruled out and as such it is not uncommon for the electoral casualty to put pen to paper in protest.

Politics is a game of number and any party or candidate that would go far should adopt a people oriented attitude which definitely would open them up for the masses' embrace.
They should be accommodating, ready to allow participatory democracy to take place in the party.

Defecting into a party with a state wide structure of 21 ward executives in all 17 local government areas of the state in addition to numerous members down the wards is no mean feat and every political party that must succeed cannot let go off such a personality.
Hon. Barr Ugo Agballa, president general of Oganiru ndIgbo moves like a train that cannot be stopped and like the snail moves with the entire Oganiru household.

Barr. Ugo Agballa formed Oganiru as a joint venture with Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Ezeigbo Gburugburu in the year 2000 as a stepping stone towards bringing back ndigbo to the national grid. The popularity of Oganiru was tested in the gubernatorial and presidential elections of 2003 on the platform of APGA, with Ugo Agballa contesting for governor while Ezeigbo contested for president. The resultant  victory was overwhelming though denied. The same feat was repeated in 2007 on the platform of Accord and again Ugo Agballa was denied the governorship victory.

Oganiru has remained in one piece since then, mobilizing through the grass root and increasing in number.
The Congress of 16 Oct. 2021 was yet another opportunity to show the stuff they are made of and it is clear to all and sundry that Oganiru has come to stay as the strongest socio-political group in Igboland.

Recall that during the last presidential election, the Atiku/Obi campaign organization requested ndiOganiru to support them in the election and the result of the last presidential election is on record to buttress the voting strength of this Igbo socio-political group.

Today, ratifying the chairmanship of Ogbuibor by the leadership of APC is not unexpected as his inclusion in the decision making body of APC will surely turn around the destiny of the party.
Hon. Barr. Ugo Agballa is a round peg in a round hole.

Edozie Njoku emerges another APGA flagbearer for Nov 6 Anambra Guber poll

from Chuks Collins, Awka

June 29,2021

A factional National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Edozie Njoku has been elected governorship flagbearer of the party in the forthcoming Nov 6,2021 election in Anambra state.

Chief Njoku who commended the very peaceful disposition of the party delegates all through the process thanked them for believing in him.

He reiterated that “the party had to move swiftly immediately the court order which had prevented the party primary from holding before now elapsed yesterday”.

Flanked by other bigwigs of the party including the National Youth Leader -Chuks Nwoga and the Anambra state chairman of the faction -Chief Freedom Henry Okwuchukwu said his group carefully complied with all the electoral guidelines as enunciated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and it was well acknowledged by the Commission.

He reminded the delegates who thronged the Finotel Suites, venue of the event that their efforts was to reposition and strengthen the party. He lamented that things had been left in decadence for too long.

Taken up on the fears of members over the festering crisis within the party leadership, and the possibility that it could hamper its fortunes in the coming Nov 6 Anambra governorship election, but Chief Njoku allayed everyone’s fears and apprehensions. He pointed out that APGA has challenges, but that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has even bigger challenges, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenges are multifarious.

On the Jude Okeke factor, who was claiming leadership of a third faction of the party, the new flagbearer said he “never know or hear about Jude Okeke, he only emerged June 15,2021 from nowhere.

“And if he emerged June 15, he need to give INEC 21 days statutory notice, and which is not possible. His emergence was all because the right things were not done by the party.

He therefore assured that soon all the disagreement would be sorted out and go ahead to win the coming Nov 6,2021 governorship election.

Okwuosa, man of steel, remains as constant as ever

- Dike Igboekwe

Arising from a stake holders' meeting of the Hon. Sir Azuka Okwuosa campaign organization in it's headquarters at Udoka estate Awka, Hon. Sir Azuka Okwuosa called for calm.

Addressing his teaming supporters on Tuesday 29th June 2021, he urged them not to dispir over the unfortunate turn the APC primary election has taken. "Everyone knows that the proposed APC primary election scheduled to be held in Anambra state on the 26th July 2021, did not take place but sadly enough a result emerged at the end of the day" Okwuosa lamented. He described the entire situation as a sham and a shame to the reputation of the party which he laboured with other party men to build in Anambra state .He bewildered that such an unfortunate thing could happen in the party when NdiAnambra are begining to build confidence and faith in the party. He remarked that this kind of development is capable of bringing to naught all the efforts made to bring a lasting reconciliation to the party.

He however thanked his supporters for their steadfastness before and during the campaign "You believed in me, supported me and accompanied me to all the wards during my ward tours, I remain grateful to you all, I cannot pay you enough, but God will surely reward you exceedingly" Zukky added.

He further urged them not to lose faith in the struggle as God will always vindicate the just. " If is the will of God for me to become the governor, no conspiracy can stop it", he assured them that what ever be the outcome of the present struggle, that their labours shall never be in vain.

Okwuosa pledged not to give up untill the right thing is done.

Hon. Ebele Obi ( a k a Mbada yii) was a bit philosophical in his speech, he added that things like this can happen in politics, and have happened before, he then urged the supporters not to be depressed that the will of God must surely be done.

The woman leader, Mrs Nkechi Nnoli appreciated the women for the love they showered on zukky and assured them that APC is a mega party that is capable of taking care of them all, no matter the situation.

Politics / Okwuosa:apc Surest Candidate Foranambra Governorship Ticket* by Elishu2021: 10:07am On Jun 22, 2021
ANAMBRA DECIDE:* *Okwuosa:APC surest candidate forAnambra governorship ticket*

By Afam Eboh

*Hon Azuka Okwuosa* has emerged a political colossus whose entrance into the Anambra state governorship race, has indeed reshaped the configuration of the governorship contest in the state scheduled to hold in November.

Okwuosa has indeed towered above other contenders for the plum job having outlined, not just a blueprint to reposition Anambra State when elected as Governor, but a workable and implementable programme of action, devoid of unrealistic theories bandied about by some contestants.

As he officially joins the race with the picking of the nomination form few days ago announce on the platform of the APC, Chinyelugo Oraifite will be raising the bar in the contest, as he begins the journey to Government House, Awka, amidst overwhelming support and endorsement for his aspiration by majority of Ndi Anambra.

The All Progressive Congress, APC in Anambra State on it’s part, has indeed shown undiluted commitment to rescue the people of Anambra State from the bad governance, foisted on them by a clueless APGA government.

There is no doubt that the APGA Administration had set backwards, the clock of progress and development of the people of Anambra State.

For the APC to realize the task of not just cruising to Government House, Awka, but adjust the clock to tick towards the prosperity of the people that will change the State for good, the party has the onerous task to field a candidate acceptable to all segments of Anambra people, to enable it win the governorship election.

More importantly, it has the task to field a candidate who is in sync with the expectations and aspirations of the people of the State. That candidate is undoubtedly, Hon Azuka Okwuosa.

Analysts contend that of the multitude of aspirants seeking to fly the flag of the APC in the Anambra state governorship election, only Hon. Azuka Okwuosa, seems to posses the midas touch and charisma, twin attributes, which has made him connect seamlessly with the people who have already reposed confidence in his ability to take Anambra State to the next level.

From health, education, commerce, infrastructure, these key sectors of the Anambra State economy, has in the past 20 years been plagued by rot and decadence. This can be attributed to the fact, that the state was plagued by non responsive administrations, which did not live up to the expectations of the people because they never in the first place, understood the problems plaguing the people of the State.

As *Zukky* officially declares his guber election on the platform of the APC, it can be said the APC in the State, do have in it’s kitty, a sellable and winnable governorship candidate who can assure and guarantee the party’s victory in the governorship election.

As *Zukky* said “We need a reawakening, a renaissance, a call to self reinvent. We need big ideas. We need critical thinking on governance beyond payment of salaries and road construction”

This is the time to change the face of Anambra State and the messiah in the person of *Zukky* has just arrived.

*# I BELIEVE*

*# VOTE 4 ZUKKY*

Politics / Ours Shall Be An Agro-based Economy - Hon Zukky Okwuosa. by Elishu2021: 9:13pm On Jun 19, 2021
OURS SHALL BE AN AGRO-BASED ECONOMY - Hon Zukky Okwuosa.

Our administration shall be ago-based and we shall return Anambra from a consumer economy to a producer economy.
One of the greatest problems of NdiAnambra is rural roads, accessing our farm lands, which makes it difficult to evacuate our agricultural produce. Therefore, we shall create an enabling environment for farmers to thrive by providing feeder roads to enhance the movement of agricultural produce amongst other incentives.
We shall also recreate agricultural settlements and plantations as this would facilitate food production and provide employment for the rural women.
In addition, we shall establish agro-allied industries to process farm produce for subsequent exportation. By this, we would have added value to our export produce. Anambra agro-supermarkets shall be established in the Diaspora to display and market our agricultural products such as palm produce, processed cassava, plantain, yam, potatoes vegetables etc.
With the latest technology, in agricultural production and processing, we shall surpass the achievements of Dr. M. I Okpara of the defunct Eastern Region.
We intend to invite agricultural experts from Holland to train our farmers on the production of diary and other agricultural products. We shall create ranches across the state and cows shall be imported from the Netherlands and grazed in Anambra state.
In fact, we have a full agricultural package that is next to none which will turn around the fate of NdiAnambra and our state, Anambra, shall be listed amongst the fastest growing economies of the 21st century.
