Thank you for your response siena. The tires in front are 205.65.15 while the ones behind are 205.70.15. Could this be the reason for the high rpm? My camry does about 2.5k rpm at 80mph. Dats why i'm a bit concerned about the sharan. Naija mechanics here are suggesting i change my plugs. What do u think siena?

This has been an issue to me for a while now. Its a four cylinder volkwagen engine. Can u imagine dat 20 litres of petrol wasnt enough for a 200km journey? also noticed dat the vehicle does high rpm eg at 120km it does over 4k rpm at gear 5!!! I've cleaned the air filter and changed the fuel filter. Sienna and other auto gurus in d house, come to my rescue,

Mrs. Cecilia Ibru, the former managing director of Oceanic Bank PLC, is to spend six months in jail and forfeit over N150 billion Naira in assets and cash.

The former MD was convicted of bank and securities fraud and was convicted earlier today by a federal high court judge preisded over by Justice Dan Abutuin Ikoyi, Lagos.

However, the judge provided what amounts to a slap on the wrist by giving her only six months jail time. The judge said Mrs. ibru will not get 1 -month credit for time already spent in EFCC custody during her arrest and interrogation. Her six months jail time would run concurrently as she was convicted on several counts of bank and security fraud.

Mrs. Ibru has vast assets throughout the world.

this is a man that singlehandedly started and nurtured intercontinental bank to wat it is today. whether u like it or not, this man has contributed positively to the economic development of this country. why are nigerians filled up with soo much hate and jealousy for people who are known for success and achievements?? im not saying he's a saint but we all know that our leaders play politics with virtually everything. That there is a credit crunch is no news but how its being handled in this country is sumtin else, chei! Banks went down all over the world, no fuss was made over it, no bank officer was arrested not to talk of sack or detention! Fine, this guys gave out naked loans, but that is naija for u, virtually nothing is done the right way! That is the nature of the operating environment. Sanusi cannot beat his chest and say that Akingbola, as a CEO was worse than the unaffected CEOs. How many businesses and companies have the likes of ibori, IBB, abacha and others established in this country at least to employ fellow nigerians and contribute to national economy? We have worse criminals who are still roaming the streets of naija with impunity! The least Sanusi should have done is to give them a decent exit and not this embarassment!

can we find 5w 30 oil in naija?

i use the same vehicle and it came with the manual. it specifies oil viscocity of 5w 30, but i havent found that in naija here. so i use the available 20w 50, mobil. i also want to know the right time to change transmission oil.

the thermostat has been re-installed. the coolant temperature guage rises to almost half the way in about 3-4 mins of engine idling and remains there, unlike b4 dat it took much longer and still drops wen u start driving.
Pls hdw can one know wen the transmission oil needs to be changed
