still expecting ur reaction to my post above about the double cell radiator,

thanks for ur concern.

my automec advised me to remove it cos the weather here is too hot and it'll be of no use, the engine will need free flow of the coolant 98% of the time.
It made some sense to me then. He also said that the radiator needs to be changed to double cell radiator, the single cell there now will soon be less effective.
I also noticed that water flows from under the engine wenever the AC is on, as in, like a flowing tap

u guys seem to be very knowledgeable on autos, and i quite appreciate dat.
I'm quite confused about radiator coolants, my camry01 came wit the pink one but we lost a lot of it while removing the thermostat, so I topped it up with the green abro coolant available here in naija. I later learnt that mixing the coolants (the pink and green one) does more harm than good in vehicles, so i flushed out everything and put just the green one, mixed with water.

the question,

wat r the dangers in mixing water with coolants, esp when the ratio of water is higher in the mixture?
is there any danger removing the thermostat?

Camry 2000 is all over the place, infact its a very common vehicle now.
Therefore, if u think u're being smart by ignoring requests about this vehicle, potential buyers will look elsewhere 'cos the probability of seeing a cleaner one with all the info they'll ever need is very high, also, consider the value of the sefa now. Guy, I'll suggest u re-strategize!

my camry01 came wit the pink one. i lost a lot of it wen my automec removed the thermostat. I was advised to top it up wit ABRO green fluid which I did sometime in march. I'll get my automec to flush it asap! Thanks for the info!

I'm sure your statement is a product of frustration. If your ears are on ground, you'll know that the Kano TS is in session.

Well, training has been fun so far. 55 were invited and about 40 showed up. On thursday last week more hopefuls were called to fill up vacant spaces. Some resumed yesterday(friday) while others are expected on monday.
The bank intends to train and employ everyone on their waiting list, therefore I urge all of us once again to be patient. The end of the long wait is near.
Once again, patience is a virtue, let us all embrace it.

FELLOW NAIRALANDERS, I got an sms from IBPLC asking me to report 4 training at Kano TS on monday 14. The msg came shortly after I reported to duty this morning(I teach in a sec school in my area, earning a less than paltry pay just to keep myself busy). As I said earlier, I'm a Kano hopeful, had my test, intavw and meds in kano. I've been waiting 4 this sms since march 17, d day I did my meds.

IBPLC have not 4gotten us, so I urge all hopefuls to be patient, cos the time will surely come.

I also wish to use this medium to thank all landers for their encouragement, support and information.
I WISH US ALL THE BEST IN ALL OUR FUTURE ENDEAVOURS.

We shall all get there in no distant time. I'm a kano hopeful, had my interview and medicals in mid march expectin 2 b called soon cos the first batch of trainees passed out today. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I was allowed to write the test they administered in kaduna on the 16th of june. I gatecrashed. Now they have sent me an invitation to write their test in maiduguri. I presently reside in Kaduna. E no easy oh!!!
