But they can freeze the money there, till it is resolved. Had same issues when I was purchasing a car, I latter found out that the car was far less of what I bargained with Him for, and I had made the transfer.
My bank advised me to write and they confirmed the transaction, and the guy could not make wildrawals though the money was still in his account. The matter was latter resolved and I got my cash back.
But it took like two months though
Good luck

You don't just pick a random verse from the scripture that wasn't in any way an edict, and then use it to support your views on gender equality. That verse of the scripture wasn't an injunction. It was just a reference to a particular custom that wasn't in any way a prescription for how christians should live their lives. What you just did is equivalent to saying that all christian women should veil their faces on their wedding day, since Leah's(Jacob's first wife's) face was veiled on the day of her wedding.
?
Correct me if I'm wrong, in ur church wedding don't u vail the lady to the ulter
And even in our traditional wedding the ladies are also vailed.
So where am I not getting it right

I remember you were the one that created that "I am a woman" thread that was on front page yesterday, that I used to shine. Why are you allowing your feminist views to prevent you from reasoning objectively and honestly?

You don't just pick a random verse from the scripture that wasn't in any way an edict, and then use it to support your views on gender equality. That verse of the scripture wasn't an injunction. I also find it quite funny that you are using the bible to justify your skewed conception of gender equality. Last time I checked, the bible, especially the old testament which you referenced, goes contrary to anything that represents gender equality. The same bible ordered non-virgins to be killed on their wedding day, hence defining the value of women by their virginity. The same bible perceived women as mere possessions of their husbands and gave more social, financial and religious privilege to male children. But why then do you choose to cherry-pick only parts of this same bible that re-affirm your silly notions?
You are making lot of sense here, but u are actually trying to run from dish washing bro

I will be back.... Now am back... Everytin she wrote re so true... Imagine wen I was a kid my dad who travels a lot cheated on my mum like mad beat her too some times... The family couldn't take it anymore so dey came 1 day had dis fight with my dad in the process he lost like 3 tooth to my fashion designer uncle Blessing... Mum leaves the home with our kid broda and dad starts bringing some of his concubines home but mum is criticized for leaving and abandoning us as my elder sister was just 12 or so while I was 8 and still in primary sch.... Mum starts a small biz and starts looking good and pple starts accusing her of slping with men.... All dis while I so much loved my dad cuz he hardly beats or disciplines me yet mum still deals with my excesses even though she wasn't living with us but not that far too..... Mum dies years later wen I was 15, some say she was poisoned but she really suffered b4 she died, afta investing all she had and wat odas supported her with to help fight her illness... Even in her grave she is blamed for the wayward lifestyle of my elder sister who my dad and his family knew was very close to her b4 she died, unknown to dem my sister was a pretender around my late mum and did all she did on her own... As for me I cleaned up my life changed from that teenager who wanted to explored life to a more conservative young man who practically stayed away from Gals because I knew for a fact that they re fragile besides I resolved afta my mums death neva to make any woman pass through what she went through. I so regret not been close to her wen she was alive... I ran from her cuz she wanted the best for me and would always discipline me wen I wen the wrong way.. I really didn't like her wen she was alive due to the fact dat I spent my very tender years with my grandmum who taught me 50% of wat I know and do 2day so wen I finally reunited with my mum she was more like a stranger to me as I practically detested her food and so many things about her.... Fast Forward to present time and I so miss her especially when I think of the fact that I will and can neva have a mother like her in this present system.... And yes afta 27 years of remaining single and concentrating on been a better man I started dating just last year to my best friend of 14 year and hope to correct some if not all the mistakes that were there in my dad and mums marriage life hopefully by next year.... And yes OP I agree with you all what pple did to her including me and what happened to her happened because SHE WAS A WOMAN...
Nice piece and I love the way you made it so real
But some people will never agree with you

I AM A WOMAN!!! -

So what?
I get into an argument with a man, he slaps me, I feel the pain, yet they tell me I provoked him. I should have been quiet, I should have been patient. I should apologize to him.

I get into an argument with a man, I slap him, they tell me I have no respect, no home training. I should have been quiet, I should have been patient. I should apologize to him.

Because I am a woman, I don't have a right to be angry. So, the degree of my innocence is directly proportional to the degree of my silence in the face of oppression and brutality.....

Because I am a woman, my husband cheats on me, I am told to tolerate it to save my marriage. The barbaric and stupid excuse is that ''it is in their nature to cheat, I should slim down, dress better, cook better, pray harder and be more pleasant to him"

I cheat, and I am called a LovePeddler, I have committed an abomination, I have no right to look elsewhere for the love and emotional support I lack at home, I am an irresponsible mother.

So I am sent packing, from the home we both built, with all my earthly possessions stuffed into a tiny box on my head. I am henceforth forbidden from seeing my two older children, I'm lucky to be allowed to go with my little one still suckling on my left breast. Three years later, the little one is tagged a bastard. Now, my new name is "after-three", because I am a woman.

He is 28 and runs a company. He's tagged wonderful, hardworking, focused, career oriented, successful at a very young age.

I am 28 and I run a company " Hmmmm, she is not even married, unserious, can not order her priorities right, a hustler, loves money, let her go and get a husband oh"
And I wonder if being successful has anything to do with a person's gender.

Because I am a woman,
I am not allowed to have wits or be a prodigy, I cannot be financially buoyant, professionally successful or be treated with respect without a man beside me.

Then I am tagged a generous leg opener, "a runs girl". They never see the possibility that I actually had to go through ups and downs to get to where I am.
Because I am a woman.

A man looses his wife to death and remarries a year after, he did the right thing, he's being praised and congratulated for moving on, afterall life is for the living.

A woman looses her husband to death and remarries after 4yrs, "ahhh! so early? Are u sure she wasn't sleeping with that man even when her husband was alive? That was why she killed her husband. She's a witch! " Because she's a woman.

Because I am a woman, this post will be considered controversial, and everyone will try to correct me.
But don't forget, that I am a woman and it does not make me less human!!! Happy new year.

Surprise, excitement as Governor Obaseki, deputy pose as Santa Claus for IDPs

In the spirit of the season, Edo State Government on Saturday, hosted the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at the International Christian Centre to a Christmas party where Governor Godwin Obaseki and Deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu played the role of ‘Father Christmas’ to the admiration and excitement of the children.

The event, which was hosted by the Office of the Governor’s Wife, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki is unique in this part of the world – if not the first in recent history.

The event also afforded the children the opportunity to engage in various fun-sports activities such as bouncing castle, merry-go-round, coconut ride, electric train, mountain climber, giant water slide, swimming pool, giant shark attack, aeroplane rocking ride, dolly coin machine, princess castle, superman castle, children boogie bike, octopus, inflatable football among others.

It was also not in short supply of assorted food and drinks with gifts for everyone.

However, a new dimension was introduced – the pleasant surprise – Governor Obaseki and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu emerged from the ‘blues’ posing as ‘Executive Santa Claus’.

On hand to support Mrs. Betsy Obaseki was the Deputy Governor’s Wife, Mrs. Maryann Shaibu.

Okonjo Iweala, a woman that had seen it all
could come out to say at an American
conference that the SEED OF THIS RECESSION
WAS PLANTED DURING THE JONATHAN REGIME
DUE TO OUR LACK OF FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE,
INABILITY AND LACK OF POLITICAL WILL TO
SAVE. People should not blame jonathan alone
for this because the profligate Nigerian
Governors too are culpable. He attempted to
save, but the governors demanded to take all the
savings citing constitutional right. Money they
took and stole at the same time. Our case is
pathetic.
Do you know that:
Obasanjo's administration earned # 17trn from
crude oil sales within eight years and left behind
45bn dollars external reserves and 3.348bn
dollars external debt.
Yaradua grew the reserves to 64bn dollars
within just one year and the administration was
able to finance 15 months of imports despite the
2008/2009 world economic meltdown. Hence,
Nigeria survived the melt down because of the
political will by the administration to save (a great
achievement by Yaradua which most Nigerians
are not aware of). Despite the tough economic
reality at that time, Yaradua left 47.7bn dollars in
reserves and an external debt of 3.94bn dollars.
Meanwhile, the administration earned only # 9trn
from crude oil sales within that short period.
Now, Jonathan administration witnessed an oil
boom when Brent crude sold for over 100
dollars/barrel, with the regime earning # 51trn
within a period of 5years. But because of
corruption, the administration did not only
squander the oil revenue but even depleted the
reserves left by Yaradua, leaving just 32bn
dollars and a huge external debt of 63bn dollars
for Buhari.
The same Brent crude sold for as low as 35
dollars/barrel at a point shortly after Buhari took
over power and had only managed to climb to
about 48 dollars just recently.
These are facts that can be verified. So, it's
amazing hearing people criticize Buhari for the
hunger in the land.
According to Fashola, Buhari's administration
inherited 206 uncompleted road projects and
contract arrears worth #2.1trn from Jonathan;
and for about 2 to 3 years the contractors where
not paid. This slowed down the economic
activities, with most of the companies laying off
their staff. This was when the seed of recession
was sowed.
It's obvious that Buhari came in to rescue
Nigeria, because if Jonathan had continued in
power, the nation's economic crisis would have
been worse, perhaps even the Federal
government wouldn't have been able to pay
salaries of civil servants by now.
According to Okonjo Iweala, Nigeria started
borrowing money to pay salaries since October,
2014; but today Nigeria now borrow money for
investment in capital projects.
Those who blame Buhari for the current
hardship do so either out of mischief (hatred) or
ignorance. So, we shouldn't join the bandwagon
in criticising him. He may not have done much to
save the situation, considering that he is not a
perfect human being but he means well for the
country and can only succeed with our prayers.
May Almighty God continue to guide Buhari
Administration and Nigerians in general.
Why not share this piece with others for the
sake of enlightenment and conscious prayers for
our nation. We have the responsibility to
enlighten others. Mischievous, ignorant people/
politicians should not drag us backwards.
You sincerely need help from heaven
