The management of Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro (DSPZ) wishes to inform all interested candidates that registration for the 2016/2017 Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admissions into various ND programmes is ongoing.

Eligibility:

The following are the approved guidelines and procedure for payment of postgraduate school fees of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri:
Step 1: First visit and login to the postgraduate school payment portal www.futoportal.org/pg using your FUTO RegNo or Application Number as Reg Number and using the word “password” as Password.
Step 2: Click on Edit Profile to upload your passport photograph and supply your valid phone number and email address
Warning: You have only one chance to upload your passport photograph yourself. Kindly ensure that you make no mistakes. However, for those who eventually make a mistake, they would need to apply to the Director, ICT Centre for removal and replacement of the wrong photograph. Also note that without uploading your passport photograph, you will not be able to print your fees receipt, after successful payment.
Step 3: Click on School Fees to generate your payment invoice for the session, as appropriate.

Step 4: Click on GENERATE INVOICE to generate your payment invoice.
Step 5(a): Click on Print Invoice to print your invoice, after-which you log out and proceed to any bank to make payment using your Remita RRR Code, displayed on your printed payment invoice. Since after the scrapping of Post-UTME one thing that is certain is; there will be putme either inform of another name and it may be different from usual putme or it may still be same as usual.The best way to beat this and be happy after this screening is to read widely, test and prepare yourself in different areas so that any method that will be used, you wont be like...oh i didnt know this is what would happen.
Whichever method it will be, our researches and suspicious suggests that it may be one of these methods.
1. ORAL SCREENING METHOD:
If the admission screening will be oral screening, just know that your ability to communicate (communication skills) is what will come under scrutiny. Its not about blowing big grammar but understanding the questions thrown at you and your response without going off-point. You have to be bold, you have to be convincing and logical.

2. USUAL METHOD:
If some school decides to use her usual putme, it means it will be CBT for those who adopted that last year which involves questions and answers just like utme. All you need to do is to apply all the preparations you have been putting up all this while. Equip yourself very well by reading your putme past questions, mostly utme past questions and text books.

Candidates who have Lagos State University as their Choice of institution in the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), and have scored a minimum of 190 marks are eligible to participate in the Admission Screening Exercises. In addition, candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
B. ALL Direct Entry candidates who wish to be considered for admission into Lagos State University for the 2016/2017 academic session, who must have obtained Direct Entry Form from JAMB are also eligible and must apply for the screening exercise. However, these applicants are EXEMPTED from the Admission Screening. Online registration is compulsory for them.
C. Candidates of Lagos State Origin, for 100 & 200 levels will be required (if admitted) to prove their claims before the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (lIVC) set up by the Lagos State University.
D. Candidates should note that ONLY the accredited courses listed below are available for the 2016/2017 Academic Session. Therefore, only candidates that have chosen any of the underlisted courses should apply.

The NYSC Management has approved that all PCMs that missed Stream 1 of 2016 Batch A, be pulled to Stream 2.

These affected PCMs have been sent SMS to go online & reprint their Call-up letters. In case an affected PCM did not receive the SMS, he/she can still go ahead & reprint Call-up letter.

Information reaching us has it that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is working towards conducting orientation course on quarterly basis from 2017 as part of measures to meet up with challenges posed by increasing corps population.
This, the source stated that the Director-General Brigadier General Johnson Olawumi gave this hint at the opening ceremony of the 2016 Annual Management Conference (AMC) of the scheme in Asaba, Delta State, pointing out that the scheme, which started with a pioneer batch of 2,364 corps members in 1973, now mobilise around 260,000 corps members annually with the population expected to rise to 350,000 soon.
