This is to inform all 2015 Batch A and B corp members that the Registration for Remobilization is ongoing and prospective corps members who were/have been mobilized in the past but due to one problem or the other were not able to report to camp can now do so. This is to give them equal opportunity with their colleagues who is presently serving or might have passed out.
According to collinsdictionary.com to remobilize means to recall to active military duty. NYSC is a scheme geared towards national integration and every Nigerian graduate under the age of 30 is entitled to this scheme.

The Vice Chancellor of NOUN, had said the university leadership has sealed an agreement with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to henceforth issue admission letters to every NOUN graduate eligible for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme after the payment of prescribed fees by NOUN.
The implication is that with effect from the next academic session, NOUN graduates below age 30 would partake in the NYSC programme.
However, Prof Vincent Tenebe, the Vice Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), said now is the time for admission seekers to embrace Open and Distance Learning (ODL) education offered by NOUN.
Unlike conventional universities, Tenebe said NOUN is not encumbered by space and can admit much more than others.
He said: “Since we cannot admit everybody in the conventional university, the Open University provides the only option for us to get all those who are qualified and are willing to acquire university education to get admission and it is a thing of joy to know that we can produce graduates who are part of the conventional system.

In order to ensure a seamless registration, prospective corps members are to note the following for strict compliance:
1. The Website address is any of the following:

iii.www.portal.nysc.gov
2. Prospective Corps members should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses with valid password and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.
3. Locally trained prospective Corps members are expected to use correct JAMB and Matriculation numbers to register.
4. For locally-trained graduates, only those whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board Approved Result lists submitted by their Institutions will have access to the NYSC portal.
5. Prospective corps members must ensure that their institutions and Courses are approved and accredited by Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC), National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) or Federal Ministry of Education (FME), otherwise they would not be mobilized..

It is imperative for candidates to check the date and the time of commencement of their papers from examination Time-table and their examination centre or from the Board’s web-site.

All morning papers would commence at 9.00 a.m., and candidates are to arrive at their examination centres at least HALF AN HOUR before the commencement of each paper.

No candidate is allowed to leave the hall, unless on confirmed health ground, until 30 minutes to full time for a 3-hour paper or 10 minutes to full time for an objective paper. Where a health problem is confirmed, the centre Supervisor is under instruction to ensure that question paper and other worked materials are not taken out of the examination hall. Similarly, no candidate is allowed into an examination hall 30 MINUTES after the commencement of a paper.

All practical/oral tests are expected to commence at 9.00 a.m. as indicated on the Time-table. Candidates must report at the centres where they are expected to write their practical/oral examination at the scheduled time on the Time-table.
