According to information gathered , The fire started at about 11:50pm on Wednesday 3rd August 2022. ⁣Luckily many persons were able to escape from the building when the fire started.⁣ ⁣ The fire was said to have started from the back of the building and rapidly spread to the entire building from the top floor and razed down to the ground floor destroying goods and monies worth close to a billion naira.

Good people of the community came out enmasse to help salvage some goods from the ground floor. ⁣ The fire was a raging one, while trying to curb the situation the Fire Fighters ran out of supply.


The FTRA President, Mr Shola Fakorede and other residents were at the scene and they tried getting alternative means to get water from the water suppliers in Festac. ⁣ Unfortunately water wasn’t able to be gotten from branca and sylko who are water vendors in the estate as at the time of the fire

Temple Hill Supermarket is known to be a major go to shopping place for residents and even visitors and they are a major FMG Business in the community. ⁣ ⁣ As at the time of this report, no casualties had been recorded. Asides from the Fire Fighters , Security agencies were on ground. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ According to a source the fire was caused by an electrical failure ⁣which occurred when power was restored

A Nigerian man has lamented after returning from abroad to find out that his wife has sold his house for N10 million. In a sad video shared on TikTok which was recorded while he toured the property, the unidentified man property revealed that he acquired the land alone for N9.5 million and paid N500k for community development.

Pointing to the direction of the house, he said he put all the protectors, plastered and roofed it before leaving the country.
According to him, he handed the house to his wife to take care of, indicating that he didn't tell her to sell it.

Alleged audio convo between Bishop Felix Okpara and the 16-yr-old girl he reportedly def#led for a year goes viral

A phone conversation between embattled pastor of Mercy House Church International, Bishop Felix Okpara Duruebube, and the 16-year-old he allegedly defiled has surfaced online.

The 39-year-old was last month remanded in prison by a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

He was remanded at the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre after he failed to meet up his bail conditions when he was arraigned before Chief Magistrate N Anugbum.

The accused person was arraigned on a two-count charge by the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID).

Reading the charge, Chief Magistrate had said Bishop Duruebube between the month of April 2021, to May 2022 had unlawfully and sexually abused a 16-year-old girl.

The magistrate also said sometime in the month of December 2021, at Mercy House Church International headquarters in Eliozu, the suspect did unlawfully forced the minor to take an oath not to sleep with another man or tell anybody about the illegal love affair; otherwise, she would run m@d and die .

However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail by Chief Magistrate Anugbum, with two sureties in the like sum of N2 million. One of the sureties must be a bishop, while the second surety must be a relative with landed property within the Magisterial district.

In a video clip that is two minutes, 38 seconds long that was seen by SaharaReporters, Chidimma, who said she is from Imo State in the Southeast region of Nigeria, insisted that she wished to return to her parents as she could no longer endure her mistress' cruelty and sexual assaults.

She, however, did not mention the name of her mistress and efforts to get it were not successful as of the time of filing this report.
The 10-year-old girl who spoke in pidgin English said, “My aunty came to our village and told my parents that she wanted someone who would be taking care of her children because she is not always at home. I agreed to follow her but sometime after we came to Warri, when I wanted to sleep in the night, she would come and wake me up and ask me to suck her private parts and her breasts and if I refused to lick them, she would slap me.

“Sometimes if I refused to do it when I was sleeping, she would come to me and march on me with her two legs and ask me to stand up. She would then force me to suck her private parts and I would climb on her to suck her breasts which have chicken pox.

“When I finished sucking, she would ask me to bring my torch and insert it in my private parts. But when I could not do it, she forcefully pushed me out, shouting at me and asking why I could not do what she wanted me to do at my age.

“I was worried that at my age, this woman wanted to deflower me. My mother never taught me anything like that.

“For three months now, whenever I am sleeping in the middle of the night, she would wake me up and force me to do that and when she notices that her children are looking at us, she would shift her body away from me. I am 10 years old but she has made me look as if I am 13 years old.”

Six people have been reportedly swept off by erosion in Fatoki area of Orile Agege, Lagos.

The victims were in two separate vehicles when the incident happened.

Three persons were in each vehicle when flood water overflowed an uncompleted drainage and submerged their vehicles.
It was learned that residents in the community reportedly warned the victims to desist from driving through the road, but they were adamant and continued till their vehicles were submerged in the flood.
According to residents at the scene, one of the occupants of the Lexus jeep swam out of the vehicle while residents helped the other two people out.

They also helped officials of the Lagos State Fire Service at the scene to rescue the fourth person

However, one of the occupants of the Toyota car swam out and was rescued, while the second occupant who tried to swim and the third who refused to come out of the car went missing.

The Southwest Coordinator NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed that four of the victims have been rescued, while two are still missing.
Search-and-rescue operations are ongoing in search of the other two people.”

Veteran Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has spoken for the first time since the news broke about his ailing health.

The veteran singer’s management revealed in a statement on Wednesday, July 6, that he was recently diagnosed with kidney failure and has been undergoing dialysis in a Lagos hospital.

His management appealed to Nigerians to pray fervently and send in their well wishes to the singer.

However, giving an update on his health in a video he shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, July 7, Eedris assured his fans that he’s fine.

Two officials of the Porth Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) were attacked as they attempted to disconnect the power lines of defaulters in Rumuewhara area of Port Harcourt.

In a video that was shared online, one of the two PHED workers is noticed to be on top of a ladder disconnecting the power lines while another was at the foot of the ladder.

Suddenly, locals approached the official at the foot of the ladder and attacked him before throwing him to the ground and landing heavy blows on him.

While the official already on ground is being fought with, a woman walks up to the ladder and pulls it, causing the PHED official on top of the ladder to fall several feet to the ground.
A video of the attack has gone viral on Twitter after a user shared it asking that officials of the power distribution company shouldn’t be treated like this.

Ex-militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has lambasted the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi, saying he would not emerge president in 2023.

According to him, Peter Obi’s acclaimed achievement in Anambra State while serving as governor of the state were all lies.

In a live video on his official Facebook page, the founder of the defunct Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force declared that the ‘Obi-dient’ movement, which is currently going on, is a scam.
