The result day has come and somehow I didnt go to British council to check. I tried their online result checker but nothing displayed. I know I have to summon courage by Monday to pick up my test report. I hope you all had nice results.

BluePearls: I was gonna respond to those comments walcom, but I didn't want to jump my guns until you replied. I read every word you wrote and sincerely I didn't think your statement was disrespectful, eljaye probably took it personal. We are respectable people here and try as much as possible to be civil. Eljaye if you've been following this thread like you said, then you'd know we don't stand for such and we reprimand anyone who tries to insult people here. We are BB10 lovers, we are not in quote professionals, but we learn from our experiences and try to pass it on here. If no one answered your questions, then we probably missed it, all you had to do was quote yourself again. This is the only thread I spend much time on, but I still miss some post. From your reply to walcom's earlier statement, it did sound like you were beginning to throw tantrums..... no offence meant. grin

I'd really like for us to put this behind and forget it ever came up.
I am well aware that if you have a question and it wasn't answered, you would repost the question. The record of this page will bear me record that I posted the question twice.
I was gonna post it the third time, when I realised that, it felt as though I was been deliberately ignored.
For the record, throwing tantrum means an outburst of anger especially in a young child.
Can you imagine someone saying something like that to another person, and not even trying to apologise?
It's sad, that some people here see it that way.
Nobody is perfect, and am not saying this is a professional page, hence my original post.
Thanks!

tshegs19: Sometimes, Google search should be yur best friend.
Thanks man! It's quite thorough, as compared to the other sites I visited.

walcolm: stop throwing tantrums here!!!! angry the support this thread offers is a FREE WILL enthusiast support by BlackBerry users on nairaland who choose to frequent the thread

if the people who can help you with your question don't get to read your post on time, the post can get buried under newer posts....and there's no performance criteria requiring them to go back and read all posts since their last visit though i believe most of the gurus here do their best to not miss out any post but then shite happens in a real world.....all you have to do is echo yourself by quoting your original post rather than assuming you're being ignored

on this thread, all genuine cry out for BB10 help are welcome...we're one big happy family grin waiting for the release of the chosen one; the almighty BB Passport in all its squarely greatness cool
Am sorry?! Are you replying out of the fact that you saw my post or what?! If I had all the answers to my questions, I wouldn't even ask.
When I first came to this page, it was warm, accommodating and less insulting.
I didn't even know you can speak to a fellow bb10 users in this manner. Telling someone that the person is throwing a tantrum is especially disrespectful.
If you were keen on helping, you would have.
Thanks for the warmth felt here.

I still don't understand why some questions can't be answered. It's easier to say you don't have an answer than to ignore.

eljaye: Please my good bb10 users, I have a problem with this glo network in Unilag. I love this glo network, but MTN seems faster in this zone. What kind of plan am I supposed to use that won't kill me in the process. Anywhere else apart from unilag, it's good to use glo, but in that zone? It is hell! Thanks people! sad

walcolm: Fact:
z10 has a higher ppi but a smaller screen at 4.2". Z3 has a larger 5" screen but lower ppi meaning the z10 is screen beautiful but the z3 is large for you to play your heart out

Z10 has 1800mAh battery while Z3 has 2800mAh battery meaning the z3 will last probably twice as long as the z10 on one charge

Z10 has 16gb internal storage and 2gb RAM while the z3 has 8gb internal storage and 1.5gb RAM meaning the z10 has more balls than the z3 and can do some heavy lifting to make you happy

Z10 has hdmi out and z3 has fm radio and miracast

The z3 has 1.2ghz cpu, lower screen resolution but a better quad-core gpu so the lower RAM won't affect screen performance. The z10 has 1.5ghz CPU, older dual-core gpu and more RAM making it very capable

The z3 was not designed as an upgrade on the z10 but time and better technology in the z3 makes it a compelling argument. The z10 is now suffering from pioneer effects. It is now more than a year old and all the hardware are considered old in technology age even though it will still run rings around many so called quad core androids

I do not expect BlackBerry to release another device with 1.5gb RAM unless the z3 becomes ridiculously successful and they figure lots of people are happy with that concept

If you are happy with your z10/q10/q5 and you don't need to buy a new hardware then by all means enjoy what you have.

If you're upgrading to your first BlackBerry 10 and money is an issue then the z3 is the best option for you.

The z30 is still the best if money is not an issue and you feel like upgrading from any BlackBerry, android or iPhone model
In the end, walcolm still made the z30 the king!

For my favourite upgrade lovers...please has anyone of you tried upgrading their 1mobile market and still had it working for them, without seeing a second 1mobile market trying to compete for the limited space on their panel? Thanks! And please don't start laughing!
PhonesRe: Blackberry 10 Devices Home: Z10, Q10 Etc by eljaye(f): 5:07pm On Jul 30, 2014
I guess updating is a game of luck! Some get a whole bundle of mess, while some have it easy. I guess if your phone works fine with whatever os that was pushed to it, it's better to leave it that way. Anyway, it's just my humble opinion though.
PhonesRe: Blackberry 10 Devices Home: Z10, Q10 Etc by eljaye(f): 11:47am On Jul 30, 2014
Well, from a general outlook, some updates/upgrades just mess things up the more, from the simple facebook, twitter updates to os updates, there's always the fear that what if the upgrade even makes the device slower or makes using the app a little difficult.
Some people also have issues with hearsay, and once someone starts crying foul about something, the next minute panic just commences.
So it would take a whole lot to get some people to upgrade/update apps and os.

Maybe, the blackberry link did not install properly. Maybe u should try re-installing it, especially with a wifi or modem.

Thanks but I've only seen device monitor but not data manager. But I'm very sure of my observation.
And the rate at which my phone gets hot is amazing and the heat can be used to boil beans......
My candid opinion is some devices will still heat up, especially some types of z10. However most times it's when you are doing some serious download or you are on real data usage. Just download when necessary, and stick to EDGE when you don't really need to do something urgent. Just try it though!
