stinggy: Bluepearls, I downloaded the 10.3(stl-1) you posted, extracted it using 7z, opened the .exe file and connected fone thru usb.
Can't get beyond 'connecting to bootrom' for over an hour.
Has anybody complained of this about the stl-1?

While still connected to PC, Restart the phone... It will connect at boot.

eljaye: Please my good bb10 users, I have a problem with this glo network in Unilag. I love this glo network, but MTN seems faster in this zone. What kind of plan am I supposed to use that won't kill me in the process. Anywhere else apart from unilag, it's good to use glo, but in that zone? It is hell! Thanks people! sad

by default, that's where the apps should be.. in my case, so as not to lose the apps, i extract them and store.

yeh is BB10 plan differs from BIS. Ya device is among blackberry BB10 devices so you can only use BB10 subs on ya Q5 and not the normal BIS subscription.

However Glo BIS still works perfectly on BB10 device... 1k for 3gig isnt that cute? Lol migrate to Glo

Hello Guys, I need your candid advice. I am currently using Glo Always max on my Q5 and other devices. Am considering subscribing to Glo BIS Absolute Plan. I make use of about 4 Third Party emails.

This post would have read better if you had asked if the BlackBerry 10 browser could resume downloads rather than making a statement and going off on your search for other 'good' browsers

BlackBerry 10 browser has outperformed any other mobile browser out there and resumes download with absolutely no problem

Good luck with your search though

walcolm:

Because you can avoid unnecessary mistakes by asking questions. Especially since
1) Most OS downloads are 1 GB+
2) Some folks here have downloaded the same OS.

Please house, how do I share my glo data on my q5 with my pc, using the hot-spot? When I put it, it shows on my phone connected, but can't browse in my pc n it shows also on the pc not connected-but that network is available! When I click on connect on the pc, it asked me to enter the network security key, and I don't know what that is.

Please somebody should put me through on how this hot-spot stuff works oo!

You create your hot-spot with an 8 character password which you are required to enter upon connecting a device.
