FamilyRe: My Husband Doesn’t Want My Son To Come And Stay With Us by elladara: 2:48pm On Mar 13, 2020
Belafonte:
This is really difficult to believe. Even his family refused to have anything to do with you with two children/grandchildren? Wonderful.
This could be very true especially when you are unfortunate to have child/children for family that care less and does not appreciate relationships . i have a daughter of 6 years, her father is at least 85 percent responsible, i mean he pays her bills most especially school bills and send monthly allowance and am financially okay to an extent as well, so with the grace of God my daughter gets what she needs. we are not married and we cant marry as he as moved on. none of his family asked of the child not for a day, i stopped calling and visiting them 3 years and some months ago when i realized i worth more than what am getting.

Madam i can understand what you can be going through, my advice is pls dont trade your son/children for anything. if you are financially okay, have a discussion with you husband that you want to enroll him to a boarding school and he would only be coming over for holiday. or get a room apartment and get a nanny for him while you go visiting.

Awww it's another giveaway.. I have a bag and purse to giveaway...

I'm organising a Christmas party for kids in my church, it's something I do once in a while, but right now we need help with somethings mostly food stuffs and gifts for kids. If The Lord lays it upon your heart to give us, we would joyfully receive...it doesn't have to be much. Anything you give would go a long way in helping....

And it's on the 23rd of December

Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen and happy new month cheesy

December festivities is almost upon us and so is it's blessings, love and merry cheer! cheesy

Last year, we did something on the thread below, that not only touched lives, but brought joy to every individual that participated. So I decided to bring it back again, on a yearly basis, so that we'd all have a reason or two to smile every Xmas smiley

Like explained in the previous thread above, all have to do is come online and post pictures of things you'd like to give away and indicate your location so that an interested person could reach out.

You can give away things ranging from old clothes, shoes, devices, food ingredients, services, even books.

Nothing is too small or too big.

We would love EVERYONE to be a part of it and that's why we decided to start the awareness this early. So go to your bags, closets, shelves...bring out those items you don't need or no longer have use for, clean them up and take pictures of them to post and give out to those in need. And if you have no item to give, you could give out recharge cards, ebooks, cash gifts too are welcome. Everything counts and could be a blessing to someone out there.

A date for the giveaway will be communicated soon, but I'd advise you follow this thread so as not to miss out on this.

ANTICIPATE!!!!!

Merry Christmas in Advance everyone!

If you're applying for fall 2019, you are already behind schedule. You should register to write your GRE as soon as you can, as test dates for this year are almost full (December 13th was the last date in Lagos as at last check). With respect to the TOEFL test, many schools in the US are now beginning to waive the TOEFL test for Nigeria (you can confirm from the school's website or from the graduate school). Your best bet will be to apply to schools that waive TOEFL and don't require external evaluation (e.g. WES) of your transcript (many schools do their own evaluation). Also, consider that priority deadlines to be considered for some form of funding is usually either in December or January. All in all, you're still in order if you start now.
Thanks and God bless you. I had my first degree at benin republic but am a Nigerian that was why i felt TOEFL would be required.
