Well Trump in his press conference he held yesterday said "Iran had far more missiles than anyone thought"

If that's coming from Trump, it means they most likely underestimated Iran.

They should sha end this war, our capitalist dangote wan choke us finish.
He has said this evening that they'll continue to bomb Iran till they surrender. Let's see if ideology surrenders to weapons of mass destruction.

GloriousGbola:
maybe you should go and read on the anti vietnam protests of the 70s

in the 2000s - americans saw for themselves how lives and treasure were wasted in iraq and the only outcome was isis
they also saw how america spent 20 years in afghanistan for nothing

your favorite dictator is on record saying no more wars, saying kamala would invade iran.

if you actually read history, instead of being an anti knowledge, anti intellectual wannabe american conservative who gets his info from of thots copslaying as soldiers you would realize that almost all the monsters america is fighting today are their own creation. they midwifed al-qaeda and global islamic terrorsim when they supported and then abandoned the mujadeen in afghanistan . they birthed the iranian revolution when they reinstalled the shah of iran. and they forced iran to become a military power by running a proxy war against them in the 80s.

America is responsible for most of the wars on this planet - but until trump - they have had good PR - because until him, politicians, military and the president had sense not to say things like we are going to be rich, we will take the oil, it was fun sinking a ship of soldiers that was not in a war zone, renaming defense department to war department
There is one thing you're missing from your assessment Mr history. This war against Iran is different, because America is not putting boots on the ground in Iran and that is to reduce casualties. Trump knows this as a good student of history.

Another important point, Trump is against wars generally but there's always an exception and Iran is one exception. He is in record many many times saying Iran must be stopped by all means necessary. So he's not out of track at all on this issue.

Bombblacks:
This is a tone deaf and frankly ridiculous thing to say. You expect civilians in a country dealing with massive inflation, unemployment, homelessness, and an economic downturn to be jubilant that their president is pouring money into a pointless war that offers them absolutely no benefit.
That is why leadership is different. The Iranians have been a torn in America's flesh since their Islamic revolution. They've killed thousands of US soldiers, bombed their embassies, attacked their vessels and is in state of permanent war against the US. They consider US as there greatest enemy and chant death to America everyday in there parliament.

Whether the civilians feel it or not, leadership has to act to bring an end to this Iranian threat once and die all. That is why I said what I said. It's because they have it good that is why they're pushing all manner of woke ideology. If hunger don hold you, you would have the mouth to pushing trans ideology and all manner of thrash.

This Iran war was really really avoidable.

I guess Iran isn't the little guy they thought they were.
But truth be told nobody has called Iran a little guy. Even America has avoided serious confrontations with them until Trump. They're arguably the strongest military in the Gulf maybe apart from Israel. There's war banter and there's real assessment.

Ballzproblemm:
Americans don't hate war, they just hate ones they can't win ,I have observed that
Two observations.
1. This generation of spoilt Americans have become weak, they don't understand it took strong military to become the world power they're enjoying now.
2. Most of the pushbacks against this war is from Liberals who are anti Trump on anything. If Trump cures cancer today, they'll become pro cancer.

That’s not the major challenge. He is still 15 so he will be ready to contribute one way or the other within the next 1-2 years. It will happen organically and should not be rushed.

The major challenge is keeping him at the club. He can’t sign a professional contract until October 2027 and there are clubs that will try to get him before then.
They should do everything to tie him down, that boy looks like an elite in the making.

That headline would stick forever grin

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 6:58am On Mar 07
Politics aside, you can't watch that interview and your objective conclusion is Daniel did well.

raumdeuter:
The lady questioning him was talking off point and Daniel tackled her properly that she wants to believe western media when they say something bad about Nigeria but want to disbelieve the same western media

That is disingenuous and intellectually dishonest
You're missing the point the point. Daniel was citing IMF and as far as they keep lending you money, they'll say you're doing fine. The only sources saying Nigeria are doing fine internationally are the those Nigeria is owing money.

And the same Daniel didn't believe the following sources;
- All polls both local and international
- Local sources
- Nigerian Airforce
- Even he himself. How can you not believe yourself?

Lai Mohamed was better than all these Bwala and Seyilaw.. Its not hard to get metrics that support the govt policies and talk about it

Go and see when Israel vs Gaza dey hot and Piers Morgan dey grill both sides.
This is a job that pays them very well, They are inner caucus people who are privy to things govt is doing

Why cant they research and articulate it if not for laziness
I can tell you it's very hard. These people are not dumb, problem is you can't defend Tinubu on national or international stage like that and not look dumb and dishonest. This one no be Nairaland amala.

raumdeuter:
Denying yourself is a bad look

A simple answer is that you have a different perspective when looking from outside and talking without knowing the inner working, when you have come into the admin, known Tinubu personally, known how the govt works and some of the official documents, you have a different prspective

If Mehdi continues pressing about

1. Bullion van, admit you were misled by people from Lagos who claimed money was in the bullion van, Upon closer thought you realized it was a lie, No one ever saw money in there. If there is anyone who can state the amount inside, Mehdi pls tell me. secondly, I doubt there is a law in Nigeria that says you cannot bring your own money into your own house even with a bullion van.
Regarding the claim of election buying, That is a false claim that has never been substantiated, Tinubu given his stand in the society just like many big men routinely supports his community and the needy financially

2. Tinubu is trying t kill opponent.
Answer : I am not from Lagos I am from the North and depend on people on ground for Lagos updates, After getting close to Tinubu I realized he is the kindest leader, a honest and hardworking one who prioritizes the countries affair, He is not a vindictive person as we have seen many previous opponents come into his fold and see him for who he really is and not what the media claimed him to be. We have had vindictive leaders in this country like OBJ and we know Tinubu is cut from a different cloth

Note: I came up with these defence on the spot while typing
The problem with all these things is that he said them confidently as an opposition member. There is no way he won't look bad, not possible.

On Tinubu having militia to kill opponents he said Tinubu threatened him personally, when Mehdi asked him about it he said he denied ever saying it. cheesy

Just watch the dull video, its even way worse than the snippets, Mehdi even asked him about Tinubu's date of birth grin

Mehdi Hassan is a brutal interviewer. There's no guest he hasn't cooked on this Head to Head programme.

He's also a great debater. Intelligent, fast thinker and quick-witted.

Just finished watching the entire interview, and considering his extremely difficult task of defending this PBAT administration, his past criticism of PBAT and juxtaposing it with the performance of other guests on the show, I'll say Daniel Bwala did okay.
Did okay? By denying himself over and over again when presented with his qoutes and had the audience clutching their faces in sheer disbelief...

these look like conventional soldiers

this would mean there are boots on the ground.

also at this point in time, they would have killed them outright unless they want to use them for a public show
