alakhumeorobo: Still waiting for reply my good people After submission of your study permit application, the next step is biometrics if you haven’t done it in past 10 years. You have to book an appointment with either Abuja/Lagos office for the biometrics. Print out the biometrics request and with the appointment confirmation they will send you after the booking, take both & your valid international passport to the office on the day you booked. You’re welcome Someone should correct me if I’m wrong. |

emmalextemtop: Hello everyone!
**Urgent** Please who has paid for his visa application of $150CAD through his/her mastercard or better still, how did you pay? Since i can't pay more than $100CAD through my first bank mastercard in a month.
Please any alternative
And then, can someone in Canada pay for me, will it make sense to the application and is it possible?
Thank you! Like you said, no Naira debit card can pay. It’s best you get a dollar MasterCard from dollar account or better still you have someone make the payment for you ( it doesn’t affect your application in anyway). Someone should correct me if I’m wrong. |

Rootiab: Good morning everyone. Who here has paid schools fees for Memorial University through form A and it went through? Yeah. Made mine on 2nd April through GTBank, was received by western union on 9th April and it was acknowledged by the school on 20th April. ( it normally takes 5 working days for memorial university to acknowledge the funds after western union transfers the funds to the school which they do same day they receive it. But due to COVID 19 they use 7-10 working days (as per email they sent me).) |

EFEJOKU: Okay. You saying if i defer the admission i might still get the study permit, please i dont understand... Yeah. |

EFEJOKU: . These days it takes longer than a month for study permit to be approved. I would advise you defer the admission to maybe fall 2021 intake ( depending on the program). Just get in touch with your school & defer the admission, & hopefully before then your study permit must have landed. |

Good evening guys, please when you say “upfront medical” does it mean going for medical before submitting your application or going for it after you’ve your application but before the visa officer requests for it ?
Please I need clarification. Thank you |

ToluDstar: Hello,
If you decide to go through the NSE route, then you will be required to submit an IELTS result (both academic and general are acceptable). If not, then you do not need to take IELTS.
It will end in praise. Amen. Thank you |

jizzle01: the NSE stream has requirements to be met, and as long as you can meet that, your application may process faster. There’s also no timeframe to receive NSE request. In the event that you cannot, your application will follow through the normal processing after 30 days.
It would be in your best interest to start preparing for your IELTS test provided you meet other NSE requirements like CAD $30k, etc.
Good luck! Thank you |

lentomac: If you want your application to be processed by IRCC via the NSE route, IELTS is one of the requirements
See link below for more details about NSE route https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/705#97124448
If you want your application to be processed by IRCC via the Normal/Regular route, you don't need IELTS Thank you. Please what’s the success rate of going through the IRCC ? I read online that it takes 90 days to be processed, please how true it is? Apart from the processing time, is there any other significant difference one has to worry about ? |

Ellibaba: Good day guys, 2 days ago I received my MSc acceptance letter from Memorial University Newfoundland. Please I would be very grateful to get assistance from you guys to avoid making mistakes as I am about applying for study permit. Thanks I just finished speaking to an agent and he said I will require IELTS Academic to apply for study permit. N/B: I used Duolingo English Test result in getting the admission. Please can someone tell me if I really require IELTS to secure study permit when I didn’t need it for the MSc application. Thanks |
