afrodoc2: While PEDs would improve performance in most sports there is a difference in levels of this between sports that depend majorly on athleticism and power, like sprinting, cycling, swimming and those that greatly depend on skill like soccer, basketball.
PED use in football definitely exists but there are so many aspects of the game that PEDs can’t affect that it’s utility can’t be compared to what it does in other sports. It won’t improve your dribbling, ball control, passing accuracy, vision, or awareness. It won’t build team spirit or improve the coach’s tactics. Agreed on its effect on football as a sport would likely differ compared to atheletics, but most def if in use by a good talent, the edge in performance will definitely be there. |

wizkitvick: DE GEA'S UNITED FUTURE DEEPLY UNCERTAIN
Our main story this afternoon... Manchester United are no closer to resolving David de Gea's future with the goalkeeper still holding off signing a new deal, Sky Sports News understands.
De Gea is out of contract next summer and can sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January.
The Spain international wants assurances that United will compete for major honours and is also keen to bring his wages into line with other top earners at the club, including Alexis Sanchez. They should offer this guy to PSG. See his mouth like "major honors", he didn't remember major honors when he was doing bonanza? Sell this guy and bring in Cilessen please. DDG has paid his dues, he can kindly leave if it pleases him. |

Leyqute: Only Valencia and Herrera have left. They’re probably waiting to sign new players before letting go of the deadwoods, which doesn’t make sense. Any youth defender would contribute more than Darmian or Rojo from the bench. Really.
Heard talks with Mata have broken down. Seems he doesn’t like the new offer. SMh for those negotiating the deal Make any useless deal break down. Nonsense |

Leyqute: LooL.
Rashford can still come real good. His problem is mental. It’s that Martial that is vexing me. Left to me I’d send him on loan to Al Ahly to get some sense. He’s already vacationing in Egypt, Tfare won’t be much. I just wish it was possible to increase the alleged pay cut for failing to make UCL upto 50%. Overpaid bomboclats!! Wait o, we've not released or sold any player yet? |

PietroRick: Looks like inter cannot go beyond 50m for lukaku. We are not that desperate to have him gone, they can remain in their lane. Lukaku is still a very serviceable striker I don't buy the idea of selling Lukaku, I'd rather have Rashford and Martial sold. |

Leyqute: Yeah.
Almost got sold to Leeds for 10m in January. Heard he’s agreed personal terms with Utd but his transfer fee hsmt been sorted with Swansea.
If Ed pays more than 20 for him, he’s a big phooL. Ed,Edd,Eddy bongo!!! Make we dey see Scenes where the 21 relegated Lazy Martial to the bench |

Leyqute:

James has got a blistering pace and loves running in behind defenders. The only forward who makes run behind defenders currently is Rashford. The others hardly do.
James can also cross with his weaker left foot and he can play on either wings. However he’s still a young chap (21) and I don’t think he’s very consistent. 15m fair deal |

Leyqute: Abi. We can't keep holding on to these aging players especially when they have little to offer. They are blocking the growth of others. I'll prefer to have TFM on the bench than Jones.
If OGS doesn't sell at least 3 of the non-performing players and those mofos who can't even make the bench in this TW, we should forget UCL qualification next season. 5 for starts!!! I don't see the usefulness of Jones, Rojo, Darmian, Sanchez, Mata, Young, better options dey available even for smaller teams |

elampiro2: Even Guardiola still kept Yaya Toure for some time, kept Kompany. Till now he is still keeping Mangala, an average player. He did not come to sweep out players all at once despite inheriting a very deep squad. Keep less, replace more. That's transition. You don't keep washed up players just because you want to maintain squad number. Quality over quantity any day!!! |

afrodoc2: When i say we should release players i am not talking about Pogba. We need to try and keep Pogba, and luckily he still has some years on his contract so United still has some leverage. Pogba will play better with better midfielders around him, and he is our only true top level outfielder.
De Gea's case is different as he has only 1yr left on his contract. Either he extends this summer or we sell him, otherwise he will walk for free in a year's time.
When we say (or at least when i say) release players we are talking about salary vampires like Darmian, Sanchez, Rojo, Bailly, Mata, Valencia. At the end of next season we can continue the process of exorcism by releasing Young, Jones, Smalling. Where's Codedguy1 when you need him, Woodward needs to get this mail. |

elampiro2: Leyqute,
It is simple common sense that we don't even have up to 25 players, and until we are struggling to keep the senior players within the 25 limit, selling doesn't make sense.
You cannot know more than the coach and the board. Until be buy players to improve the senior squad above 25, no need to sell. We should borrow a leaf from City!... Boot out underperforming cvnts and replace them with better options, that's how you improve a team. Why on Earth should we keep aged players who offer little or nothing, with humongous wages? Hope you are factoring they'd be older next season? |
