Have you heard Modric, Kroos, Marcelo and the likes talking trash? They knew they had a disastrous season and they're quiet waiting for next season to bounce back.

I just read City has cooled their interest in Cancelo because they felt he’s overvalued at 44m euros that Juve are asking for.

If we are paying 35-40m for him then cool but definitely not the 60m that is being quoted. Even sky sports are reporting Crystal palace value him at 70m. Leicester is quoting 80m for Maguire.

It seems we are back to where we are last season. Ogun and Amadioha will strike Ed and OGS if they sanction 60m for Maguire.

I have told you guys that Wan Bissaka is poor going forward, and attacking will be half of his job at a club like United. Chilwell, Robertson, Leighton Baines e.t.c didn't have to play for Barca before we knew they were good going forward.
I would rather get Cancelo or Meunier who are more complete on both sides of the ball, more experienced,and cheaper.

I remember sayin gthat Pogba would be a poor fit for the club at the time he was bought, and truth be told the last few years have been basically a waste for both him and the club. You have to buy players who fit into the planned structure of the team, and right now we DESPERATELY need an attacking right back. When next season we are playing Mata ahead of AWB in an impotent right flank people should just not complain.

Lastly we can't set "he is better than Young" as the bar for buying a fullback for 60m, if not we would be buying almost any fullback in the game for 60m.

Have you actually checked their stats? The only thing AWB has over young is his defensive stats. Young beat him in every other thing; Teamplay or attacking wise. Man had 56 crosses in 35 matches last season. 56

I have attached screenshot of some of the CB last season that had equal or better stats than VVD last season. Should we go about buying them at the amount VVD was bought?

Man is playing for Crystal Palace ffs. His defensive stat is definitely going to be high. Why do you think mid table teams keeper usually have high save rate? Likewise defenders, they will have high defensive % because 70% of the time, they will be defending.

Reverse will be the case here as we will need him to join attack more often than not so the offensive stats is equally more important. We are not signing him as CB ffs but as a full back.
