I've never in my life asked a guy for money and i never will. I'm not entitled to his pocket, cuz he's not my husband yet. If he chooses to spend on me that's just out of the benevolence of his heart. If i love a guy, all i want is his undivided love and attention, and all i would want is to keep him company and make him the happiest guy in the world. He doesn't owe me money, neither do i owe him sex. He should be able to add value to me in other ways, mentally, spiritually, morally etc., and so should i.

Truth is, if she's always demanding money from you, you've been demanding sex from her and she doesn't see a future with you. She will suck you dry, empty your destiny and leave. A reasonable girl would want you to save, invest your money and use it to plan your future with her. But most guys only fancy materialistic ladies and then complain women love money. Not all women, it's the spec of women you're attracted to.

Me I can date a broke guy but he must have a decent job and must be willing to keep ascending. He will keep expanding because I'll be praying for him to expand, and i will keep supporting and pushing him till he gets to the top.

So, the ego is the Devil? The devil lives in my head? Wow. This explains why some thoughts i think, i wonder where they come from. I understand now. Okay, wow, so, this means it's not me thinking sometimes, this means i don't have to feel guilty about my thoughts anymore. Since, i can't kill the ego, I'll just ignore him/it. This means i have to be careful of what i feed the ego. What i read, what i hear. To weaken it or him. But how come the ego is louder than the voice of the holyspirit? How come it's so hard to hear the holyspirit?

Not so. Even in the midst of life disturbance, I have chosen to blessed the Lord at all times and to see myself the exact way the Father sees me through the finished work of Jesus Christ.

I guess you've trained your mind to see things that way. This my own stubborn mind has refused training. Sometimes the thing is just thinking on its own like a machine without remote control. Me, I'm just here suffering on the inside, smiling on the outside. All my life mistakes has led me to this point. I shouldn't have backslided. I deserve all these.

I just hope one day i find freedom, and don't tell me i already have freedom, i have all these knowledge on God's grace at the back of my head, but my mind has refused to think it. Me, I'm fed up. The more i fight it, the more i lose. I'm sure God is listening to my impure thoughts. It's me thinking this things, but then again, it's not me. I'm fed up. I don't think i can make heaven because of my evil thoughts.

Sometimes i wonder if i was possessed, but i don't think i was. I wanted to do those things then. Sins i find repulsive rn. But, It was me doing those things, not the devil. I hate my mind and i hate myself for all the foolish decisions i made that led me to this point. I should have made better choices in the first place.

Start with focusing on your in-breathe and out-breathe, notice every sound, movement, thoughts, actions, responses, reactions you make and those of people around you. Make eating your meals a ritual of some sort, slowly chew your food to almost completely liquid state before swallowing, move out into nature to listen to birds sing, insects chirp and the breeze flow. If there's a river near by or a waterbody go listen to the sound of the flowing water, in doing all these things be intensely concentrated on what you're doing at the moment. Take good notice of every detail of each action, sensation, smell, taste, emotion, thought, whatever is going on at each moment...be completely aware of it.

The way is to observe them, listen to them, watch them and love them. Do you really have to fight them? Resisting them only means negation to what 'is', negation is suffering and that's why you get drained of essential energy just because you 'don't' want to think your thoughts. That's why Jesus said to watch and pray, ask yourself "to watch what exactly?"

1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

Luke 21:36 - Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Mark 14:38 - Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Nonawareness is chance your mind is waiting for to take charge and control you, once you are awake there's no problem. Just be awake/aware, leave the thoughts be.

How do you stay awake?

My big sis is an 100% church girl, liiike to the core, not exposed at all, doesn't do social media either, triangular life, church-work-home. Ripe for marriage. Never dated. But I feel she needs to expand her circle cuz fam are already pressuring her for hubby, sometimes i wonder if her husband will come to our house to look for her, because she doesn't attend social gatherings either. I think there should be a balance. Any guy will be lucky to have her, but she is not making it easy for varieties of guys to come and try their luck, so she can choose the best. I feel she needs to stop being invisible, so that she can become visible. As for better marriage, only the ppl inside the marriage know whether their marriage is sweet or not. You can't tell from the outside, but me I know her marriage will be sweet sha.

Thank God you understand. I want to choose what i think, I've been struggling. It's been really hard for me. As i was walking to church today, my mind kept telling me I'm a failure. Why would i want to think this normally?

God is not counting your mistakes against you for he already counted all of it in the body of Jesus Christ our scape goat. It is only foolish to condemn yourself, when God is not condemning you.

You have to believe that God is not condemning you and that through the finish and perfect work of Jesus, you are now the righteousness of God. The key to peace is seeing yourself in your minds eye the way God sees you through the accepted sacrifice of his Son. Grace and peace beloved!

I don't want to condemn myself but my mind which used to be my friend has become my enemy, and is working against my progress with God. It's not easy to just 'think in a certain kind of way' because you asked me to do so. I know all these things. I just can't think them. Jeez, I wish I could just go back to my past to erase it, so, i can just concentrate on the present.

, it's not that easy. I made some mistakes in my past. I know God has forgiven me, but condemnation won't let me move forward with God. Every new day, i get burdened with guilt, regrets, disappointments and fears. The noises in my head is hindering my fellowship with God and i fear i might be stuck in the past forever. I might never be able to enjoy the presence of God like before, when i was lighthearted. I might never be able to genuinely dwell in the secret place. I think i might have ruined my chance of a happy life. My mind is my enemy now, it used to be my friend before i sinned.
