I agree with you. Living a holy life takes a lot of consecration and separation. I tried for two yrs, God used to talk me, i got distracted. I went 'prodigal'. I'm back again sha, but not like before cry

Yes, our best bet is just to believe in God.

Religion is like a game of dice. Nobody has crossed over to give us report of what's on the other side. Better to just play safe. I cannot come and be suffering in this 'hell' of a country as a Nigerian, and die and suffer round two again. God forbid.

I took a college course called "The Bible in Literature form. it was very interrsting and had great points. The Bible is a learning tool, the ten commandments are guidelines on how we are to live our lives, nobody could live up to all of the statures and rules that are given in the bible. Man turned the bible into a religion which it was not written to be. Worship the most high not a book.

Living by the book is a form of worship to God. Our very act of obedience oozes sweet incense unto his altar.

Sometimes i wonder if there is really anything in the after life, but even if there is nothing there and i ended up living wisely and believing that there is, i have nothing to lose than, dieing and realizing there is actually God after denying him.

I studied Sociology, i took a particular course then called 'sociology of religion'.... Damn in the exam, No 1 question was 'Proove that God is dead', i was a church girl before, but this course kinda made me question everything i ever grew up believing, so i turned my back on God. Well, i started living by my own rules but i realized it pays to just live by the good old books. There are no consequences for humility, love, kindness, generosity, gentleness, e.t.c

Agreed What's your own view?We all seek help, solace, companionship in some ways. You have taken the easy route --Religion. It's cool.

I used to be like you. The course i studied in school made me question the existence of God, but after running away from church and living by my own rules, i made costly mistakes that made me realize the essence of religion/spirituality. At the end of the day, all the rules we are supposed to live by is supposed help us to live a wiser life. It's all for our own physical and mental benefit! I'm a lazy Christian but i think it pays to just think good, do good and follow God.

I don't understand why guys believe a non-virgin lady doesn't have the right to opt for celibacy in a relationship, what if she has decided to stay away from fornication because she is willing to make heaven, even though she had fallen into temptations in the past.
