I had my car scanned n found these.... Secondary air pump relay "short to ground" ,intake manifold valve "short to ground" air solenoid valve "short to ground", cylinder 6 "misfire detected but intermittent", my car runs smooth sometimes n doesn't at times. One of d coils on d ignition coil is not supplying current to d plug I noticed n therefore burns carbon. My mechanic said he will have to loose halve of the engine to see what the problem is because 5 out of 6 cylinders r working perfectly except d sixth one.

Solid ride,what abt the parts? Are they available?

jodeci: The diagnostic tool should be part of your work tools,just like multimeter,wrenches,guage,compressors etc. I see no reason why anybody would pay u that amount for just diagnosis.You should also be charging for using ur multimeter to detect an short circuit on the car too without repairs.

I agree wit u bro,dis folks r thieves. A scan only reads fault codes,doesn't repair d car at all n yet dis dudes charge excessively for a diagnosis dat aids their work! Bullshit! Why should I pay 7-10k for a scan wen I can buy one? I dnt patronize dem anymore,I decided to buy one n scan myself.

I drive an automatic v6 quattro american spare n so far for almost 2yrs now I av had no issue on d transmission. U can get a good american spare wit low milleage ranging from N1.1 to N1.3M

I use an audi a6 2000,its a great ride to have. Most nissan cars r problematic dats y u see dem everywhere for sale. If u want a car with great performance,go for an audi.make sure u have a good mechanic also,I mean a volkswagen/audi mech. D parts r not expensive to buy,very okay. I change gear n transmission oil once in 3 months at most 4 even when d oil is still okay.

Fabulous Autos: I bought my Toyota Picnic from UK. When I was getting ridiculous offers which could not even cover the amount I bought it, I converted it at Ladipo. Best decision I've made because its a fuel saver. I've travelled to and fro Port Harcourt with 8 passengers, have travelled to Ibadan with 9 persons, and to Ife. I've infact abandoned my Lexus SUV and I use my converted car everyday to work because it drives like brand new and I've had no problem with it so far. If the conversion was done by a professional who knows his onions, pls go for it. And if you need a godfearing and trustworthy mechanic who will not cut corners and put your life at risk, I have just one person to reccomend. He's well known and well respected at Ladipo and his work speaks for him.

Thanks for ur contribution bro, I actually got an offer to buy a lexus sedan but found out its been converted from right to left but d dealer wldnt agree with me that its a converted car but I stood my ground n he later confessed dat it was actually brought from d uk n converted. Do I still go for such? After d dealer wanted to play a fast one on me?
