DH was the cause of my outburst, I,ve been trying to be strong for a long time despite the stress I go through daily.From taking care of my sick mum and helping her run her business and mine as well to trying to be a good wife. He had varicocelectomy since September and he stopped doing follow up, he won't even go to the clinic always procrastinating. He,s been asked to do SFA since march but he,all tell me he is not psychologically ready. I,m just tired of begging him to go do it as if I,m the only one that needs the child.

Try and make him happy, don't complain and give him his best. If possible pay for the test. Ensure he abstain from sex for three day. Make arrangement with the laboratory before his arrival so that they will not delay him. Put him in prayer that God should touch him. Madam, we need to give birth on time ooooo. Madam, I would like to share my yesterday experience with you. I was at Fertility hospital yesterday which makes it my second visit just for enquiry before I commence my own IVF procedure. The first day of my visit. I saw one matured woman that came all the way from Cameroon to do IVF in Lagos and it fails. She was seriously crying that day and it discourage me for going to the hospital again but my hubby insists that I should visit the place again yesterday to my greatest i surprise, I met the woman again she told me she has done the second IVF and she came for result. My sister. Her result was positive after 20years of waiting even though she used donors agg in the second IVF. Another person that I got her contact through the nairaland, we later met at the fertility center, she told me that they transfer 11embryo to different 11people but only two people came out positive and she was lucky to be the one after 12years of waiting. I also clean my tears because I believe I will share my own testimony too. God will provide the money.

Stress can be part that increase BP. Mine was high too to the extend that I find it difficult to breath well but after so much rest before my operation. It reduce to 130/90

Reduce intake of salt, sleep well but take at least 30mins walk daily.

A healthful diet can help reduce blood pressure.

He made sure he triggered late when my follicles passed d time that research quoted as best(18-20). he triggered when it was 30mm, 32, or 25. and insemination was usually done 39 to 42 hours after. I complained but he never listened. The follicles often end up as cysts cost they were over matured. He then ended up suggesting ivf. I am moving on to ivf but certainly not with him. The IUI patients were also not given attention to like ivf.

The method used will not give you accurate result. All the thing you have been taking will affect your result which include meat and antibiotics. You need to see Urology next week so that it will not affect your health since your marriage is still young. You have two option for your wife to conceive.. First they will operate you to get sperm and your your wife will conceive through IVF
.Secondly, you need to see Urology to correct any damage, you can only no the cause by doing the right test. Very sure from experience that you will need to correct vein Variococele through operation but the operation is minor and you will go home that day. Now my question is can taking antibiotics affect sperm production this seriously ?

Should I repeat the SFA ? If yes, how soon ?

Thirdly if this result is not caused by the use of antibiotics , what should be my next line of action.

Fortly, which kind of specialist should I see ? A urologist or an endocrinologist or d same fertility doctor attending to my wife ?

You need to see Urology urgently. You need do Doppler test, hormone test and FSH. I mentioned it yesterday that the result will not be accurate. Did you stay away from Sex,meat, Alcohol for three days before you proceed for the test?

I have been having sore throat and doctors have placed me on antibiotics for some time now.

Last week, a surgery was scheduled for me to remove the neck mass (Thyroglosaal duct cyst )

The surgery was successful but during stitching, the doctors folded part of my skin out,

When the stitches were removed, that part of the skin folded out got infected.

I have been placed on antibiotics for about 10 days .

Mid way into d use of the antibiotics, my wife's fertility clinic told her to tell me they need my semen analysis.

My question is : will my recent surgery and post surgery antibiotics treatment affect the SFA parameters ?
