Mummyimbecile:Those areas mentioned are very good. I lived in Greensboro for 5 years before moving to Charlotte. I have friends in Raleigh. I've also worked in Raleigh before for a year. Overall, NC is great. |
Hello House, Please does anyone know of any cheap hospital in Georgia, Atlanta? Something within the price range of Oakbend medical center in Houston. Thank You. |
@Motherloventina, Don't get worked up. My cousin was in a similar situation even though her own wasn't suspension. She was sacked..........VO asked why was she in South Africa for 4 months while she has a job. All she said was that she was on a training from office...........Trust me the crowed in the embassy is too much for the VO to pick phone to call or verify. No time..........Madam, you have no problem. motherloventina: |
Hello House, I currently have a valid B1/B2 visa but planning to apply for an F1 visa. I am married with a kid (US citizen). I don't know whether to bring my wife to the US on her B1/B2 Visa and then change status to F2 when she gets to the US. What if her F2 get rejected, would she still be able to come to US on her visitor visa or does her visitor visa gets rejected too? Kindly advise Also, if i get denied F1 visa, what happens to my valid B1/B2 visa.? |

I will like to know if my visiting visa guarantees the success of my F1 Visa and i will also like to know what will happen to my B1/B2 Visa if i am denied F-1 Visa? Does it get canceled ? |

I just got back from Houston, Texas. My wife just had a baby there............i was able to visit some schools during my visit and so i am thinking of applying for an F-1 (Student)Visa. I heard some things which i will like to confirm from you all. 1. That my B1/B2 visa doesn't guarantee me an F-1 visa. 2. That my B1/B2 visa will be canceled even if i get denied of F-1 visa. Lastly, will u suggest i just go back to US with my B1/B2 visa and change my status to F-1(Student) visa......... I know its very legal based on the info i got from USCIS( United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) website http://www.uscis.gov/working-united-states/students-and-exchange-visitors/students-and-employment/special-instructions-b-1b-2-visitors-who-want-enroll-school . Thank You |

peaceful22:Hello everyone, this is for everyone who is in Peaceful22 situation and thinking of sending a letter of intent to the US embassy......... Below is a copy of the reply i got from the US embassy yesterday after sending a letter of intent:............... " Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that there is no legal requirement to inform us that you are seeking to give birth in the United States or that your purpose of travel has changed. The Customs and Border Protection, a branch of USCIS, determines a traveler’s eligibility of entry to the U.S, you should be prepared to demonstrate to the immigration officer at the port of entry why you are seeking medical treatment and that you have logistical and financial plans for the treatment. We recommend that you review the regulations on non-immigrant aliens entering the United States for purposes of childbirth at https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/882/~/visit-the-u.s.-while-pregnant-and-the-risks-involved and plan accordingly. Please you should not stay in the U.S. longer than you are permitted by Customs and Border Protection at the port of entry. The Department of Homeland Security at the port of entry will determine your eligibility to enter the United States on any travel. If you choose to give birth in the U.S., we advise you to bring evidence of payment, both when you enter the U.S. on this visit, and at your future U.S. visa interviews. Sincerely, cid:image001.gif@01CF57EF.0B4BC8F0 Correspondence Unit (TOO) US CONSULATE GENERAL LAGOS, NIGERIA This email is UNCLASSIFIED. " @Peaceful22, I hope this answers your question. |

Hello guys. I am planning to go for my Diploma or Advance Diploma in Canada in Information Technology. I just got married and i have few questions: 1. Will you advice i go for a 1 year program or 2 years program? 2. Are married applicants allowed to travel with their partners? If yes, what type of visa will be issued to my wife? Also, We both have a valid US visa and does that guarantee me getting a TRV? Hope to read from you guys soon. Happy new month. |
Here are some ways the VO can easily know you are so desperate: 1. When you are so eager to show the VO your documents: US embassy rarely check for documents and if they have any reason to doubt you, the VO will demand to see them. When i went for my US visa interview, the Lady at window 2 kept telling a man ....."Mister, i will tell you if i need to see your documents"...... i am sure we all know the end of the story #Denial2. Try and keep your answers short: When you keep saying what you were't asked or you give too much of info, it sends wrong signals to the VO. It shows you wanna impress which is a big sign of desperation. Lastly, we always misuse the word "Vacation". If you are married and you are not going with your wife, biko say you are going to spend you annual leave in the US. These white guys value vacation and family. Vacation is more appreciated when its with your family. |

Mofella: We give You glory Lord as we worship You.....@Mofella, congrats |
Egomah: Congregation, what were the ties you stated? Can one use a personal house document as a landed tie, even when there's no C/O?You don't state your ties because time no dey neither will the vo ask you for your ties. When you start saying what you are not asked, it only shows you wanna impress the VO, which shows that you are desperate. The VO will know your tie to your country from the questions he ask you. He can then ask to see proof if he doubt you. My friend got his 2yrs visa despite the fact that he only strolled into the embassy with his passport, confirmation letter and appointment letter. He was asked for his bank statement, he said he left it in his car at the embassy car park when he was rushing to the embassy. As for me, my only tie is my job and my wife. The Vo asked why is my wife not going with me (....Even though she got her US visa from the UK). Told the Vo she just got a job here in lagos and she isn't entitled to a leave yetv(Dat's a tie)...........I guess that made the vo feel i still have every reason to come back to naija. My View about this C of O and blah blah is not a big deal to me because this white guys are not even ready to check your documents. Your answers to a question determines the next he's gonna ask u. I am only saying this to encourage those that feels because they don't have properties, they can't get a US visa. Infact, a common NYSC is a tie. While i was waiting for my turn to be interviewed last week, the vo at window 9 denied like 11 people. This 11 people includes the wife of a VC of a university dat just got back from uk last week, a medical doctor going for a conference sponsored by LUTH, an HIV-looking girl (God forgrive me ) going for surgery after already paying $22,000. Let me now blow ur mind, the only guy he gave a visa was a boy in dreadlocks on a native wear who said he just graduated from school and going to stay with his elder brother till his NYSC Call-up letter is out. At that point, i knew my visa sure die.Moral Lession : Anybody can get a US Visa. Just be audible and be confident............Pls don't get me wrong o. A vo who is having a bad day can ruin an applicants chances of getting a visa (God factor ). The guy that interviewed me was just dashing out visa that day and he was busy laughing and playing with kids. It's all about God. |
kuzeh: HI,Hello, I just sum up courage and went for the interview like that. |
Mofella: Greetings. Pls do I have to upload a passport photograph to my Ds-160 form online. Quick response pls@Mofella, u don't have to upload it. U can go with two passport photo of the embassy's specification. Also there are photographers at the Embassy (Lagos) car park. I took mine there on friday and it cost N1,500 for 6 copies. Wish u all the best. |
I could see the shock on her face as she said "absolutely". Na so I jump enter the wheelchair.
