I was going through the thread and there was a lot of pain and struggle, I guess it's nothing to be surprised about. The thing is, they have a commonality. There was a Russian physicist who claimed to discover how the universe works and wrote a really big book about it called reality transurfing. In it he describes a lot of things, and I'll like to mention one of them which seems to be very common, and that's the Idea of excess importance. Have you ever noticed how people often attract the very thing they’re trying to escape? The one who fears loneliness ends up in relationships that make them feel invisible. The one desperate for money keeps meeting setbacks and scarcity. The one who wants peace often finds themselves surrounded by chaos. It’s not that life is cruel — it’s that life mirrors what we energize the most. Whenever we give something excess importance, we create an imbalance in our inner state — a kind of energetic “charge.” And because nature always seeks balance, life responds by bringing the opposite pole into play. The person who fears poverty gives it power — every thought of lack becomes a silent request. The person who worships success with desperation attracts delay and resistance. The one who obsesses over being loved often draws people who confirm their fears instead. It’s not punishment — it’s balance. The world doesn’t respond to words like “I want” or “I hate.” It responds to feeling. And the heart doesn’t distinguish between positive and negative emotion — it only feels intensity. So when we spend our days emotionally charged by worry, fear, or frustration, we unknowingly send out a powerful signal — one that calls back experiences carrying that same emotional tone. That’s why it seems like we attract our opposites. The ambitious meet the passive. The kind meet the ungrateful. The driven meet delay. It’s not random — it’s resonance. Let me give an example: Let's see someone is like oh I have money and people are suffering so I want to help them. Nature doesn't understand people suffering but you to see that thought and energy you give at excess importance and so it's like there is a charge that is too much here and so we need to balance it with something that removes it. So the generous man attracts someone that takes advantage of him, does so use like people are wicked and ungrateful I will never help anyone again. This nature restores balance. The more importance we attach to something, the more the world moves to neutralize it. And the more we resist what we dislike, the more life reinforces it. So when things go wrong, the question isn’t “Why is this happening to me?” It’s “Where have I placed too much importance?” Often, what we need isn’t to fight harder, but to release the tension — to stop charging our reality with desperation, control, or emotional weight. When we stop demanding so much from life, life begins to respond. When we stop seeing ourselves as victims or heroes in constant struggle, balance returns naturally. You don’t have to force outcomes — reality unfolds around the quality of your inner state. If that inner state is peace, peace reflects. If it’s tension, tension reflects. What's the solution? Not fight, but to go with the flow, set and intention and rid oneself of desire and importance. Of course there's a lot more, but perhaps this will get you started. Oh, in case I forgot to mention, the world reflects you relationship to it, like a mirror. For example saying you hate poverty and you want money doesn't bring money to you, the world will reflect, your hate, of poverty, and your want of money, that is the nature of the mirror. If you were to say instead I am rich and have money................, that's a start. |
breadtoaster:Sister, I want to say thank for sharing this, because I have my own struggles and I'm trying to understand something, and your situation gives it more clarity. I'll tell you what someone told me, there are laws that govern the universe, that if you abide by them, everything gets easier, and if not, the it gets hard. I want to try to explain what might really be going on here. I’m not deeply into “new-age” ideas, and I don’t accept everything that comes from that space. But I’ve noticed that some of the principles, especially those that have a logical or even scientific explanation, hold some truth. One such idea is that things don’t just happen on the physical level — there’s also what we might call a metaphysical or energetic layer to our reality. Our thoughts, emotions, and desires affect that layer. When we strongly desire something, we give it excess importance. This creates an energetic imbalance — like a charge — in the field of life around us. And nature, by its own laws, always seeks balance. So, when we hold on tightly to something, life starts to find a way to neutralize that imbalance. You mentioned your ambitions — your drive, your goals, your need to push forward. That energy of ambition carries strong importance. Life, in response, brings a counter-force to balance it — and that might very well be what your husband represents: the opposite pole. Now, at first glance, you might think, “If I’m ambitious and he’s passive, maybe we balance each other.” But it often doesn’t work that simply. Instead, the contrast becomes friction — “I’m this, he’s that,” “I’m trying, he’s not,” and so on. The more attention and emotional charge we give to this difference, the more it grows. Here’s the key: the heart doesn’t recognize negative or positive — it only responds to intensity of feeling. So even if you’re frustrated or angry, the energy you’re putting out is still charged with feeling, and life reflects that. The conscious mind gives meaning to things — “this is good,” “this is bad” — but the world doesn’t respond to those labels. It mirrors what we feel most intensely. That’s why, when we hate a situation or obsess over what we don’t want, it tends to persist. This doesn’t mean you should suppress your emotions or pretend things are fine. It means you should release the excessive meaning you’ve given to them. Because whenever we over-identify with a desire or an emotion — whether ambition, frustration, or even resentment — we give it too much weight, and life reacts to neutralize it, often in uncomfortable ways. So what can you do? You don’t need to go to extremes or deny what’s happening. Instead, begin by reducing the importance you place on it. Shift your attention away from what you dislike and toward what brings you peace. Your reality reflects the state of your inner world — the quality of your attention. If you can stay centered and cultivate inner peace regardless of what’s happening, your world will gradually reflect that peace. Focus on joy, calm, creativity, and purpose. These states radiate energy that naturally attracts more of what aligns with them. You might ask, “How can I be at peace when my situation feels this difficult?” The truth is, it’s not the situation itself that keeps you stuck — it’s the meaning your mind attaches to it. When you stop treating it as something catastrophic, its power over you weakens. I’m not saying your challenges aren’t real — but peace begins when you stop assigning so much emotional importance to what’s wrong and start nurturing the feeling of what’s right, even if it’s small. It’s almost miraculous how life rearranges itself when we shift our inner focus from resistance to calm awareness. I’ve seen it myself — not perfectly, but enough to know it works. So if there’s one thing I hope you take from this, it’s this: The excessive importance you’ve placed on your ambitions and your frustrations has created an energetic imbalance — and your husband, in a way, reflects that opposite pole. To restore harmony, don’t fight him or the situation. Release the excess meaning. Turn your attention inward — toward peace, joy, and clarity. Life will begin to balance itself around that. So much I can say, but let me stop here |
Kalulu44:Don't take it so serious, ask him what he thinks about the message, and share your understanding with him. |
Factcheck0001:Most of the things you mentioned are brick and mortar. Does he not have skills for online, even if it's freelance |
Please don't listen to superstitions Even if he did something worng, there are people that are doing at lest 10x worse and nothing is happening to them. He just need to learn how to leverage his time and energy in the right places. |
Factcheck0001:Why doesn't he learn a digital skill Damolux01 from Nairaland: "Only lazy and indolent teacher die by hunger. There are lots of digital skills teachers can profit from. When parents pay less than the value given, salaries aren't as such meant to be huge. Teachers of this age should learn skills like Ghostwriting, Online teaching, Proofreading etc." https://www.nairaland.com/8499314/experienced-teachers-needed-reputable-school#136519085 |
Suunnn:We have a lot, but there are principles, rules to the game to life. To summarise it, it's like an if....then system If we do this, then this will happen.... But because we don't understand, we play blindly and trigger outcomes that are not in our favour. I might post about it |
eepeepook:But you had time to reply Lol |
SuperOnyi:If writing is not a problem for you, you can consider ghostwriting for others. But focus on one thing |

Could this be what has been causing the account terminations?

Senkasa:No idea, experiment I go to create ebook though |
SuperOnyi:The short answer, to rid of poor book and increase quality. Put yourself in their shoes what is Amazon's goal? It is simply to make profit, for them to do that they need quality books. But when people see an opportunity to make money they are going to try to to just start and that will involve putting a lot of low quality books. The fact is not many people will give the time and effort required to publish a quality book, and when they are thinking about the money, just publish whatever can make them money fast. If Amazon had a way to magically identify people that will publish quality books they will do that, but because they can't they have to rely on what they have. As more people are entry into Amazon and with the event of AI, the fact is there are more trash than quality books, and if their customers cannot identify the quality from the trash is going to hurt their pocket. Imagine if Amazon becomes known as a place where there are bad books, how much it will hurt their pocket? That will be a big blow to them, financial wise. The fact there they are still Nigerians publishing means they are willing to give chance, but they will still curate bad books. They get stricta and stricta any sign of an author who is not going to write bad books is going to be banned and removed. Again put yourself in their shoes they are trying to make money by marketing quality books which customers will read and like. And so on, I can keep going but I think you get the point. The thing is if Amazon believes that you will produce quality book that their customers will enjoy, then the last thing they will do is ban you. |
SuperOnyi:Do it, was thinking of the same thing also. So this is a good sign. |
SuperOnyi:It didn't, the thread is inspiring. Sometimes when you're down, you see what others are going through, it gives you a boost to push on. I thought you might need something like that also |
SuperOnyi:Have you read this post, I think you'll find it inspiring https://www.nairaland.com/5780636/lost-job-girlfriend-dumped-me |
cheehummer:In this age of AI, no idea If you can browse through freelance sites like fiver and see what's available. Another thing that comes to mind is building connections, I heard someone say how people are like the best resources you can ever have. If you find the right ones. But it's a challenge, I no go lie. |
SuperOnyi:As long you're alive it is not over. Look for somebody that doesn't have anything to do with kdp like a student or a worker who has valid details use that person's details all of it to open a new account change everything let nothing relating to you be there a new email name passport everything. Basically it is somebody opening an account with his own honest details and you using it to publish your own books. Make sure this time to be as honest as possible, and work with that. If you need someone to do that for you, work something out with him. No labour is better than kdp, so just try again. KDP are not targeting you, they are just looking out for their customers, so if you can make them money 💰, they won't reject. |
CXLVII:What typing said, it's pretty much a luxury item. For a fraction of that price, you could have gotten a good and reliable us/UK used, and in the hands of a 10 year old, you wouldn't notice a difference. Well, if you can afford it! |
CXLVII:This is overkill to me. 10 years, with a premium laptop. |
Is it plastic or paper 📜 Try using another device preferably pc Then you can try another means to ID |
But questions Research, Google and YouTube Then practice |
Bea1234:There's no hard rule as long as you are not breaking any of the rules, just treat it as an experiment, trial and error. don't expect your first book to make it even if it happens, but see it as you'll be writing a lot of books and learning along the way it's a journey. |
Bea1234:Sorry, have been offline, hope you had the issue solved |
Bea1234:Yes you can The difference shouldn't be soo much though else you can just republish as a 2nd/revised edition |
SuperOnyi:Okay |
SuperOnyi:removed what? |
SuperOnyi:Yes I did, but it was someone that helped sorry i'm not really active, can be distracting If you want you can send me a message, make it easier As for what to do, keep grinding You make your money by making Amazon money, that's just how it is Now it's low, but they pay you a lot more that some hospitals pay their doctors Focus on writing more books |
SuperOnyi:Yes, something like that How, will you pay, I was thinking with a card, ut i'm not sure |
SuperOnyi:That's different for everyone Think of how much you want - Your SHORT-TERM needs Think how much you'll need to have them covered When you feel you're in a good enough situation you can breath Then you can think more clearly and look for what how to grow your cash By the way, what were you going to use to pay for amazon ads? |
