It's not news the need for money, we see people begging, some people asking for help, others presenting their certificates looking for work. There is a lot of opportunity to make money if people are willing to be creative, sadly, that is something that’s hardly taught anywhere, and what i’ll like to discuss about.
The problem is there is a big misunderstanding between the goal and the means by which we fulfill the goal. By creativity, I mean that if you dial in on the goal, then you can be flexible with the means to reach it, and can do so in a way that is more suitable for your situation and what you are able to do at your current moment. So what am I talking about?
The goal is to make money, that’s the final objective, the means is going to school, learning a skill, asking people, etc. Now boil it down to it’s first principles, what’s common between all these? It’s getting people to give you money. Now ask why do people give money? What do they hope for? Here’s the thing, PEOPLE GIVE MONEY TO HAVE THEIR PROBLEM SOLVED.

Think about all the things that made you to give somebody money; to travel, eat, snack, a laptop, clothe, house, and so on. All these things are common in the sense that they solve problems, big or small, in other words, you gave money in exchange for what will solve problem, which is known as value. In summary, the way to get money is for people to give you, and people usually give money in exchange for a value that solves their problem.
If people see something as valuable, they’ll be willing to pay money because people want their problem solved. When you perceive something as valuable and at the right price, you don't really care about the money what you care about is the value you are receiving in return that is the case with everybody.

If you can understand this then you can see why the current education system and people looking for certificates and going for a job applications is not as valuable as it once was, and it’s not the only way, rather you can be creative, because all you need to do is to create value. Imagine if someone could cure cancer, create a better alternative to fuel, fix broken marriages, you think people won’t buy because he doesn’t have a certificate?
Here’s the interesting part, if you’ve understood what i’ve said so far, then understand that you can create a value that solves people's problem, based on something that you are passionate about, so you’re making money whilst doing what you love and enjoy. Next in sha Allah, i’ll be giving some examples.

You said you're a counselor, motivational speaker, inspirational writer and an upcoming writer, yet you're looking for money
and the way you do that is to go to school so you get a certificate, i assume you'll use to find a job and get paid

2 questions to ask yourself:
What's the use of your certificate?
Why do people give money?

Money is a medium by which people exchange value
Value is something that solves a problem.
The people who make the most money, solve the biggest problems; think apple, dangote, oil companies.

You want to get a certificate so someone sees it as credibility, so he can employ you to help him solve his problem, which he'll pay you for
Meanwhile, you were solving problems for many people and doing it for free.

In case you can't see, you already have what it takes to generate income, i assume you just don't know how to sell
By sell, i mean get people to pay you for a problem you can already solve.

In other words, use your skills of counseling, speaking and writing to solve problems for people and get paid.

Yes you are, plagiarism is copying something word for word and calling it your own,
many publishers do that and still get away with it by rephrasing the word.
there's no way someone will right something similar to you word for word

Com (no spacing)... What matters is choosing that right categories, and give your book free 5 days promotion immediately after publishing, if you are lucky someone drop a 5 ⭐ good reviews, you secure a good position rankings as long as the sales momentum keep increasing which is giving your reader value by writing a good book. Not pamphlet as many does. You can run ads too. Thanks

How do you do about grammar and proofreading? Customers usually company about that, but as I'm thinking about it, I think it was when I use that Kindle create software to make a book that they complained about errors.

If you can't afford a mentor, you can always go the free route. Think of mentor as paying with money and free as paying with time

why don't you search on YT, try 'how to add pictures to microsoft word(2007 if need)'
if you know how to use it, canva will be more better with embedding pictures
if you need something offline, then i'll say scribus.
They shouldn't be too hard if you know your way around computer

No, especially for a beginner, you'll have better luck buying hot keywords from people who will sell it to you.
That being said, you want to focus on being good at what you do, which will take time, we're talking 6 months to a year without coaching, like i used to think you can't shortcut this, but i really don't know anyone that has.

Me, my first 4 books we're complete failure, they were still others, but anyways
now's not the time to be trying to use tools, start with the manual, if they aren't working, you're doing something wrong.

(then insert a link taking them to amazon review page of your book, i don't know how to do that, but it makes it easier)

You can insert pictures in any book if you know how

At the end, it all comes down to whether your readers enjoyed your book or not

- Ask them in your book to leave a review, just like people as to 'like' their YT videos
- Look for your audience/readers, fb groups, forums, bond with them and direct them to your book, asking to leave a review
- There are sites dedicated to leaving reviews and rating, but i think you have to pay
- Search youtube.

Grey is still working bro, it give you EUR $ and GBP accounts, and you can choose anyone to submit to amazon. Careful where you get your info from.

KDP normally sends notification of failed payments. Besides the payment should have dropped before the day Grey said their old accounts stopped functioning.

I'm having the same problem, like penny said, perhaps it was reversed with no notification sent.

I complained to grey and they said the bank said the transaction failed and will be sending a manual reversal within 14 days.

But then, I saw that the payment for us arrived, 6 days after the maximum 5 days, without any notification, so now I don't know about the rest, cause I was expecting a reversal.

But Amazon told me that the money has been sent and may take additional time, but I can contact them after 5 days and they can trace the money.

My guess is the money is in transit.

Did anyone get payment notification from kdp recently? Looks like it's a little too early

No, the account is for sending the money, payoneer is just one of many means.
Further more, you're thinking far ahead, if you serious, go step by step. The first step for you is probably opening an account.

In that case, look around for someone who you think can help, then contact the person and work something out. If you're interested in someone that's gone far, it's going to cost a lot. Depending on what you can afford, if you're looking for free, then it's research (Google, YouTube and asking questions), just don't expect see results soon. Free just means you're paying with your time, and it'll cost a lot of time.

You might be able to, though it's a long process. I think the founder mentioned something about it once in my email I'm not sure, but he was saying the best option is for the receiver to have his own grey account.

There are several options, and what's important is a format that best represent how the book was designed and format.
Whatever format you use
Kindle will be read in epub and book will be printed in PDF. if you try to use a different format, the file will still be converted to the final format and some changes which you don't want my take place and spoil reading. so it's best to submit it in it's final format.

People usually start with an idea, and that's not where to begin, it's actually the end. A business is solving a problem for people, and that's where you want to start.
Think Uber transporting people to where they want to go without cramping themselves in public rides, restaurant providing food for people rather than having to cook it themselves, jumia providing goods for people without the stress of going to the market and it's wahala.
All these are solving people's problem. So instead of thinking of an idea, focus on a specific group of people, understand their problem, then the solution to their problem will be your idea.
Most beginners start with an idea, that isn't really solving a problem for people, and that's how their business fails.

grammarly has plagiarism checker, though it's the paid version. But it's accurate.

The people in power and those they care about are not the ones suffering from the insecurities. In fact some of them have their own personal gains in it, that's why I don't bother taking any drastic measures, so there may even be worse but due to their influence their ways are more coded

Bro, if you're asking for explanation, that's already a problem, what he gave are tools to make the work easier, not do the work. asking what to do is like asking how to use a calculator

you should already know what to do and then just by seeing the topic, you will know how to use them. if you don't know then you're probably a beginner and you need to start at your level, there are two options ; use the free things, they are threads explaining how you start, or you speed up the process by looking for somebody that can mentor you are you paying him your return.

Not to sound mean, but we all have our levels and we're trying to go further up, that's life. If we're at a the high level and somebody is lower asking for help trying to help the person or help those kind of people just brings one down, a professor won't go and teach in secondary School.

The tools I.L has given is already a big help and if you need more you can go and research, Google and YouTube will answer most questions from beginner all the way to advanced. If you're asking him to help you 2 years later, you're only helping yourself and not helping him and it's not a fair trade. That's just how it is.
