This media is bias, how do you report how the fund was earlier mismanaged and not how the government correct itself by using it wisely for social intervention and infrastructure. The US and other government have ensured a system of avoiding the era of mismanagement is put in place before the release of all this fund during the Buhari era. These guys are half baked journalist |

Politics / Namadi Sambo: I am a better Muslim n PDP is Islamic party by Emdion(m): 6:39am On Jan 22, 2015 |
Hear from Namadi Sambo PDP was the most Islamic Party because first nobody can be more Muslim than him. Why? Because his name is Namadi which is a derivative of Namadina, meaning some one of the Medina in Saudi Arabia where the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is buried ( typically some one born in Medina in the course of Hajj is given that name before pregnant women are disallowed from going to Hajj). And that he goes to Hajj every year. Also all the security chiefs of Jonathan are Muslims so those alleging Jonathan being behind Boko Haram are not fair. He rolled out names: Defence Minister, Aliyu Gusau, NSA, Sambo Dasuki, Inspector General of Police, Abba are all Muslims. Then he capped it: do you know the running mate of Buhari? He is a Christian and a pastor. He runs a Church. He belongs to a Church conglomerate that has over 5000 churches Across Nigeria. (I had hoped that Adeboye was listening). So who is more Muslim than him Namadi? Then he shouted Allahu Akbar (Allah is great several times). To close his speech he recited the AlFatiha, meaning The Opening, the first seven verses of the Holy Quran, which for Muslims is the Mother of the Book, highly reverred by all. It's clear that the PDP was all out to manipulate the religious sentiments of the Kano people. The emphasis he placed from the manner he jumped and raised his voice about a pastor who is Buhari's running mate was for me alarming. Then I wonder is it not the PDP that was tagging APC as an Islamic party? So it's just a convenient ploy to divide Nigerians along religious lines? I had hoped that some one translated his speech to Jonathan who was seated there to learn that now his party is the quintessential Muslim party and not the APC. Surely Change is coming to Nigeria in a matter of days. Recall that Namadi said and behaved exactly the same way during their raLky in a Katsina and Jigawa States. Perhaps we should find a way to get the PDP to account for this without offending religious sensibilities. And also to call the attention of INEC and Kofi Anan to the violation of the electoral Act and the Accord signed between Presidential candidates regarding refraining from religious politics and focussing on Issue Based politics. 1 Like |

Gej said office of the First Lady does not spend government money. So the money patience used to host all African First Lady was from her pocket? The money she is using to build a befitting office for herself was from a tree abi Some people think Nigerians are as clueless as them 1 Like |
Politics / Re: 2015 Presidential Elections :: The Dilemma Of The Average Nigerian by Emdion(m): 9:57pm On Jan 11, 2015 |
The worst of GMB will be better tha Gej rule. If u believe Gej is ruling u are on a long thing. This govt don't have taste for appointment of good persons. I can't imagine FFK Okupe n abati for another 4 years. Abeg, ur message is dead on arrival We vote you out. Not because there is a better alternative but so that incompetent leaders will know and fear the people's ability to elect, select and deselect. Why should we endure another 4 years simply because we fear the unknown. If the unknown comes in and performs at the same level or worse, we vote them out as well. And so on until our leaders start to lead. 10 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Questions For Buhari And APC by Emdion(m): 3:17pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
In channels interview , he said they will liaise with other OPEC member to stabilise the oil price. This will come in form of reviewing production quota, changing market strategy etc. also fighting corruption will make available much money which can be use to fund its program. Boost the non oil revenue tax to make available more funds( I no a lot of PDP chieftains that their vat returns in their various companies is less than 7% of actual amount they are liable to pay) Then for naira devaluation, build refinery and stop subsidy fraud in other to reduce pressure on the naira. Also improve local production to reduce dependence on importation. I got all this info frm reviewing their manifesto |

3. If u have a boss that doesn't tolerate lateness in office, you will try and avoid it by all means. Same with corruption, if the president and his vice has strong stance against corruption the ministers and other subordinate will try and avoid it by all means because they no the consequence will not be spare for them by their leader. |
Politics / Re: Questions For Buhari And APC by Emdion(m): 2:56pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
I will try to ans ur question above with the mind that u re sincere with ur questions They say extraordinary people do ordinary things in an extraordinary ways. The problem with the present govt is the approach used in tackling all this issues. 1. Fight against terrorist: the current govt approach was to allow it to escalate since they can easily blame it on opposition and have a smooth ride for election. But they miscalculated. You don't politicise war against terrorist The current situation is that they send 1000 soldier to the war front but 300 soldiers were actual soldiers doing the fight while 700 soldiers are ghost soldiers which the Ogas collect their allowance to line their pocket. So their is sabotage which is as result of same corruption. This only happen because the Cin C lead the war from the back. Buhari will lead from the front by ensuring that the soldiers moral is busted and also will be ready to fight for their country instead of abandoning weapon for the militants. Also, he will recruit and train local citizens of the area since they no much better about the area( this has already been suggested by Atiku). |

Politics / Amaechi And Tinubu Will Hinder Buhari's Anti Corruption War by Emdion(m): 9:13am On Jan 07, 2015 |
You said Amaechi and Tinubu will hinder Buhari's Anti Corruption war: I agree with you that Amaechi and Tinubu plus Atiku may recoup there contribution for Buhari campaign when Buhari get to power Lets do mathematics here, just the normal addition and subtraction. You didn't even mention Bukola Saraki who else do we include, hmmmm lets say all the abokis that contribution all their 100 nairas. As for the PDP; we have Anenih, bode gorge, Arthur Eze, the Ubas, Akpabio, Daizeni Madueke and all subsidy fraudsters, Alameiseigha, Asari, Tompolo, not forgetting mama peace herself. Can we now do the addition and subtraction and also given the factor among the two candidates (buhari and Gej) who can easily be influence. Lets bring out the final result here. Fence sitting is not acceptable this time, if you want a reason or basis of taking your foolish decision, let it not be based on the error of your miscalculation. Don't give a dog a bad name just to hang it. |

Politics / Governor Fashola D Poor Must Not Die by Emdion(m): 3:02pm On Sep 14, 2011 |
Governor fashola d poor must not die. A lot of nigerians can not afford "not 2 work a day". Yaba market has been close for 3wks an still counting. We know dat 1 trade die in kai custody. We also undastand dat kai office was attack by traders in yaba. But while shud thousands of people suffer d sin of less than 1% of dem. We condemed d attack on kai. But hw abt d excess of dis kai official. Besides extorting d innocent traders of der money an valuables, they also force dem into delivery monthly N1000 per head. I know many restaurant dat dis kai official eat, drink an still collect change witout paying. D extortion of dis kai official is of d highiest order. Most bizes in yaba ar legal an done legally. Before d destruction of tejuosho market, their was no street trading. The fact is dat a lot nigerians cant afford not to work in a day most especial in lagos. Hw long wil d masses keep suffering in name of dis madness. If d govt close d market 4 d attack on kai officials, wat abt checking d excess of dis official. There is no justification 4 resulting to violence, but d people will react when der's too much of oppression. Oppressing d masses aint d way, retrainning their official an changing their orientation because most nigerian feel power can only b use to oppress. Closing d market will also pose security threat to lagos. D peace enjoy in lagos may change if dis injustice continue.aba ar legal an done legally.
