stynhaq: But they said South Korea wasn't a valid destination? What's up with Nigerian politics, nothin like politics, they didnt include it at first cos the deadline from d s/korean scholarship body was very close....by March 31st d required docs should be in s/korea. They later included it for those who can meet up with d requirements with the short time available. They could have saved a lot of time by just updating their website. |

rapturesypha: Hello everyone. i got informed dat s/korea hav started selection. and i was asked to get a few of my documents ready against next week. for those that were awarded the scholarship how do i go about gettin my study and research proposal done cos aint got the slightest idea of what it shud look like. any response wud be highly appreciated u should try googling it. Study plan/research proposal is a standard requirement for s/korean schools. U might see a couple of samples. Am a prospective student bt from what i've read research proposal is mainly for PHD candidates(i could be wrong tho). Bt if u have a research topic in mind include it cos it will boost ur chances. Here are the guidelines a korean school included in an application form for study plan/research proposal (maybe it might help): - Goal of study, - title or subject of research, - detailed study plan. - Future plan after study. Where are you to submit the reqd docs pls?? N.B: no much time so hurry. |

cremeandchic: Hi everyone, i just thought i should share this. Well, someone already mentioned it up there but i'll emphasize.
If u are finding it difficult getting jobs on Freelancer or you don't really dig the bidding system, go and register on www.fiverr.com.
I guess most people already know what fiverr is but for those who don't, its a micro-job website that allows you earn $5( actually, you get $4 because fiverr takes a 20% cut and at the end of the day, you are only left with $4.
Don't let the amount fool you, you can actually earn way more than $5 for one service through a feature known as 'gig extras'. I have earned $10 for a 500 word article that took me less than 30 mins to write several times.
Its also up to you what you want to sell for $5. If you feel like you can write 3,000 words for $5, by all means, take the stand. And if you feel what you are worth is $5 for a 100 words, no problem; you'll still find customers who are looking for your calibre of services.
Also, you are allowed to sell up to 20 different services; so you see, it's not just writing alone you would be selling. If theres any other thing you are good at, just look around fiverr and see if its something thats in demand.
People make money from 'completely silly' things on fiverr. "i'll wink at you for $5 dollars", i'll make a wish come true for $5" and people are actually buying these gigs.
So, go on register on Fiverr and start promoting your gig. Please remember to optimize your gig too.
If you have any questions, ask here and i'll reply as time permits. If you want one on one training, send me a mail on cremeandchic @gmail.com but its not free (make una no vex abeg, time is money and from experience, people don't take free things serious). But i would advise you to ask your questions here so that everyone can benefit and others who have experience on Fiverr can chip in a few points too.
I hope this helps someone.
Have a great weekend y'all. it would ve great if u can help out with a list of other hot-selling gigs, that is apart from writing. |

On the other hand almost ALL d political jobbers, grassroots politicians, and thugs who matter most, both for canvassing of REAL votes and rigging dont have social media accounts. |

jpphilips: Gej was not the President in 2008 wake up!
Nigeria under GEJ is loosing over 400,000bbls of crude daily as alleged by Soludo and confirmed by Shell.
Entertain yourself here: thenationonlineng.net/new/thieves-steal-n7-3b-oil-daily/
Jonathan is responsible for the accruing loss in revenue. when oil was at $115 that loss is $46,000,000 Daily.
Are you still worried why we couldn't save during the rainy days? oh! the thieves are invisible, meanwhile two of Jonathan's c0ck mates are patrolling our waters with our $1b, Entertain yourself here : m.dailytimes.com.ng/article/actors-foes#.VKnUAMXgHa8
who else do you wanna blame, Buhari?
Please lets have a good laugh, BTW did you hear what the money was used for?
have another laugh here: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/173222-norway-sells-warships-combat-boats-ex-militant-leader-tompolo.html.
lol, country for the blind. i said his tenure had been been affected by the 2008 crisis as opposed to OBJ's tenure. I'm talking abt the affter effects of the crisis like capital flight, loss of investor confidence. The prevailing economic conditions under OBJ was better than GEJ. Btw....so Jonathan is responsible for oil theft and for oil companies experiencing production shortfalls. I hope u know how deluded u sound. Do u remember dat it was during Yar'adua' tenure dat we had d biggest loss in oil ouput and revenue due to bunkering and sabotage by militants. U still remember the part GEJ played as VP and a niger-deltan to end militancy. Why we couldnt save during the rainy days?? Do u remember the finance misnister complaining dat governors bluntly refused to have some money put away. They asked for the money to be shared....a right enshrined in the constitution. Jonathan is to be blamed for dat too The norwegian boats u mentioned was acquired to stop piracy and consequently...oil theft. So Jonathan is wrong to commission the task to people who know the creeks more than the Nigerian military. Your buhari and his cohorts from the north are the reason why d country is in the current mess. They laid no credible foundation as ex-leaders but rather spent their time abusing human rights and stiffling freedom. Go sell ur garbage to d naive and uninformed. |

Sammiejokes: Fellow nairaland I have been thinking lately over all this employment FG is saying they are creating, but when I look back @ OBJ regime, I must say graduates around me even though I was just in secondary school were getting jobs, Telecoms,Banking, oil and Gas industry, public sector(FCSC, IFRS) really developed which. Created Jobs for guyz then, most of them are big boyz now that am now a graduate. It is now a tragedy that even private sector now experience all sort of bribe to get a job because of few good jobs around. Please which sector has developed and creating jobs for common Nigerians now under GEJ? these are all part of the private sector. do u really expect Jonathan to run both the private and public sectors as president. i hope u do know he is not Superman and he can only be in one place at a time. the prevailing economic situation then in OBJ's tenure is not the same with GEJ. GEJ's tenure has experienced the effects of the economic crisis of 2008 which started a year after OBJ's tenure and is still felt till today plus lost oil revenue as a result of militancy then coupled with Nigeria's perennial economic woes through our over-dependence on oil. i dont know why most of you chose to blame GEJ entirely for the nation's problem. he merely inherited a rotten corpse of a nation. u cant expect him to revive a 54-yr old nation with severe problems across all sectors in just 6 years. its definitely going to take time. |

Science/Technology › He Could Have Deleted Every Photo On Facebook But He Didnt by Emeca(op): 9:01pm On Feb 13, 2015*. Modified: 1:46am On Feb 14, 2015 |
A security researcher recently made seriously startling discovery. With just four lines of code, he could delete any photo album on Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg's wedding photos? Zap. Seun Osewa's profile pics? Gone. Your graduation album? Lost forever. Lucky for you, he decided to report the bug to Facebook, which promptly cut him a check.
The anti-Facebook super-weapon was no more than a four line HTTP request: DELETE /518171421550249 HTTP/1.1 Host : graph.facebook.com Content-Length: 245 access_token=<Facebook_for_Android_Access_Token>
So long as he had the photo album id and permission to view the album he could delete it. Facebook album IDs are numeric, which means that guessing them is easy - you start with 1 and just keep going up. Laxman Muthiyah could've done a lot of damage with this precious knowledge. Since the album ID numbers are sequential, he could've built a bot to go through and systematically delete everyone's albums. Or held Facebook hostage in order to get a big bounty.
"He could have milked it," says blogger Mark Stockley, "kept his discovery under wraps (giving somebody less upstanding a chance to find it), engaged a PR firm and given it a fancy name." But he didn't; Laxman reported the bug to Facebook like some white hat hacker prince.
The bug is now completely fixed. Guess how much Facebook paid him for being a hero: $12,500. Maybe Facebook should tack a zero onto the end of that sum and just hire Laxman to come and work for its security team. They clearly need the help. Read the full article here: http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2015/02/some-guy-figured-out-how-to-delete-every-photo-on-facebook/Considering the PR catastrophe Facebook would have suffered if this has gotten into wrong hands, do you think they should have payed him more?? |

redcliff: Although i respect Buhari, i would say that i do not like the way he is trying to buy our sympathy. Although this formula worked for the shoeless clueless man, i doubt if this is what people are ready to hear right now. We need to hear how your manifesto would convincingly tell us you are the right man for the job. I have not been able to see that yet. But this comedian is as senseless as the word can be. Anybody who knows the english language should know that this statement 'i have atleast' is very confusing. What it basically means is that he has nothing less than 1million Naira in his account which is definitely more but not less. he attacks the general's rather juvenile attempt at playing the poor politican. Dat doesnt make him senseless. U failed to get his message. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Petition To Withdraw The Holy Bible by Emeca: 6:05pm On Dec 08, 2014 |
Ymodulus: The Bible is the most over-rated work in the world. It is a blood-drenched pseudo-history, psychotic, petulant deities. I am fond of it, though. Reading it is what made me an atheist at a very young age and saved me a lot of time and trouble.
There are plenty of evil in the bible, but here are some few highlights:
1. God drowns the whole earth. - Genesis 7:21-23, God drowns the entire population of the earth: men, women, children, fetuses, and perhaps unicorns. Only a single family survives. - Matthew 24:37-42, gentle Jesus approves of this genocide and plans to repeat it when he returns.
2. God kills half a million people. - 2 Chronicles 13:15-18, God helps the men of Judah kill 500,000 of their fellow Israelites.
3. God kills 14,000 people for complaining that God keeps killing them. - Numbers 16:41-49: the Israelites complain that God is killing too many of them. So, God sends a plague that kills 14,000 more of them. Can you imagine ??
4. Genocide after genocide after genocide. - Joshua 6:20-21 - Numbers 31:7-18, t - 1 Samuel 15:1-9
5. God kills 50,000 people for curiosity. - 1 Samuel 6:19, God kills 50,000 men for peeking into the ark of the covenant.
6. God has 42 children mauled by bears. In 2 Kings 2:23-24, some kids tease the prophet Elisha, and God sends bears to dismember them. Newer cosmetic translations say the bears “maul” the children, but the original Hebrew, baqa, means “to tear apart.” This is to tell you thatt even christians know this is bad.
7. A tribe slaughtered and their virgins raped for not showing up at roll call. - Judges 21:1-23, 8. Child sacrifice. In Judges 11:30-39, Jephthah burns his daughter alive as a sacrificial offering for God’s favor in killing the Ammonites.
9. God helps Samson kill 30 men because he lost a bet. In Judges 14:11-19, Samson loses a bet for 30 sets of clothes. The spirit of God comes upon him and he kills 30 men to steal their clothes and pay off the debt.
10. God kills a man for not impregnating his brother’s widow. In Genesis 38:9-10, God kills a man for refusing to impregnate his brother’s widow.
What a book called the Bible. Am in full support of SonOfLucifer motion to have the bible withdrawn .
I Also want to sue GOD, to the International Criminal Court, that is, if he exists. Can u fight what u cant see? Can u take on what u cant even comprehend? Be careful what u wish for. |
Webmasters › Re: Domain Name Business; The Easiest & The Most Profitable Online Venture by Emeca: 11:26pm On Dec 03, 2014 |
2sExy1: lol... Yes I have but that's for trend domain names but most valuable domains that fit the quick flip category will definitely enter auctions.
I backordered Web Insurance before it was won, over 26 people placed a backorder on it via namejet.com. When people backorder a name at namejet, you can easily see the numbers. Now considering the fact that pheenix, which eventually caught the name, is fairly popular, we should be expecting just around the same number on there because Naturally, no one uses just one backorder company.
So, I will just cross my legs and watch the auction for the next 3 days unfold. ok, thanks. |
