AlaMmaduNiileLala.....sorry am jast practising |
egift: 1. My brother if you want us to discourse Drone Technologies and related technologies, I will be glad to create a topic for us to have a filled day.1. pls do a create a topic....i like to discuss drones. 2. Am not sure abt 1000 drones...even some toys are hard to maintain...if am lying ask d Israelis abt d drones sold to d Nigerian AirForce 3. Ur knowledge abt drone is surprisingly limited. U need to read up more. There's an Israeli miniature surveillance drone d Sky Rider dat weighs just 7kg can fly up to an altitude of 40km and is launched by hand. If u read Jerusalem Post (Jpost.com) sometime...u will see d drone in action against Hamas militants. because of its small size its hard to detect, etc. The A.R drone u mentioned is basically a toy dat costs abt $300. U shuld know toys get levels too. Thats just for Israel and am quite sure d Chinese have their own versions which can be mass produced and made cheap. FYI...to get surveillance drones like d Sky Rider up and running with all d frills and thrills u listed, 100 million will surely do for MORE dan one. Thanks |
Olucheye: Nice one here but still missing out the main point which is, how do you win back their customers.u didnt say anytin abt winnin back customers...u said increase customer base which means getting new customers. Previous users of their service so far they retain d sim are still customers. That being said...to win back customers and get new ones, they need to run ad campaigns specifically addressing the speed issue. Touting d new connection speed, fiber optic backbone, etc. This coupled with running a promo across all exsting plans to old and new customers shuld do d magic. FYI....am talking from experience. I bought an Airtel sim and made a subscription when i heard they dat they not only rectified d speed issue but offered a 30% bonus on every subscription. |
Darryshine1: wise-up man and stop fooling yourself with adverts on newspaper and radio stations only. Guys are making so much money online and U're there waiting for advert on the pages of newspaper or NTA news.what he means is...instead of spamming this thread why dont u use som of d money u've made and run ads on radio and tv...dat way u get across to millions rather dan just us. |
emlilshady: I can see your phone can access the internet. it's better you check yourself for an easy understanding.tanx bro |
Olucheye: [b]Nigeria has a country is blessed with 4 telecommunication giants, MTN, Airtel, Glo & Etisalat respectively. Going by the technological advent of the world, people are being shifted from use of devices and gadgets that run on Megabytes to ones that in a flash would sweep off Gig's. Going by this, Nigeria as a country has a challenge when It comes to data speed and this is evidently seen surfing via any of the basic data plans on offering, by the service providers.Dis case study if u call it one to me is somewat simple. Whats d problem?? 'Snail' speed of d network resulting in loss of customers which in effect results to loss of revenue. Probable solution to increase customer base?? Lay more fiber optics starting with more poulated and upscale cities and communities. Why?? Buying bandwidth at d aforementioned rate is way too expensive >> $100/Gig. Granted there could be discounts wit bulk purchase d question culd be, at what amount can they get it at abt $6-$7/Gig to make it profitable. This rumination is tentative pending a final house solution. Btw...i hope am not missing sumtin. |
if u must scam at least be smart enuff to try cover ur tracks.....tins like bank accounts are dead giveaway. I guess his first-class scammer brain culdnt fathom dat. |
emlilshady: I was watching a movie,'die hard 4' and in one of the scenes the domestic terrorist made a phone call to Mr John and greeted him saying, 'good day Officer'. Mr John replied saying, 'for your information I'm a detective '...bro so whats d difference pls?? |
d postponement CULD b for ur good. I blive no one wants to show up dat day and witness boom! boom! everywhere. d DSS has many enemies. |
emlilshady: seriously!!do you know me from somewhere?men, your level of research is poor I must say. not everybody fancy using their names online.since when did revealing ur true gender imply giving out ur name?? I just hope ur not a tranny or a cross-dresser..... #nowdatscreepy |
emlilshady: a job well done Officer -wanna-bebut why keep up wit d impression dat u ar a lady?? ![]() |
Darryshine1: thatz not true!so true |
obiksam: Can you Identify there office and the personnels in the LGA? Apart from the there head Quaters? There are DSS agents attached to every LGA. You cannot identify dem but they are there. But i dont see hw they can do d work of state police when they are supposed to be anonymous. Moreover such a decision has to be deliberated on d floors of d NASS, it cant be an executive decision. It will mean more men and increased budget for d DSS. |
obiksam: I wonder ooooh. Team Abia which way forward.pls lets help ourselves, anybody dat gets an invite should post on here immediately to inform d rest. |

emlilshady: Those of you from ebonyi, you have the first female house of Senate. Take note :PThose of you from ebonyi, you have the first female house of Senate. Take notefirst female speaker of ebonyi state house of assembly but not d first in d country. |
Desdee101: sharap ur mouth n dnt say nonsense abt wat u dont know! U dey wrk wt dss ni? Who tell u say na civil service wrk? Otondo! Oya also call police army airforce navy n d rest say na civil wrk. Better upgrade urself o bfor u getlost in d stone age.are u dat daft?? Must i spell evrytin out for u?? Cant u see i was referring to his "height is paramount" statement ONLY. If u cant figure out sumtin as simple as dat den u ar beta off findin a job teachin nursery kids...at least ur brain is at same level wit theirs. |
Give five reasons why you want to join the SSS?No. 1: To personally escort Abubakar Shekau to the gates of hell. |
sani4all: You've said it all "questions for each command will be different". Then it will not benefit sharing any content I guess. Nevertheless, there is one compulsory question which I think might be asked in every command.if u can rememba sum of d other questions...it will really help. Moreover, statewise....we ar not in competition. Tanx |
Stevolat: 4 ur informatn dss isnt a civil service job, it's a paramillitary job in wc height is paramount.who told u dat?? Many of u are carried away by d gun-wielding, suit-wearing DSS agents who u can easily spot. Wait till u see d rest in other departments. They dont recruit dwarfs but fitness trumps height anyday. 'nuff said. |
cecejobs: I received 7am as time for exam and stuffs like that. Please are they (SSS @DT) strict with time in Delta? Cos this pple life style deey sumhw. Na gate person drop application, no address, signpost for dia office.....are u sure u sumbitted at d right place??...d pple i submitted to all had DSS written on their forehead. |
E-spit....wat does it luk lyk?? ![]() |
@romoruyi hit me up wit d interview questions and ansa... tychiop@gmail.com thanks |
emlilshady: DepartmentsTitle Departments Responsibilitieswhere did u get dis pls?? #Source |
Rich4god: Good day guys... These question goes out to my fellow engrs (and all those who studied non-financial related courses)... Assuming during the interview with UBN, you were asked "why did you choose a career in banking and not a career in your course of study"...How will you respond to that... Any idea...tho my course is generic, i second this.....any takers?? |
kiuusm: pls Can one swap from SSS to NIA?i dont tink so. they are two distinct agencies. Infact opposite. One works internally, the other externally. |
stinggy: Good question,i'm so interested in NIA and DIA tooi bet it is clouded in unnecessary secrecy and neva transparent. D NIA had the last known recruitment for fresh graduates to fill administrative positions back in 2012. Since den ntin. The DIA (to d best of my knowledge) as d intelligence arm of d military recruits directly from d military. Any civilian wit dem is still posted there by d military. Joinin d NIA there is a great chance u culd be working outside d country attached to a Nigerian embassy. U have an advantage, if u can speak a foreign language. |
what colour do u need?? |
Galads: pls read and understand before quoting anybody and blabbing. anything that has to do with carrying of arms and the military, am not equating it to the military. I said I don't know much about the service doesn't mean I don't know enough of what I want to get into. You said the training is meant to protect you, ofcourse every military or paramility training is meant to protect you first but from your words, you will be shock when you get there. When I said "choose your wife", you should understand what I mean. You expect the secret service to come out and say, we have lost 10 of our men due to insurgencymy my....u ar really getting under my skin. Bt let me correct u on d wild claims u ar making. First am not sure u know wat u talking abt so stop advicing pple. U hav only been making assumptions in ur comments so far.....filling it wit half-truths. U talk as if u have been ever trained by d DSS....bt ar u've not so its really silly to make assumptions. How will i know wat u mean when ur intention is not inform bt to exaggerate. I believe u know d DSS has a spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar and she gave a breakdown of d casualties suffered when d army, police and DSS attempted to arrest d leader of d Ombatse cult in Nassarawa bt were ambushed. She also gave an account of wat went down in Abuja when boko haram prisoners tried to break out of the DSS prison including d fatalities suffered. Its fair to warn pple abt d job bt u dont need to exaggerate d dangers involved because u just want to be relevant in d thread. During the recruitment process anybody found wanting for any reason wuld be dropped, connection or no connection. They cannot afford incompetence. Infact pple wuld be sent packing right in training camp. For d last tym, desist from making uninformed claims and let pple decide for themselves. There is a reason d DSS called only for educational qualifications. They need pple in many other roles other dan gun-carrying. And shuld any one find himself in an armed role he will be adequately trained to carry it out. Many pple in Nigeria are paid peanuts for far more riskier jobs dan dat of DSS agents. So ur advice doesnt even count for such pple. #Peace |
arantess: when he says they choose wife for their pple, he's partially true....in the SSS before you get married, they carry out background checks on your wife-to-be and if nothing is found linking her or her family with any threat to the agent and at large the society, they issue a 'permission to marry' certificate - I have seen the certificate issued to my friend 2yrs back...so in a way they choose ur wifeThey dont choose ur wife for u, they only make sure ur choice doesnt compromise d agency thru u. If u marry b4 joining d DSS ur wife will be subjected to a background check during d recruitment process and if she doesnt pass, u'll neva be allowed to join d agency. Anybody marrying a nice girl with no criminal past has ntin to fear. |
Galads: I have being following this thread from beginning, I laugh at some post, pity some people on others. I am not here to discourage anybody but most people need to go back and think about what they really want.anything that has to do with the military and carrying of arms isn't a childs play. Don't because of unemployment put yourself in a situation you can't handle later. I don't know much about the sss but I sure know it entails every blood in you and at this point where Nigeria is faced with security challenges the sss most also play a very important role. Firstly, forget about family because you won't even have time for them. I heard even your wife, they will choose for you.i tried to ignore dis comment like many others bt i just cant help it. Where d hell do u get dis info ur spreading like gospel?? People like u can be very annoying with their mentality. Take a gud look at urslef b4 laffing and pitying odas cos ur nowhere beta dan dem. U dont know much abt d DSS and u eagerly equate dem to d military. The training DSS gives to its agent is meant to protect dem shuld they find demselves in a difficult situation, its is nowhere near d training an average soldier is subjected to. Anybody worth his salt shuld know dat the work is demading and entails making some sacrifice but its not as extreme as u paint it. They choose wives for their officers .....which planet are u from?? .FYI, the rate of fatalities suffered by d DSS since d start of d boko haram insurgency is negligible compared to dat of d army and even d police. U dont want to discourage pple but ur invariably doin dat. D DSS can neva send out a field agent to accomplish a work if he isnt up to it. U should know dat there are various roles in d DSS not just gun carrying and office work. Its one thing to inform pple but its anoda tin to try put fear in dem just because u ar not man enuff. If evryone shuld adopt ur mentality, no one wuld work in d armed forces and even d police. |
