PDP Finally Zones 2027 Presidential Ticket to the South. Barely two years to the 2027 general election, and few weeks after the Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, announced his resignation from PDP, the party has finally made up its mind to zone its Presidential ticket to the South. Speaking to Daily Independence on Tuesday, the Deputy National Youth Leader, Timothy Osadolor, disclosed that the party has opened its Presidential ticket to all eligible Southerners when he was asked where the party would zone its Presidential ticket. “The PDP has opened the Presidential ticket to all eligible Southerners. We are zoning to the South.” The PDP would hold its Caucus, Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting today and tomorrow to address issues bedeviling the party and ratify Congresses held previously.

Countries like Kenya and Zambia thou economically backwards are more civilised in that regard! You equate Obi in the same dullard league of Buhari and BAT?? What an insult !!! |

Meanwhile, ADC has gone to sleep since their FATHER returned from BRICS.

Politics › Re: Top 6 Sources Of Anambra State's IGR — 2024 by EmekaA125(m): 5:00pm On Jul 17, 2025 |
Anambra is the most developed State in Nigeria after Lagos and Abuja. Highly industrialized, commercialized and enterprising State. The population of Anambra is projected to clock 12m in 2027. This is huge and I like how intentional Gov Soludo is concerning opening up the entire State with dual carriageway.
I heard the Onitsha–Awka monorail project is on the pipeline too. Another project that will give massive ROI when completed. Anambra has the population, opportunities and moderate cost of living so any projects built there is heavily utilized. From the Airport, ICC, Dualized Roads, FunCity, ShopRite, Shopping Malls, 10 storey hotel project at Agu-Awka etc.
God bless Igboland.

ekitimanalways: While the Igbo people possess incredible wealth, knowledge, and entrepreneurial power, the ability to translate these into comprehensive regional development has been severely constrained. Lol Have you been to Onitsha before?? Living all your life in SW and still base your judgment over SE based on what you hear is very bad. SE is not doing bad generally. Nice environment, good modern building and structure, fair power supply etc. One step at a time. |

einsteine: This is a bit of a stupid writeup. As an Igbo man, you should be annoyed that most of your higher quality women are choosing to marry outside their ethnicity. You would never see Fulanis brag with something like this because it is an affront on the males of a group if their females are choosing to marry people of another group. Let them be marrying from Igboland. It's allowed but we will never marry from theirs. Igbo culture can still be exported to other regions for inclusiveness. |

You would never see Fulanis brag with something like this because it is an affront on the males of a group if their females are choosing to marry people of another group. It's not straightforward though. Most Igbo men still marry Igbo women, about 98% or at most SS. We know a demographic or tribe Igbo men hardly marry from. |

PoLItiCoORAclo: Haha! This is bitterness of the highest order. I don't blame them shaaaaa ...instead, I blame Ndi Igbo that have refused to relocate south east.....let Ndi Igbo relocate and fix the eastern part of Nigeria, as there is no hope residing in Lagos and other parts that are unfriendly and hostile to them. Ndi Igbo will be fine again!!! Very hostile, toxic and envious environment. It's quite unfortunate and sad. |

Idaytesj29: When you stop collecting from non Igbo Businesses in Owerri, Awka, Enugu, Abakaliki and Umuahia. If you don't want to pay tax in Lagos cos Lagosians changed street names, pack your businesses and leave. We did not beg you to establish business here. How many non Igbo businesses are in SouthEast?? None. You lots hardly travel to other regions and you still expect to have an influence there. Igboland is 99.9% Igbo dominated. |

This is just the project cost and it's expected to overshoot by at least 100ml That's Government land. Many Awka people who have land there lost it with no compensation from Anambra State government. Soludo didn't pay a dime for the land. |
