Let the maths speak, how much do you think such a place will cost to set up, how much is the running costs, how much does it generate monthly and how long until it breaks even?

The cost of building it was around #255 million. It was kicked off officially this July. People have been employed and posted to many sections of the FunCity. Students are beginning to come there already for excursion. It won't suffer any setback unless the next government after Soludo overlooks it but it's being handled by a private enterprise so it will definitely be running continuously without much government interference.

Igbo is not a minor ethnic group struggling to have a population of 5k. We have the numbers both at home and outside our region. In Anambra for instance, the least populated town will have more farmers who are agrarian in nature. From Awka to Onitsha to Nnewi to Oba to Ihiala to Ekwulobia to Oko to Umunze to Enugu to Oji River to Nsukka to Aba to Umuahia to Owerri to Orlu to Abakaliki to Afikpo.... Igboland can never ever be deserted. Never.

I wish I can show you pictures of attendees last Sunday at Solution FunCity, Awka. Besides, the entrance gate is #2000 after which any other services you which to be rendered to has its own price. The highest being the water or swimming arena which is 20k. The only setback it will have is that Anambra is a highly commercial or business State so people will only get to come weekends, most times from Friday to Sunday. But it will definitely survive and yield much ROI. It's a viable project. I applaud Gov Soludo's initiative in building such leisure center for Ndi Anambra.

I disagree with you. Look at Nike Lake, Enugu, Solution FunCity in Awka. Both resort and recreation center are currently generating revenue for the government. Cross River State government failed woefully here.

SouthEast is the next big thing in Nigeria currently. Every State in the region is being modernized and opened up with dual carriageway. Anambra, Abia, Enugu and Imo governors are changing the narrative. Ebonyi governor must sit up. No time for excuses in Igboland again.

I think young graduates eagerness to get job may push them to any city that presents the opportunity. This does not peculiar to only Lagos State's young residents.

Cost of living and high standard of life is making Lagos jobs pitiful and poor relative to what the city has become.

Many people in Nigeria especially in SouthWest think that life begins and ends in Lagos. They're also think that most Easterners have all migrated to Lagos leaving Igboland empty and deserted. It's quite unfortunate.

SouthEast was a very peaceful region until Buhari brought insecurity as a gift in 2021.
