My brother from the east don't pay tax. They only pay government 1000 naira market levy fees. Ask any Igbo or yoruba man selling spare parts or electronic to show you their tax payment receipt. Igbo man are business wise and can't audit their profit account to the government. Tax management deficit is dragging African countries backwards. Igbo land has produced thousands of billionaires but are they paying tax to the government? Same with every tribes in Nigeria. Eastern billionaire are self made and they are importers of every commodities including tooth pick. The governor in those eastern can only generate meagre IGR due to the tax evaders and less productivity.
