All the street roads in Agulu and Adazi-Nnukwu were awarded and paved by Governor Peter Obi before he left office in 2014.

Anambra State currently has the highest number of dualized roads after Lagos in Nigeria.

1) Awka - Ekwulobia dual carriage way is currently under construction.
2) Aroma-New Government House - Amansea dual carriage way is currently under construction as well.
3) Unizik Junction – Okpuno dual carriage way is 90% completed.

The Dualisation and Construction of Nwagu, Agulu–Neni–Nnokwa–Nnobi–Nnewi Road has been approved by the Anambra State Executive Council at the Government House, Awka.

Now, the Dualization and Construction of Nwagu Agulu to Nnewi Road is the Lot 1.

The Dualization will further continue from Nnewi-Ozubulu-Okija Road as Lot 2. This has also been approved for immediate action.

This is the first of its kind in the history of Anambra State.
