CrimeRe: What Drives Someone To Suicide? by emekag2: 8:21pm On May 26, 2008
Nice discussion.

I think suicide or life problems is caused by excessive desire.

People just think they deserve more. We want the best cars, the best friends, the best society, nothing is perfect. Unless you start appreciating and enjoying what you have, you are likely to feel sucidal.

So do more and expect less.

The most brillant people don't always make it in life becuse they are faster than their shadows. Same with the most beautiful and handsome people getting bad spouse. Same with the super rich having useless children. Same with everything in life.

Don't let the exception deceive you. Cut down on your expectations. Do more and expect less. You will be happy. And perhaps life long.

Just my obeservation.
LiteratureWhat Books Are You Reading? by emekag2(op): 8:38am On Sep 28, 2007
Let’s talk about reading. What are you reading?

What are you reading or what was the last book you read? And share a few lessons from it.

At the moment I read e-books. The last book I read is “Conversations with Millionaires”
by Mike Litman and the present one is “The Intelligent Investor” by Benjamin Graham; I download both from www.oxcheck.net

Two lesson I learnt from “Conversations with Millionaires.” One, find enough reasons to do something and force or punish yourself to do it. The second is, save and buy what will bring value to your work, business, or life.

What are you reading?
FashionRe: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by emekag2: 12:37pm On Aug 22, 2007
The older you get, the less you dress.

Spending money on fancy flashy clothes, and seemingly endless array of wardrobe choices and sport hairstyles that cost so much to maintain are the live of television characters. It is not something you can do forever.

Men and women, please dress simple.
