Please for those that applied together for F1 and F2 together, please did you fill separate DS-160 forms?

Also, does the sevis fee cover both F1 and & F2 or will each dependent pay a seperate sevis fee?

Lastly, if you are funded, who do you put as sponsor? Yourself or the school, bearing in mind the funding only covers the student.

Please I am in a fix.

My husband and I got admissions in the USA.
I got a full tuition waiver, but my husband doesn't have funding. Different schools but same state.

Should we both apply for F1 F1 or should one person apply for F1 while my husband apply for F2.
Can he change his status in the USA to F1. He really wants to do this masters and he cannot defer again.
Please seniors I need your Honest insight.
