WRONG!
I know a woman who forgot to take (and submit) her TB test result.
After submission, she was crying at home and preparing for a rejection.
Days later, she received an email and a phone call from UKVI. She was asked to scan and send the TB certificate.
Days later, her visa was granted.
She is a tier-4 dependant though.

Like someone said, I would suggest you pay the few quid and immediately send an email to UKVI. Don’t give up, yet.

Why not? It's a regulated financial institution, with verifiable accounts. If building societies can be used, why not MFBs

I'm about to apply for my Tier 4 Visa application, I'm I eligible to use a statement of account received from Micro finance bank or it has to be the one generated from a Commercial bank?

Reason I asked is because I've seen someone denied UK visit visa, the person used a
micro finance statement with a huge balance that he could not properly explain the source of the fund.

Base on this, can I use a micro finance bank statement of account or it is a must to use statement of account from commercial bank?

Please I need advise. My program starts on the 27th of January, my question is should I do normal standard visa or priority visa?
I actually want to do standard visa because of lack of fund but I want to get proper guidance from the Ogas here.

I have a discount from my school, do I take away the discount from the fees to be paid? The discount was mentioned in my CAS and the course fees Is it the course fees or the one in which I take the discount away that is to be written on my profile?

If the discount has been mentioned in your CAS, then it means the course fee without the discount. The remainder of the tuition fees you've to pay.

2. My bank account will be ready by 2nd January,

Can i apply the same day?

If i apply for priority visa, will i be interviewed the day i go for biometrics or am i gonna have to wait for a later date or what? please.

So only if your course start by Jan 20th can you get CAS, if not I would advise you to hold on cos even if the school gives you CAS (unlikely) it could put your Visa in jeopardy

My school end date is Jan 2021 and graduation is in June (Dundee uni). It's likely that the end date of your programme is May because they already included your grad date with the end date or that your grad date is the following month (June)

People do finish in May.... my cousin got admission to 4 schools and this was even before PSW announcement and I noticed all 4 admission stated start day in Jan 2020 and end date May 2021.

None of the program allowed for an end date of Jan 2021 . I called the schools to ask mainly because I felt it's cheaper to finish in Jan instead of may , with the announcement of PSW I am like January what !! May yes please

No one finishes in May(except you got an extension) Usually, if your course ends in January or February, you graduate in June. Same with some schools that end date is September but graduation is January (the following year, Swansea university for example)
So basically, if your course ends January 2021, it's likely that you will graduate in summer 2021 and be entitled to the PSW.

You are right...those that finished in May will graduate June or July and that is what appears in your certificate, your graduation date and not course finished date.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I've actually studied in the UK before but wasn't married then and didn't need payslips and all. I asked the question because of the guy whose visa was denied because he claimed he worked with an oil company but didn't include his employment letter. Is it OK to say funds are personal savings from my husband and myself (when asked the source) as I intend to show I'm self sponsored.
1. That got nothing to do with student visa application..

2. Yes you can say that if truly you are self employed just in case you are asked a further question about your business during the interview, so basically prepare to defend whichever answer you give during the interview.
