Police, Army feeding fat from lies against us — IPOB
Nnewi —THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has replied the Nigeria Police and Army in Imo State, telling them to stop deceiving the public with lies, describing the two security agencies in Imo State as feeding fat from lies against it and Eastern Security Network, ESN.
The agitating group also alleged that the two security agencies derive pleasure in dishing out fake information and falsehood to blackmail IPOB and ESN.
The pro Biafra group therefore, described the claims by the two security agencies, the Nigerian Police and the Nigerian Army, that they discovered Eastern Security Network, ESN ,camps in Lilu and Orsumoghu in Anambra State, Mbaise and Obowo in Imo State as fabricated blatant lies to justify their further destruction of more communities in the South East.
IPOB also raised the alarm that a fake media group is being floated in its name by some faceless people to dupe unsuspecting people and urged its members, supporters and sympathizers to beware of such fraudsters masquerading as IPOB’s Media Group, that such does not exist in IPOB.
A statement by IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, entitled, “Nigerian security agents should stop lying against us, we have no camp anywhere,” wondered why the two security agencies in Imo State cannot stop deceiving the public over feats they never achieved but only specialise in dishing out lies.
IPOB statement read: “The global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, under the command and leadership of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to once again, debunk the falsehood and propaganda by the Nigerian Army and Police against innocent Biafran youths, especially Eastern Security Network, ESN, operatives.
“The Nigeria Army Commander as well as the Commissioner of Police in Imo State derive pleasure in dishing out fake information and falsehood to deceive the public all in a futile attempt to disrepute IPOB members and ESN operatives, and we keep wondering why they cannot stop deceiving the public over feats they never achieved, but only specialise in dishing out lies.
“We therefore, once again declare that contrary to fabricated lies by the security agencies, the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Police, IPOB or ESN, have no camp anywhere in Anambra, Imo or any state in South East. IPOB or ESN does not operate from camps.
“The Hope Uzodimma led Imo State government instructed soldiers to go from house to house, searching for IPOB members and in the process, many innocent youths including members of IPOB, were abducted, with many unaccounted for, while many others are still dumped in many detention facilities across the country.
“We call for the release of these victims, we do not know why innocent Igbo and other Biafran youths will be languishing in security agencies’ cells for committing absolutely no crime while terrorist herdsmen are roaming freely and causing more horrific crimes in Nigeria.
“May we also warn our people not to fall prey to fraudulent elements masquerading as IPOB Media Team working for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, MNK. We declare without equivocations that there is no such group called IPOB Media Team working for MNK. IPOB has no such group.
“Our people should beware and not allow people to defraud them in the name of IPOB. IPOB does not engage in fund raising and any such fund raising not approved by the leadership of IPOB, which is the Directorate of State, DOS, is not genuine and should be disregarded.
“Our people should avoid those engaging in such fraudulent fund raising in the name of IPOB or our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu anywhere in the world. We take directives only from DOS and no other group or person.”

An Indigenous activist, author and pro Biafra writer, Ifeanyi Chijioke has narrated how the embattled leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu landed in trouble after he snubbed British police invite.
Kanu according to the Indigenous writer was invited together with his estranged deputy, Uche-Mefor for fueling hate and anarchy through radio Biafra London.
In an opinion piece titled, “Adeyinka’s Grandson — An insight into Nnamdi Kanu’s predicament”, Ifeanyi narrated how the conspiracy theory that Nnamdi Kanu was betrayed by some of his members and Igbo politicians was put to rest after Kanu through his legal representatives made it obvious that nobody betrayed him.
He said Kanu knew that something was after him long before he was arrested and battered in Kenya police cell.
“I might have annoyed you with facts but you have to bear with me. Couple of months before Uchemefor resigned from IPOB, UK police invited Nnamdi Kanu and Uche-Mefor who was his deputy as at the time of the invite. Nnamdi Kanu declined the invite and left UK in what appeared to be a strategic shave of danger. Uche-Mefor honored the invite and gradually began to de-radicalize himself- we began to hear Uche-Mefor that preaches tolerance and peace- strongly stood against armed ESN.
“Nnamdi Kanu was defiant because he had shaved the danger of being taken in by UK police but that ushered in a low-key fugitive status. From one country to another without updating people; his instinct or contacts might have debriefed him. UK was determined to act on low-key; this was evident with the handling of Adeyinka’s Grandson who was invaded and hurriedly sentenced without any public notice.
“Staying in Europe had become a risk to Nnamdi Kanu. UK was using her connects to follow up and try to bring him in without much noise. Kanu was also playing a wild card. It would raise a dust for UK to directly handle Kanu because of his followers. So, picking him up had to be a patient game for UK. Use of baits to lure him to a slaughter house.
“He was discreetly being followed until he entered Kenya and that was the right time to strike. It can only take advanced tracking to arrest Nnamdi Kanu without anybody’s awareness and brought back to Nigeria from Kenya without even his neighbors or friends in Kenya knowing. Nigerian attorney general announced the arrest and extradition of Nnamdi Kanu to our disbelief. It was professionally executed and we are aware Nigeria cannot arrest Nnamdi Kanu the way he was arrested.
“To get Nnamdi Kanu on UK soil became impossible because he had sensed danger and left. UK would have felt more comfortable arresting and prosecuting him in UK. They weren’t ready for extradition politics, so, it took quite a deserved time to get him in a lawless country like Kenya
“Continuously; the presidency publicly assures that Nnamdi Kanu’s prosecution would restore peace in Southeast and Southsouth. It is rather a public assurance to Britain to be rest assured that they would handle the matter just as they handled Adeyinka’s Grandson. Nnamdi Kanu might be smart to evade UK authority but Nigerian authority has proven worse than UK. Nigeria is a country that flagrantly flouts court orders and more when backed or not under pressure from especially Britain.
“Today; Britain is solidly behind Nigeria and this has given Nigeria the wings to soar as high as they want with iniquities and lawlessness. Britain is indirectly responsible for Nnamdi Kanu’s arrest with the soul aim to stabilizing the shaky foundation of Nigeria’s unity.
“Arrest and sentencing of Adeyinka’s Grandson was a statement action. To Britain, they have successfully contained Nigeria’s secessions. Nnamdi Kanu would be prosecuted and rightfully sentenced. Igboho would be prosecuted and rightfully sentenced to put to bed secession agendas in Nigeria.
“To those asking for Nnamdi Kanu’s release. The only option Kanu has is to renounce Biafra and get a pardon or face his fate and journey in prison. It is still a hard nut to crack because Britain might reject his plea to renounce Biafra and insist on their own option. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Adeyinka’s Grandson is a yardstick for the supreme leader of supreme IPOB.
