The information here helped me see the viability of this journey and the processes involved. I will advice newbies to read up. @GlitteringStar has done/is doing a good job to summarise the processes on page 0. Not every thread on NL even have that kind of summaries. Read page 0, follow the thread, read CIC's website. Thanks @Newmum0615, @Nusetron, @Sunvick, @Rijo02, @4Barr for your response to my enquiries. To everyone waiting, just hang in there, your time will come soon. It will end in praise for us all. God indeed makes all thing beautiful in His time. |

You can pay using your debit card. Just choose the pay with credit card option and put your debit card details instead. Junnaid: |
Okay, that makes sense. The course completion date is just on my offer letter, but ain't using it for anything. I'll just stick with the one on my certificate. Thanks alot. 4Barr: |
Can someone help respond to this please? Emerson500: |
Hey guys, please when asked for course end date while completing the express entry profile, do I use the graduation date on my certificate or my course end date? Was thinking it should be the date on my certificate but I worked full time after my course end date but before graduation. I don't want to have conflicting info when filling the post-ITA application. |
Here are the links to some of the materials I used which has been shared here already before. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1A32Ko0KVjhZDZEWFBsOWYybDA https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-ojk5EVi9onWm5NcHB5UEVYY2c The first link contains cambridge IELTS 1 - 10. while the second has cambridge IELTS 5 - 12. So you might want to consider downloading the folders individually so you don't have duplicate copies and waste data. You can also request for a practise material from https://admissiontestportal.com/en/pages/4-ielts-test-preparation/ Other sites I used for tips were ieltsliz.com, readingielts.com ieltsbuddy.com especially for writing, band 9 speaking videos on youtube. E2 videos and so. Just practice reading and listening more with the cambridge ielts after looking up tips and you should be good to go for those ones. I think for the duration for preparation, it depends on the time you put in and how fast you start getting desirable results and build your confidence. I took about 5 weeks to prepare. Muslimity: |
Hello guys, I've been silently follwing this thread for a while now. Want to thank you guys for the good job you are doing here. Just got my IELTS now. First attempt LRSW - 8.5, 8.5, 7, 7. All thanks to God for the success. @einsteino and @yetunde84 thank you for the materials you shared. Was really helpful. I have concluded my ECA for my MSc alone. Submitted my application on the 11th of october, my Uni requested a copy of my certificate and sent it along with my transcript to WES the following day as it was a UK institution and the process was seamless. Got my report on the 7th of November. Just getting ready to dive into the pool now. I should be swimming in lane 450 |
