No law is stopping them. It's just that anti-venoms are expensive, need proper storage, and the snake has to be accurately identified by the victim for it to be effective.

Nigeria has no effective emergency response, and bear it in mind that some snake venom kills as little as under an hour.

The road was inaugurated last year December by the state Government.

The current rehabilitation done by the federal government was stopped, in fact the concrete pave done has been demolished by the ongoing expansion.

So, we can ask, if Federal Government is the one doing the expansion why did the same Federal Government start the rehabilitation last year that leads to the work done being destroyed this year?

Anyway, you people don't defend nonsense for nothing.

Ogar, the federal government is in charge of the road expansion, and what the federal government intends to do is expand it to a two way with six lanes, does that even sound to you like a state government project for crying out loud? Cost of that project is about 75 billion naira, again does that figure sound like what state government can afford to cough out and spend on a single project?? Company in charge of the project is CHEC.


What the state government is doing is carrying out a strategic intervention project within the Mararaba axis to address local gridlock on this federal road. Which involves construction of twin flyover bridge within the Mararaba axis starting from Abacha Barracks Junction to Technology Village junction and the cost of that project is 39 billion Naira. Company in charge of the project is Triacta Nigeria Limited.

Pls always get your fact right, like I said, it is ok to hate the government for whatever personal grudge you hold against them but do not lie or try to deny them applaud where necessarily needed.

Aside the 15 trillion naira coastal road, what really is the federal government doing with its own share of the allocation? You can clearly see the name of the contractor handling the project, Triacta Nigeria Ltd.
