yemmit90: Ignorant is a disease, why am I even replying you when you probably know nothing about crops farming.
A 10 days without rain can negatively influence expected outcome and put his farm or investment at risk. I have seen a whole hectare of maize farm being render almost unproductive as a result of prolong lack of rain during rainy season. To achive greater success in farming, it is better to be in total control of your fate than solely relies on nature that is subject to sudden change or uncertainty.
You will make much more profit if you used the money meant for 6 acres to irrigate just 2 acres with peace of mind. You can easily intercrop in irrigation land and still harvest bountifully well. Thanks for the clarity. |
Agriculture › Re: My Maize Farm - Six Acres by Emeskhalifa(m): 2:04pm On Jun 05, 2025 |
yemmit90: Maize plantation is very risky without irrigation, even during the rain season.
A 10 days without rain can have negative effects on yielding results. I will rather do an acre with irrigation than 6 acres withiout it. Must una crictise everything? Or try to weaken the spirit of someone striving to make a difference?? Nawa o |

You have the crude, you have the refineries why on earth should you buy fuel above 500 naira?
If not for corruption and docile Nigerians and their inability to hold political leaders to accountability. See them, celebrating fuel above 800 naira.
Shame on all of you! What's stopping you from leading from?? Abii na only for Internet you get mouth? Any small thing, Nigerians can't hold leaders accountable |

Piggyvest can't go down. It must truly be a glitch.
If it truly does, then it's gonna make people lose the trust all the Fintechs have been able to earn in last 5 years. Exactly. If any of them, let's say Piggyvest, moniepoint, opay goes down, no one will ever trust anything fintech again.
