Sergio Busquet has to be up there. Terrible drama queen at times!!!! |
Spot on!! Though i like my woman 's hair braided neat and tidy, not all the Brazilian stuff. thanks for the piece |
HBD Nairaland. Class of 2006 all the way!!! |
@tainot-Extremely funny!!! ![]() |
That you are discussing it on this forum shows you have a good heart. My candid advice:As tempting as it may be, dont keep it ,report matter to your bank. You will be amazed what blessing lies in wait thereafter. Naija will be a better place if you do. |
Why is Arsenal home page still showing Per as 'set to Join'? I hope the webhost is not sleeping. So Lansbury is off to West ham? let the clearout continue-Bendtner to the Brittania maybe. Guys, how authentic is Goal.com about AWs interest in Dempsey?I dont trust their stories. |
$4 Billion Ransom!!!? Were they dreaming? Kudos to our security forces. |
IMHO Rampage/Shogun will be a less exciting fight compared to Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort next month. After a close shave with defeat in his fight with Chael Sonnen, Anderson will be looking to prove he is the best pound-for- pound fighter on earth ( I believe he is). Cant wait for the UFC debut of Aldo. Trash talker Kosccheck was finally silenced by the most matured fighter in UFC-GSP. I was disgusted at Koschecks antics during The Ultimate fighter Season they both coached |
Nasri is Barclays player of the month for December. Congrats prince NAS- Keep up the good work! |
Hodgson out, Daglish in at Liverpool, but hope that galvanses them to get the result against Man United 2day |
Not surprised at all. Toney got his tactics all wrong by not preventing a take down. Couture know Tonry had a better chance via standup confrontation and he went for the takedown early, knowing Toney was inexperienced , he submitted him without breaking sweat. Now we know the answer- MMA rules over boxing. The surprise of the night for me was Edgar shutting out BJ Penn. I expected more from the Protegee |
At last! Squills lands!! Wenger, a world class goalie is next. We need two more signings-Get Shwarzer and loan out Fabianski COYG!! ![]()

Well ,Toney has a bigger reputation than Kimbo. Remember he has been world boxing champ in 3 different divisions whereas Kimbo was just a steet fighter before joining UFC and his debut was rather disappointing-all muscles, hypes and stuff but no grey matter. I am with u though on Coutoure,he IS a legend of the sport and one of the most experienced, but u neva know. If he allows a standup fight he might be in trouble with a Toney Sucker punch. Verdict -Couture wins on points |
Toney vs Couture is an intriguing match up. U xpect Toney to trash talk,he is a boxer, heavily fisted and a single blow frm him could knock out Couture cold but the grappling skills and ground game of Couture could prove too strong for debutant Toney.Cant wait for aug 28 |
All hail the Spider Anderson Silva for defending his title against trash talker Chael Sonnen. All credit to Sonnen but Silva showed why he is widely regarded as the most complete fighter in the UFC,my peeps if u havent been watching the UFC pls start doing so,it will make u hate WWE and the film trick called wrestling. |
Lets see how Cain Velasquez fare with Brock Lesnar-gonna be a great fight. Cain is a smaller guy with a big heart. Carwin is my man anyday and I am hoping he returns soon |
A die hard fan is here, did u watch UFC117-Jones vs Matyushenko? One of the shortest main event, Jones took less than 2Mins to dispatch his oppponent. How r u warmin up for the big one UFC 118 ( Sonnen vs Silva) nxt Sunday? |
Another view-a horrendous injury!!!-Get well soon RAMBO

I have noticed of late that the poster -"youngest" just makes some rather annoying posting on this forum, none of his postings have VIN for the so called cars and worst of all, pictures are not uploaded, maybe monitor needs to start screening some of these mails to save serious viewers and posters time. ![]() |

Hi nairalanders ,I believe this message type has been posted before, but this could also be useful:September 25, 2006 20 Ways to Ruin an Interview Arrive late. If you can't show up on time for an interview, why would an employer trust you to show up on time every day if you're hired? Arrive unprepared. If you really want a certain job at a company, you need to know as much as possible about the position and the company BEFORE you get to the interview. Show up with a friend. Unless you're a teenager who just got her first work permit, you need to come to every job interview alone. If a friend or relative gives you a ride, arrange to meet him off the premises later in the day. Don't show up at all. An interviewer may not remember every name from a stack of resumes, but she might remember the name of the person who never showed up for an interview. In a nation of job hoppers and small world stories, you never know where you might run into her again. Dress improperly. Inappropriate attire shows you didn't plan for the interview or make an effort to learn what the company dress code is. Stink up the joint. If you smoke, don't do it before an interview. Ditch cologne or perfume altogether. Don't consume any questionable food beforehand, such as garlic or onions. In an enclosed office, nothing smells better than, well, nothing. Greet your interviewer with a lame handshake. You don't have to crush his hand, but you must develop a firm, professional handshake. Don't discriminate between the sexes either. Giving your female interviewer a lame half-handshake will never help you get hired. Talk too much. Every interviewer wants a candidate to speak and ask questions. However, listening is just as important. So make sure your ears are open more often than your mouth. Don't talk enough. The fear of talking too much should not prevent you from talking enough. Even if you're not naturally chatty, you should answer all questions thoughtfully and thoroughly and attempt to engage your interviewer in a congenial, professional manner. Use curse words or slang. Cursing has become more commonplace in pop culture, but it has no place in a job interview unless you're applying for work as a stand-up comedian. Act too familiar with the interviewer. An interview is a meeting and everyone wants to attend meetings that are focused and follow an agenda. Don't mistake being friendly for being familiar by revealing personal information that is off topic. Act like an "-ist." Nothing says you don't want a job more than displaying qualities or making statements that could be deemed racist or sexist. If you have a personal problem with this, go get some diversity and sensitivity training. Answer your mobile phone. There is almost no situation in which you cannot turn off your mobile phone for a 30-minute period. If there is, schedule your interview for another time or day. Avoid eye contact. Making eye contact indicates connection and honesty. Even if you're shy, you must make and maintain eye contact during an interview or risk a hiring manager viewing you as evasive or insecure. Act arrogant and overconfident. Companies today want to hire team players, not self-centered blowhards who cannot accept criticism or work well with others. Act desperate. No matter how badly you need a job, never let 'em see you grovel. Focus on being enthusiastic about the company and confident in your ability to do a good job. Lie. Lying to an interviewer about a skill, experience or a degree could possibly get you hired. It will also get you fired before you start thanks to the now ubiquitous background check. Bad-mouth your former employer. Even if you worked for Dr. Hannibal Lecter, it's best to avoid talking trash about a former employer. Instead, focus on your own responsibilities and accomplishments at each job you held. Criticize the company or any of its employees. No matter what performance issues or scandals have been revealed in the media, do not bring up a company's dirty laundry or less-than-dazzling performance. If asked to comment on either, be diplomatic and offer solution-oriented answers rather than judgments. Ask questions that focus solely on perks and fun. Don't spend all your time asking about vacation, sick days, a company's bonus structure and any possible perks. In fact, on a first interview, try not to focus too much on these topics at all. |
