PoliticsRe: We Will Show Terrorists, Sponsors No Mercy – Tinubu by emkz: 6:08am On Dec 20, 2025
President Tinubu, what about the named sponsors? More should be named.

State police abd forest guards are a must. Let every Nigerian feel safe and travel without fear.

As we told you previously, whatever you accomplish economically with security in tatters amounts to failure.

Bring terrorists and their sponsors and sympathizers to an end. Economic terrorists too should be jailed after trial and their illegally acquired assets must be seized and returned to their states or FG.

So the woman should put her life on hold because her husband died?

Who made such rules?

If she chooses not to remarry, she has the right to do so; if she chooses to remarry, she also has the right to do so.

Anyone bothered by her decision should explain how it disturbs him.

Let each person live the way he or she has decided. She is not accountable to you but her husband who is no longer bothered by such things.
PoliticsRe: NMDPRA’s CEO Disowns ‘response’ To Dangote Allegations, Clarifies Position by emkz: 7:13am On Dec 17, 2025
Aliko:

1. Is it true that our refinery cannot meet daily demand in Nigeria?

2. If that is the case, why do you want to monopolize the market?

3. If your refinery cannot meet daily demand, is it not fair for import licenses to be granted to those who can support your own output?

4. You hold press conferences every month as if you are briefing Nigerians on the state of your refinery. In your latest press conference, you published the names of NMDPRA's children and the schools they attended and the fees they paid. You failed to link those fees to corruption. We expected you to submit evidence of him receiving money illegally or engaging in corruption. How will you feel if the details of your children and their schools and addresses are published?

5. You are at loggergeads because he granted import licenses. Why don't you lobby legislators to amend the PIA to ensure NMDPRA cannot grant such licenses?

6. You attempted to penetrate the noodles market and left it as quickly as you came in because Dufil Prima already dominated the market. Are you afraid of competition?

7. Scale up production, plug loopholes and sell at prices Nigerians can afford. That way, you'd take a significant chunk of market share. Engaging in monthly smear campaign and attacking someone's children is not how to run a business. That is introducing political smear campaign in the corporate world. Until the refinery attains full capacity, import licenses are to continue.

We appreciate Aliko for building a refinery to meet Nigeria's energy needs. I suggest he buys out the marketers and take over their assets.
PoliticsRe: Opposition Leaders Raise Alarm Over Threat Nigeria’s Multi-Party Democracy by emkz: 5:12am On Dec 15, 2025
As for weaponizing EFCC, are they saying that politicians who have questions to answer should not answer because of their membership of the opposition?

The one currently in detention, was he not already answering questions on his activities as minister concerning Abacha loot while he was in the APC?

Opposition parties should come clean and tell us whether they are against returning loots by those who were in government or for them to return the loots.
PoliticsRe: Opposition Leaders Raise Alarm Over Threat Nigeria’s Multi-Party Democracy by emkz: 5:06am On Dec 15, 2025
Opposition have already admitted defeat. They have failed to arrest the retrogression of their parties. Has Peter Obi set up any reconciliation committee in LP? Has Atiku and his gang set up such in ADC? Instead, they are fighting and dictating to those they met at the party.

Has ADC carried out any sensitization at ward level? Has Peter Obi done outreach to fix the lapses in the last election?

From the resignation of a former director of the Obidient Movement, it is clear that Peter Obi is detached from party activities and focuses on his own brand. Sadly, we do not have independent candidates in our politics. No matter how strong a politician is, he'd lose under a weak or dysfunctional party.

The opposition are the ones opposing themselves by not fixing their parties.

PoliticsRe: FEC Approves Construction Of Bank Of Industry Headquarters At Eko Atlantic City by emkz: 8:03am On Dec 11, 2025
AustineE1:
You want to divert attention from the main issues, the same people whom are complaining that Lagos is overstretched and is congested, keep pushing all major federal government projects and establishments to Lagos, its only natural that more people will flood the state,as workers and others that will benefit directly and indirectly from such will head to Lagos ASAP.
I don't think this is the way to decongest Lagos, this government is creating a bigger problem for Lagos,in an attempt to acquire more for their region.
Historically, new cities are developed to decongest big cities, which is the reason for the Eko Atlantic hub and Lekki Free Trade Zone. With the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway and train tracks linking Lagos and Ibadan, people can live in other states and come to work in Lagos.

In many countries worldwide, there is that one city which is the hub for economic activities. It is mostly New York for the United States, Amsterdam for the Netherlands, London for the UK, Paris for France, Johannesburg for South Africa, Brussels for Belgium, Ontario for Canada, etc. Lagos is that city for Nigeria and her impact on the Nigerian economy is known as Lagos competes and outplays the economies of some African countries year on year.

The way to make other cities attractive is to create economic hubs to attract people. For example, Peter Obi could have supported the transformation of Nnewi into a huge factory for making shoes, textile, machinery, agricultural tools, etc. You think people would not flood there? Build a fertilizer plant or juice factory that pays well in Osun state and see if people won't flood there. Build agro-hubs in Benue state and see movement. Do not blame Lagos, blame the visioners who failed to develop their states.

So it has become clear that those tasked with solving the problem were indeed in bed with those causing the problem.

Before Lauretta Onochie starts shouting political persecution, Malami needs to explain the following:

1. Did he pay any $200 million to Sunrise concerning the Mambilla power scam for which EFCC has issues with Olu Agunloye?

2. Did he duplicate legal fees to an Swiss lawyer over the Abacha loot recovery?

3. Did he controversially approve payment to certain individuals over Paris Club refunds?

4. Can he tell us how much he has in his 46 bank accounts? Can he publish the inflows and outflows from those accounts from 2015 to 2023?

Until he does these, no one should call his questioning political persecution. He should clear himself.
Foreign AffairsRe: Elon Musk Calls For Abolition Of The EU, Return Of Sovereignty To Member States by emkz: 7:38am On Dec 09, 2025
What are the benefits of the EU?

A visa to one EU country allows free movement among EU countries.

Collapse of customs and borders allows free movement of goods and people: liberalization of trade. That is why despite leaving the EU, the UK still wanted access to the trade market. A common currency means easy exchange of goods and services and inflation control: if a country is struggling, other stronger EU countries can provide buffers as seen in the case of Spain and Greece.

Cross-country benefit. You can be the citizen of one EU country and easily move to settle in another one without the immigration checks. As a citizen, the EU job market is open to all EU citizens. They are given priority before Americans or other nationals.

Reduced fees for all EU citizens in all EU countries.

The Nigerian population is 51% of the EU population. Now imagine Nigeria coming together, speaking with one voice. That unity alone can threaten any interest.

As a bloc, the EU is a powerhouse that cannot be overlooked by global powers. United, they offer a threat to entrenched interests. By asking for the balkanization of the EU into individual countries, Elon is calling for a weakened Europe.

Together, the EU is strong. So we say: Viva EU!

Breaking News 2: Nigeria's external reserves jumps to $45billion. They'd ignore the news because it doesn't satiate their desire for failure. Their master will be mute for two days and return with a bang and cook all the negativity he can find and cite statistics from Bangladesh which collapsed.
PoliticsRe: PDP Constitutes National Caretaker Committee As Tenure Of NWC Ends On Tuesday by emkz: 5:19am On Dec 08, 2025
Atiku took the right step to abandon PDP.

The factionalization of PDP may affect party candidates in 2027. I think any right-thinking person seeking election or re-election had better abandon PDP.

As for the folks migrating to ADC, ADC has not shown much promise as the promoters are not interested in building a party and are just after power.

ADC would be factionalized too. And this would affect their 2027 chances. Leke Abejide and Dumebi Kachikwu are at loggerheads with the new entrants who have shown no respect for the legacy members.

My take is that the self-factionalization of the opposition may have handed over power to Tinubu in 2027. There'd be litany of court cases within the ADC and PDP which would mar their chances.

As a matter of urgency, let the people in ADC dedicate their energies to building the ADC. Even if they do not make a good showing in 2027, let them prepare for 2031.

The ADC has not entrenched itself as a brand in Nigeria. If it is such a strong brand, without looking at the internet, what is the colour and shape of the embroidery on the shaking hands of the ADC logo?
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Air Force Strikes Benin Republic Fleeing Coup Plotters by emkz: 4:49am On Dec 08, 2025
Let it be stated to the children who have not overcome the sobering defeat they received in 2023.

Nigeria's intervention in Benin under the auspices of ECOWAS standby force was at the request of the Beninoise legitimate authorities. Tinubu did not invade a sovereign nation. There is no double standard.

Why do these children wish for political instability in Nigeria and neighbouring countries? We recall how some of them went to Defence HQ to ask if the military would watch as Bola Tinubu would be sworn in. Yet, one of their warlords, a failed politician, was on Channels TV saying that swearing in Bola Tinubu would be ending democracy in Nigeria.

Who wanted to end democracy in Nigeria if not sore election losers?

PS: As for those saying the Nigerian Airforce cannot bomb insurgents, let it be also stated that insurgents collect daily, but making a show of it removes the element of surprise which is critical. As you can see, the coupists were caught offguard and had no time to respond, which caused the coup to fail. How can you shit air space without the capacity to enforce it?

PoliticsRe: Five Ambassadorial Nominees Haunted By Controversies by emkz: 7:09am On Dec 07, 2025
Why so much ado over ambassadors?

I think Pauline Tallen was offered an ambassadorial position and she rejected it. Ambassadorship is a strategy to weaken people politically. All politics are local. Ambassadors are not on ground to lead the political front. Even their footsoldiers would need funds to oil the political machinery, funds which are not readily available because there is no money in ambassador business.

The ambassador is like a civil servant whose job is to manage the country's embassy, liaise with ambassadors of other countries, represent the country at diplomatic meetings, file intelligence reports to his country of origin and look after our citizens. It weakens them politically.

As for those haunted by controversy, have they acquitted well in their previous roles? Those with EFCC cases, have they established their innocence?

Those opposed to the list should propose their own list.

As long as they create content, the public will scrutinize. Until he learns to keep his marriage an affair with his spouse, he sets himself up for dragging.

This also applies to Ned Nwoko who claimed he is being dragged online. All the things he wrote about Regina, was that not premium dragging?

Everyone using Tuface to catch cruise shows professional jealousy and lack of respect.

Daddy Freeze opened an Instagram session with Kaka to discuss Tuface's issues with his spouse. Who gave him that right?

Teni, who cannot lace Tuface's shoes jumped on it to trend.

One thing is clear: there is no love in the entertainment industry. It is a dog-eat-dog matter. Even Nasboy, who can be fathered by Tuface, made comments.

How disrespectful!

Whatever his personal weaknesses, every entertainer must show respect to a legend in the music industry. I am not a fan of Tuface, but we should pay attention to his emotional and mental health and leave him to sort any issues by himself.

It is rare for a man to hop from woman to woman and retain his sanity. There is another one sewing needless twitter epistle for someone no one asked him for.

That said, Tubaba has faced a lot of controversies in his career, some of them as a result of his own undoing. He should have recognized his weaknesses and tamed it. Now what he seemed to have done to others, someone is doing it to him.

As a man gets older, he realizes that the most valuable thing he needs in his life is peace.

May Tubaba find peace.

As for those looking to settle down, please pay attention to your intending spouse. Watch out for temper and how they react. It is far better to detach from such a person than plunge oneself into a prison of pain, suffering, and ridicule. Avoid anyone who undermines you and devalues you.
PoliticsRe: Mbah Presents ₦1.62 Trillion 2026 Budget, Prioritises Education, Infrastructure by emkz:
I think those presenting budget should first come and tell us how the past budget performed.

What was budgeted and what was allocated?

In my view, we around have a tradition of legislative and state review. Three months before presenting a new budget, let state executives present their projects and how they utilized the budgets.

The ritual of budget presentation is getting state. We remember a governor who presented budgets and called them names like: Budget of Infinite Transposition, Budget of Kinetic Crystallization, Budget of Qabalistic Densification, Budget of Olimpotic Meritemasis, Budget of Blush and Bliss, Budget of Conjugated Agglutination, but failed to budget for Catastorphic Cannibalism into Failure as he failed to produce budget performance reports and failed as governor.
CelebritiesRe: Politically, Peter Obi Cannot Stand Next To Tinubu - Samklef by emkz: 6:05am On Dec 03, 2025
While Tinubu was building a party, someone rode on the back of Ojukwu to prominence. Had he remained in APGA, APGA would have been a national force.

After his tenure, which was mediocre at best and lackluster, he went to PDP. He did not accomplish anything there, and went to LP where he rode on the back of the Obidient group and mismanaged it. Even in local elections, his candidates exhibit very poor showings. An indication that his political weight is insignificant.

He should not be compared with Tinubu.

Tinubu's vision in Lagos was annoying as it caused short-term hardship and long-term gains as we saw later.

LAWMA was rebranded by Tinubu for waste collection. LAMATA was started by Tinubu, and 20 years on, LAMATA is managing a state-owned rail. LASAMBUS (ambulance services), LASAA (adverts and signage) and tax administration were Tinubu's products.

Yes, we are experiencing short-term pains, but we should be hopeful for long-term rewards. You can see how decisive Tinubu is after pressures on insecurity. His approach is to plan and not jump in. Let us continue to put pressure on him to deliver.

Some people will say that someone saved money. Anyone who gets money for free as allocation can save if he doesn't have investment plans. By now, that state should be fabricating everything under the sun and become economically sustainable if it ever had visionary leadership. If possible, find a Tinubu boy with Tinubu's vision to run that state and give them 12 years.

Meanwhile, some cabinet ministers need to be reviewed and allowed to go. Many of them are a cog in the wheel of development.

I think Tinubu may win in 2027. Since 1999, the opposition has never been in this level of disarray less than 15 months to a major election.

PoliticsRe: Atiku As Obi’s Deputy, ADC’s Only Chance To Defeat Tinubu – Ohanaeze’s Igboayaka by emkz: 6:37am On Dec 02, 2025
Obi's presidential ambition has been reduced to a charade of charlatanism and dance of the naked in the market square.

Why exactly is Obi afraid to build and compete?

He could not compete in PDP and ran to LP. He had a strong base of the youth and mismanaged it and embraced religion. He was not involved in the adoption of ADC, but his followers are dictating that he must be given the ticket.

If anyone thinks an Obi can defeat a Bola Tinubu, that person is a charlatan. To defeat Tinubu, he needs to defeat Atiku. But he is afraid to compete for the ticket against Atiku.

Morris Monye, former director of mobilization of the Obidient Movement said, in his lengthy resignation letter, that Peter Obi is detached from the activities of the movement and is more interested in the optics of political philanthropy.

Peter Obi wants to be handed everything without working for it. He was adopted as the Obidient Movement force. What did he do with it? The performances of the LP and those he supported in by elections the impotence of his local weight in political engineering. If Obi cannot compete, let him continue his philanthropy and trading, and leave politics for politicians.

He is being considered for ADC running mate to Atiku.

PoliticsRe: Insecurity: Tinubu Should Apologise To Victimised Communities — Bakare by emkz:
Would an apology change anything?

Woukd it bring back the dead?

Would it make the victims safer?

The issue is that terrorists have no fear for the government of the day. Terrorists taunt government by kidnapping children and collecting ransom. When we hear that the military rescued kidnap victims without a single terrorist kpaied, it simply means there was an exchange.

We are hearing that sponsors of terrorism would be exposed. What happened to those exposed last year? What happened to Captain Tijani Balarabe who supervised the murder of policemen who had arrested kidnapper Wadume in Tarana state? Why do we always find that security personnel sell arms to kidnappers? If we investigate the kidnapping, we won't be shocked if security personnel provide cover while kidnappers carry out their raids.

During the time of CG Musa, we read reports of terrorists killed on daily basis. What now happened?

We are joking if we kill hungry boys who carry out the acts while ignoring their leaders and sponsors. We must also purge security agencies of bad eggs and terror informants like the DSS has done.

With the likes of Bello Turji, Dogo Gide, Dankirimi, Dangote (not Aliko), Buharindaji (late), Albert Yankuzo, and terror lords roaming free and "enjoying" their evil careers, others would be inspired to want to be like them or join them.

If we are serious, they should be cleared decisively.

CelebritiesRe: Prince Nwafor: One Of The Most Underrated Nollywood Actors (Photos) by emkz: 6:03pm On Nov 30, 2025
I think one reason for him being underrated is that he was not stereotyped or given lead roles.

For example, actors like Kenneth Okonkwo and Clem Ohameze are known to be the ones to cause problems in the make quick money cult. Kanayo O. Kanayo is the one known for being unbothered in his group. Patience Ozorkwor carved a niche as a wicked mother inlaw.

As someone said above, some actors lack the ability to charm viewers. Nkem Owoh was not well known when he played the roles of the village drunkard. That was not his area of strength. Viewers want to see some part of themselves in actors. Prince Nwafor playing the role of the troublesome village rascal did not resonate well with people. I think he did not find his area of strength.
