PoliticsRe: Panic In ADC As EFCC Goes After Key Members by emkz: 6:27am On Aug 12, 2025
If you commit a crime or there is a petition against you, EFCC must not touch you because you are in ADC. It would be seen as victimization.

This is the new Nigeria coalition wants. If there is a case against anyone, let him clear himself first before coming to rescue Nigeria. Many of the rescuers want to get close to power to escape prosecution.

If Tinubu or any of his party members are found wanting after their tenure, let EFCC also go after them. Afterall, Code of COnduct Bureau docked Tinubu in 2012 or so and Tinubu attended it without crying victimization. Same Code of Conduct docked Saraki as sitting senate president, and heavens did not fall either.
PoliticsRe: BoT, NEC, Others Endorse Nafiu Bala As Acting ADC National Chairman by emkz: 5:47am On Aug 12, 2025
The coalition is falling apart. Atiku cannot handle it. Atiku cannot wrestle to build anything.

Atiku, be a man and seize the party. Tinubu seized control of APC in 2022. Be bold like Tinubu.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Offended Me, He’s Full Of Himself – Babachir Lawal by emkz: 5:39am On Aug 12, 2025
How exactly did Tinubu offend Babachir?

He argued that Tinubu did not acknowledge those who supported him to become president. Didn't this same Babachir openly support Obi and spike against Tinubu's choice of running mate? Didn't he also argue in his interview that he had data that Obi won the election? Why didn't the data appear during the tribunal hearing?

Many people miscalculated in 2023. Instead of accepting their fate, they are desperately blaming Tinubu.

Babachir, did Tinubu promise you running mate position? What has your lack of forgiveness done to him? You are not even regarded enough to merit a mention by the presidential media spokespersons.

Give up and focus on your coalition if you believe in it.

Also remember during your grasscutting scandal, they asked you about the presidency looking into your case and you asked "which presidency?"

Then you entered your SUV, stuck out your tongue in an ntoyyy way as if mocking journalists. The job of SGF was too big for you. You were rubbing shoulders where you did not belong, and you lost out in the highest level of power. Of what use would Tinubu have for you thereafter?

It matters because commodities such as oil and Natural gas are priced internationally. When the Naira loses value, the unit cost of energy goes up. It is like a tax on the system that limits growth and causes poverty. This should be obvious to you.
It is not obvious to me. My expenses are in naira. I don't think in dollar.

Are you implying that oil and natural gas used for energy production within Nigeria have a dollar component? This is not obvious to me at all.

PoliticsRe: Corruption, Bad Leadership Responsible For Increasing Hunger, Poverty - Obi by emkz: 9:55am On Aug 11, 2025
It is true that corruption and bad leadership are the promoters of poverty.

1. How many industries did the sudden anti-poverty crusader build while he held sway in Anambra?

2. How many people did nis leadership help to lift out of poverty in Anambra?

3. How many leaders did he train to sustain his economic ideas in Anambra?

4. By how much did he raise revenue in Anambra? Some naysayers argued that if he had the revenue in Lagos, he could have done wonders. But someone increased the revenue in Lagos. Why couldn't the sudden miracle worker do the same for Anambra?

5. What happened to the money he claimed he saved?

6. Where is he getting the money he is investing for his electoral future?

Is he insulating himself from the bad leadership and corruption he is agonizing about?
PoliticsRe: Naira Stable As External Reserves Hit $40.15 Billion, Highest In Eight Months by emkz: 6:41am On Aug 11, 2025
As this news will cause pains to certain individuals, they'd now go and look for negative news and go on twitter to stitch stories and talk about the uncultivated land in the north and meaningless things.

They are averse to progressive news about their country.

They are also notorious for going to land that doesn't belong to them to make skits. If you say the land belonged to your brother, how come he never appeared in any of your skits to be nodding his head when you are claiming ownership of what doesn't belong to you?

Nigeria is rising. Economic indices are improving. States are now solvent. Coalition is confused about their economic plans.

Nigeria is winning. Every enemy of Nigeria shall gnash their teeth in pain and sorrow.

Amen.
PoliticsRe: ADC Will Not Tolerate Any Form Of Indiscipline, Anti-party Activity – David Mark by emkz: 5:28am On Aug 11, 2025
But yoy granted waivers to El Rufai and Peter Obi to remain in their parties and be doing ADC. That is anti-party to their legacy parties and that is anti-party to ADC because they are not fully committed.

ADC is turning into a failed political experiment. Atiku is sorely realizing it which is why he has taken a back seat.

They start promoting false information that Muhammed Babangida rejected his appointment, and that Fayemi, Ambode and Boss Mustapha joined their fold.
PoliticsRe: Ambode Denounces Whatsapp Messages Announcing His Defection To ADC by emkz: 5:23am On Aug 11, 2025
ADC has suffered too many blows.

Atiku has denied it by refusing to register.

Obi has denied it by refusing to join.

El Rufai has denied it by refusing to leave SDP.

PDP big wigs like Saraki have distanced themselves from it.

Fayemi, Boss Mustapha and Ambode have denounced it.

It shows that the likes of Lauretta Onochie, Malami, El Rufai, Babachir, Abbo (the slapper), and Aregbesola lack the weight for influencing anything or mass movement. Some may argue that it is still about a year and half to general elections. Yet, ADC has no structures in states. The party has many factions, the national publicity secretary is struggling to defend a sinking boat.

ADC has turned into A Disgruntled Circus.

Paul Ibe, Phrank Shaibu, Dele Momodu, where is Atiku?

FG, this is wrong and suspicious.

What about the families of those who lost loved ones? Have they been rehabilitated? What about communities destroyed?

I think this rehabilitation is encouraging crime. There must be punishment for crimes to deter others.

The failure of this rehabilitation exercise is manifested when Niger governor complained that rehabilitated criminals were causing security problems in his state.

Except you are naive, you cannot deradicalize these people.

It is cheaper to send them on a permanent appointment in hell than re-integrate them to society.

You are telling them that crime has reward. That is why new groups like Lakurawa emerge.

Please stop deceiving the public and treat criminals like criminals.

At the end, ADC would turn out to be a political experiment by those who had a vaulting ambition to grab power.

The coalition has largely failed. If not, which state does ADC have an office? Even Atiku cannot set up an office in Adamawa.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Won Rivers State In 2023 – Rotimi Amaechi by emkz: 7:13pm On Aug 09, 2025
Same way Obi got 1.2 million votes in Plateau and 3.5 million votes in Bauchi and 6 million votes in Lagos.

If Amaechi, Atiku and Obi believed Obi won, how come they were fixated on false double nomination of Shettima? How come someone was talking about forfeiture and did not find anyone from the US to corroborate the claim? How come they never supplied alternative figures to counter what INEC declared?

How come no one ever asked to recount the votes like was done in Florida?
PoliticsRe: Count us out of Abia ADC coalition talks, endorsements - Abaribe, Akobundu by emkz: 5:19am On Aug 07, 2025
In 2014, people openly identified with APC. Governors joined. Representatives too.

But ADC has faced many denials. Even Atiku has not signed up. Ireti Kingibe has not reported her decamping from LP.

Obi has not signed up.

El Rufai has not even signed up. ADC came up with a strange policy that politicians can stay in their legacy parties and work for ADC. Instead of convincing them to join their train, they are doing strange things.

Serious politicians see the ADC as an SPV that they cannot invest their faith in. Atiku has been out of the country for almost three weeks probably thinking he might have miscalculated.

By now, ADC should have gained traction. But the politicians doing coalition are only after power.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Will Remove Wike After He Secures South-south - Sule Lamido by emkz: 6:24am On Aug 06, 2025
Yes, he will remove Wike after his second term and after securing the southsouth and appoint Lamido as his strategic fellow.

Tinubu knows the weight of Wike. Wike has influence in southsouth PDP. He ensured legacy PDP in Edo worked against Obaseki's candidate. Obaseki had visited him to seek support after Obaseki had published an article castigating Wike. Also the G5 states Wike and his group had influence were not won by Atiku. Tinubu won Benue, Rivers and Oyo. Obi won Enugu and Abia.

It is that person Tinubu would remove?

This kind of thinking is why Sule Lamido is politically weak.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Too Many Sprinters In ADC, They Need To Slow Down  —  Lamido by emkz: 6:14am On Aug 06, 2025
When APC was formed, there was an agreement on who'd go first.

After two blocs (ACN and CPC) worked to ensure his victory at Onikan Stadium, a hard-fought victory, Atiku did not fully commit to working for APC but did not undermine it either.

Now in ADC, they cannot even agree on an election to select their flagbearer. One bloc wants a democratic primary, another bloc wants undemocratic installation because they know their man has no chance.

Let ADC set a democratic example. It doesn't have to go the way of the failed coalition between Kingsley Moghalu, Fela Durotoye and Oby Ezekwesili.

Sadly, that is the direction we are seeing.

I think there is freedom of association, and Atiku can recruit retired politicians to help his project.

The dividends of APC reforms must be seen from now until December 2026, else ADC with the retired retinue of disgruntled politicians would have a chance.

Attacking ADC will not solve the problem. Get to work.

We need forward thinkers. We need innovative leaders. We need articulate leaders. We do not need emergency food servers and people fighting over land they claimed belonged to their brother, a brother who has not presented himself.

We need people who are able to come up with solutions and track record of sustainable projects delivered.

Any serious politician would not promise one term or say he is not desperate, but would discuss solutions that would make him appealing to those whose votes he wants. Discussing the solutions has become impossible because the brainpower for such is missing.

They just want to win elections to tackle their own personal unemployment.

Among all those doing coalition, how many of them are exactly gainfully employed?

How many of them actually have paying jobs?

What job does Rotimi Amaechi do? Atiku?

Politics is their job.

If 48 months can bring positive change, how come Anambra is not the model state in Nigeria?

With the ability of Nnewi to fabricate anything, it would have been a hub for manufacturing in Nigeria. Buy engine and show it to Nnewi boys. Ask them to make 1,000 and you have a market already within Nigeria. Is it pot or spoons or bottles? But due to myopic leadership, Anambra is not the model state expected.

Of everything a sensible person could think of, establishing a brewery was the best investment to come up with.

Today, he says he wants to lift people out of poverty. How? He says he'd cultivate the fertile land in the north; how many did he cultivate as governor in Anambra? He claims he'd do only one term. Yet, he doesn't want to face a primary contest in their coalition. He wants to be handed the ticket. Ask him his template for solving insecurity, unemployment. Ask him why he condemned the coastal road project which is supporting many families through employment. He was bullied to produce a manifesto in 2022 and he claimed Tinubu copied his manifesto. How can Tinubu copy what did not exist?

We need forward thinkers. We need innovative leaders. We need articulate leaders. We do not need emergency food servers and people fighting over land they claimed belonged to their brother, a brother who has not presented himself.

Your principal Peter Obi, what's his stake in ADC? Who are his political allies in the coalition?
Imagine Obidients giving conditions of "Obi or nothing" to Atiku and El Rufai. They know Obi is a tool in the hand of the mob. They have seen how the likes of Kenneth Okonkwo and Valentine Ozigbo parted ways due to Obi's leadership lapses. They see the likes of Yunusa Tanko, Morris Monye, Aisha Yesufu, Nana Kazaure and Moses Paul and study their missteps and realize their value is social media noise and lack the skills for proper political engineering.

If they were so competent, they'd be sought out to be involved. But even the do not control the Obidient Movement which thrives on rudderlessness and self-selusion.

The possible marginalization could be that in the gathering of hawks, chickens can only serve as meals and not decision makers.

The Obidient Movement has not prepared itself as a formidable force to be reckoned with. They mostly gaslight and chest-thump on their self importance on digital media. They lack the gravitas for grassroots penetration.

The coalition doesn't want the Obidient votes; they want about a third of it. Additionally, attacks on Atiku and the insistence on Obi or nothing do not give room for trust.
PoliticsObidient Movement Complains Of Marginalization In ADC Coalition by emkz(op): 5:24am On Aug 04, 2025
Leaked memo: Obidient Movement petitions Obi over ADC marginalisation

Fresh cracks appear to be emerging within the coalition led by the African Democratic Congress, following a leaked memo from the Obidient Movement to Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

In the memo, the movement raised the alarm over alleged marginalisation of members in key decision-making processes.

The ADC was unveiled on July 2, 2025, as a coalition party to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

At the event were the interim national chairman, David Mark, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Obi, former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, among others.

Barely one month after its unveiling, Obi has yet to formally join the party, though the interim national publicity secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, said the party had given him and El-Rufai the waiver to remain in their legacy parties for now.

In a document dated July 29, 2025, and signed by the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Dr Tanko Yunusa, the group accused the coalition of marginalising its members despite their pivotal role in strengthening the political bloc.

The memo obtained by our correspondent read, "We write on behalf of the Obidient Movement to express our severe grievances regarding recent developments within the coalition's systems.

"Our people are deliberately excluded at all levels.

While we remain committed to the shared vision of building a united and formidable front for the task ahead, we must raise the following issues that our members have repeatedly flagged."

Listing their grievances, Tanko cited lack of inclusion in major deliberations.

According to him, none of Obi’s loyalists was deemed good enough to share a table with the ADC decision makers.

"Several of our designated representatives and members are reportedly being excluded from crucial meetings where major decisions affecting the coalition are made.

"This creates an impression of marginalisation and undermines trust, which is essential for building a sustainable partnership," he lamented.

The Obidients also faulted what was described as "non-existent representation," insisting the coalition’s current structure did not reflect its strength and contribution.

The movement coordinator, therefore, urged Obi to wade into the matter without delay.

"The current structure does not reflect the Obidient Movement’s strength and contribution to this coalition.

"We strongly believe that there should be at least one working committee member and one non-working committee member representing the Obidient Movement in each geopolitical zone," the memo stressed.

"We believe these measures are crucial to building trust and repositioning the coalition for success.

"We look forward to you resolving this with the party leadership in the spirit of the new Nigeria we want to build.”

The development is already generating ripples among stakeholders, with fears that the rift, if unresolved, could undermine the coalition’s chances ahead of the 2027 polls.

Ojulari already committed several blunders within four months.

1. He approved that management retreat to Kigali that used 5 private jets to ferry senior and mid-management staff. That was poor management decision.

2. His deals with Atiku's son inlaw shows he doesn't understand the high-stakes involved in public sector management. Mele Kyari avoided the dude, but Ojulari carried him on his head.

3. We applauded his appointment. But instead of coming up with sensible ideas to ramp up production, he is accused of hobnobbing with a money launderer.

Let him resign if he did shady deals.
PoliticsRe: PDP Has Been Bought By APC – Dino Melaye by emkz: 7:10am On Aug 02, 2025
PDP did not get to her knees within a day. It was the result of the collective actions and inactions of the likes of Dino Melaye, Bukola Saraki, Atiku Abubakar, Aminu Tambuwal and those who abandoned the party between 2013 and 2015 to join APC. Wike stayed behind to hold the party until the political nomads returned. Atiku's first order of business was to undermine the party by choosing Peter Obi.as running mate against wishes of southeast PDP caucus who had wanted Ike Ekweremadu. Wike was sidelined after the 2019 election loss despite contributing to Atiku's campaign. In 2022-2023, there were series of betrayals. Tambuwal betrayed Wike by stepping down for Atiku despite Wike supporting him in PDP primaries in 2018 which was won by Atiku. Atiku betrayed Wike by refusing to take him as running mate. Peter Obi who ran with Atiku in 2019 betrayed Atiku and PDP by splitting PDP's votes. Wike took his pound of flesh and betrayed Atiku, Tambuwal, Ayu, and PDP. Now, Atiku and Dino have betrayed PDP.

Who says they won't betrayed Nigeria for personal political comfort?

When ADC loses or collapses due to entrenched interests, who says the party won't be betrayed?

They can change parties, but the attribute of betrayal and Judas Iscariotism remains, and this is why they can't be politically stable or win elections.

The law says you can't belong to two political parties. Atiku only resigned from PDP. He has not defected to ADC until now. Obi doesn't want to jump into ADC when Atiku has not done so.
