No sensible politician would play politics with national security. There have been tweets by Tinubu where he condemned Jonathan in the past for insecurity. There are also reports that some APC politicians went to report to USA about Jonathan's handling of security.

They were wrong making such a move.

At times like this, everyone would put hands together to work together to end this madness that has bedevilled our nation for decades. We must put country first.

What does this mean?

1. Amnesty and negotiation with bandits and terrorists are not the solution. Doing that gives them the upper hand. So repentant bandits or terrorists must end. Anyone who takes the life of another for any reason that is illegal should legally forfeit his.

2. Security is the responsibility of all. There should be a central reporting system for citizens to report their suspicions.

3. Soldiers should be given the order to take out these people. We can't treat them with kid gloves.

4. Phone calls should be monitored to track planned attacks. Bank accounts should also be monitored. In case of large withdrawals for cash-based logistics, banks should notify authorities for monitoring.

5. President Tinubu, your primary responsibility is security of lives and properties. Fastrack the appointment of forest guards and let them get to work.

There are things ADC should be quiet about.

By imposing 15%, it makes imports of the products expensive. Given local production, it gives people the option to buy at local rates or rates adjusted for the 15% import duty. Thus allows investors to invest in local refining and create jobs instead of using forex to fund an overbloated import regime.

Tank farms and subsidies which made people millionaires are now becoming obsolete. Pool resources together and build a refinery or purchase one of the FG refineries and fix it to compete.

I support the 15%. I'd also suggest an increase in import duties for certain categories of cars, wines, textile and consumables like cashew nuts and rice.

Even in Atiku's home state, ADC is in disarray.

Atiku makes one mistake. He is in bed with those who fell out with their own political parties. There are no guarantees they won't work against his interest or work against him.

Babachir Lawal went from Buhari to Tinubu to Obi and now Atiku. That is consistency in jumpology politics. That would affect party structures in Adamawa too.

The ADC experiment has largely failed due to the inability of the party to take off outside social media.

ADC is obviously an experiment. Those promoting it are unsure. If they could not organize in Labour Party and PDP, how can they organize in ADC?

ADC cannot win the 2027 elections. Currently, the party is not organized to be competitive. Their spokesman is also shallow on policy but loud on conspiracies.

Since Tinubu won presidency, he has been under threat from certain quarters. I think the man should be allowed to govern. There was no coup threat during Buhari's tenure. Someone went to Chicago to ensure he wasn't sworn in by fabricating tales of non-attendance of a university in Chicago. Many who cannot manage their political parties have accused him of one-party dictatorship. There seems like a huge network of disgruntled politicians willing to fund unrest for change.

They forget one thing.

Abiola assumed Abacha would take over government and hand over to him. Any politician who thinks he'd fund a military coup and benefit from it exhibits the reason he failed as a politician: lack of political intelligence.

We should also decide the type of government we want and stick with it. Anyone planning an illegal change of government should face trial and receive the ultimate price for treason. Politicians and political soldiers must not ruin this country because they lost elections.

Sometimes, calculated unrest are formented by some to justify regime change. We must resist illegal attempt on government. Anyone who cannot contest fairly and squarely should not be involved in politics.

We reject the dark days of the military where freedom was never guaranteed.

There is zero ideology in politics in Nigeria.

We need a vibrant opposition. It does not help for politicians to jump ship. Those who lost the 2023 elections are not even certain of the party to belong.

Let those in opposition learn from Tinubu. He has stayed in the same political family since 1999. They call themselves progressives. Those who are politically unstable cannot stabilize a country.

Why are Obi and his cohort afraid of free and fair primaries?

In politics, since 1999, everyone in major parties who went on to fly the party's flag contested in primaries. Atiku has contested in primaries and lost some squarely and won some squarely. Obidients want to change the rules to make it easy for them. They are not democrats but autocrats. They are not even part of ADC, but are throwing tantrums about the rules.

I think the young kings need to be given orientation about how to conduct themselves.

Has she apologized to her colleagues for yelling on the floor of the senate? Has she apologized to Senator Karimi for insulting his mother? Has she apologized to Nigerians for seizing our slot in Interparliamentary Union to say she was victimized?

Nigerian women, are you victimized for being women? If Nigerian women were being victimized, how come Natasha became a senator? How come we have other female senators? How come we have female CEOs, ministers and heads of parastatals? How come we have female deputy governors?

For many weeks, the Arise Morning Show, especially Rufai Oseni, have been baying for blood in Rivers State. They have been beating the drums of war as if to conflagrate the crises in Rivers State. He has done it again this morning on their show by asking you to tell us what you have up your sleeves. As a political tactician, you do not disclose your strategy, and do not fall for that bait to talk to amplify the crisis.

Governor Sim Fubara, do not allow Rufai Oseni mislead you to fight Wike. Those of us who want peace in Rivers State do not see you as a weakling.

Please also ask your appointees to refrain from granting press interviews to discuss the crises. If they must grant press interviews, let them promote your agenda and talk about your projects for the Rivers people. That is how you win fights.

PLEASE avoid Rufai Oseni's tantrums. He benefits from controversies.

Do not allow him or Arise News mislead you. If they were so good with PR, how come their PR stunts could not help Atiku Abubakar win elections and save Godwin Emefiele? Anyone who encourages you to fight Wike and put Rivers State in the news for wrong reasons doesn't like you and want you to fail to prove their influence over you.

El-Rufai detested Yar'adua because he felt Yar'adua benefitted from what El-Rufai felt entitled to.

El-Rufai said a lot of negative things against Atiku because he saw Atiku as a threat to his relevance in 2007.

El-Rufai accused Jonathan Zwingina and Ibrahim Mantu of asking him for bribes to confirm him as minister.

El-Rufai has accused NSA Ribadu of negotiating with terrorists as he is threatened by Ribadu's rising profile in the north and as a potential successor of Tinubu. It seems Ribadu was behind the security reports that were used to nullify El-Rufai's ministerial bid.

El-Rufai is fighting Uba Sani for being pushed to irrelevance in Kaduna politics.

El-Rufai was intolerant of opposition in Kaduna state.

El-Rufai demolished the house of Senator Hunkuyi. He was nicknamed "bulldozer".

El-Rufai promised that EU observers in the 2019 elections would return in body bags.

A dictator is someone who believes it must be his way or those opposed must suffer.

So between El-Rufai and Tinubu, who is dictatorial?

If Tinubu's government is full-blown dictatorship, will Atiku be able to say it in public?

The 2023 elections exposed the bitterness of Atiku. Atiku showed he lacked capacity for resolving conflict and bringing people together.

Tinubu ensured he courted those he defeated until elections. Osinbajo even headed Tinubu's legal team. Tinubu also resolved issues between Magnus Abe and Wike.

Atiku could not resolve the quarrel between Wike and Ayu and Wike and Tambuwal. Atiku's own leadership lapses cost him the presidency. Instead of accepting defeat with grace, he shopped for mago-mago means to unseat Tinubu. He failed and has now resorted to calling Tinubu a dictator.

Atiku, which opposition politician has been killed in Tinubu's government? During the Obasanjo/Atiku government, the following were killed and murders unresolved till today:

1. Bola Ige
2. Harry Marshal
3. Ayo Daramola
4. Funsho Williams among others.

Also, Nigeria experienced the worst electoral heist in 2003 which benefitted Obasanjo and Atiku, but was successfully used against Atiku in 2007. Obasanjo dismissed Atiku as VP and kicked him out of PDP. Tinubu gave Atiku political shelter in AC.

Today, Atiku is clutching on straws. El Rufai has seen the handwriting on the wall and is now saying Tinubu wants to be a life president.

Please, how can someone whom El Rufai claimed would come 3rd become a life president? Either El Rufai is dull or he is telling lies.

There is no seriousness in Atiku about being president.

What is the use of ex-CPC chairmen endorsing Atiku, only to deny? Would they do this while Buhari was alive?

Recall that El Rufai wanted to rope Buhari into his defection drama by stating that he had informed Buhari of his defection to SDP. Buhari was to publicly dissociate himself from El Rufai's antics and committed himself to APC.

While Buhari was sick, some of his former appointees like Lauretta Onochie were doing opposition.

Any Buhari's appointee who sides with the opposition is opposed to Buhari, and shows they were never Buharists or Buharideens. While Buhari was alive, those endorsing Atiku were hardly active. Buhari is the heart and soul of CPC. Without him, those parading as CPC men are weak.

That said, Atiku has not built a machinery to wrestle power from Tinubu. Atiku has not stabilized ADC. He is busy visiting El Rufai who lied that Tinubu wants to stay forever. He visits Pantami. Atiku inherited Yar'adua's People's Democratic Movement and mismanaged it. In the unlikely event that he inherits Buhari's followers, he'd mismanage it.

Atiku had the presidency on the platter in 2023. Everything was against Tinubu. Naira redesign, fuel scarcity, hatred for APC. But Atiku mismanaged it by not managing Wike and Kwankwaso and Obi. After he lost, he mismanaged it by using petulant strategies that Tinubu did not graduate from Chicago. He wasted time proving nothing, time he could have used to start building a party and mobilizing a movement.

Now, the strategy for 2027 is strategic lies.

3. One was vice president. He presided over the privatization that ruined many businesses and families. Sale of government assets were mismanaged. NITEL that could have become a national telecom carrier was mismanaged and lives of NITEL staff were ruined as some of them have not had meaningful employment till date. Same man admitted to paying power sector contractors 100% upfront, who ran away. He said he felt emotive about it. They held the levers of power and never arrested contractors who took our patrimony and disappeared. It seems the funds were used to settle party boys. Same man told us he'd make his friends rich because his friends were entitled to be rich from government patronage so long as there is no tinge of corruption in it. He forgets there is conflict of interest.

Those talking about rescuing Nigeria had their time. They failed. They can take the backseat and allow purposeful leaders take the reigns.

1. Tinubu removed the subsidy which was draining our finances. Crude oil were mortgaged to pay subsidy.
2. The forex market was equilibrated. Government stopped subsidizing dollars.
3. Student loans were activated and the indigent could go to school without breaking a sweat.
4. Tinubu stopped talking and started the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway which would open new economic frontiers through the south-west and Niger Delta. Arise News, Atiku, Peter Obi and Rufai Oseni campaigned vigorously against it.
5. Tinubu started the national health fellows programme to harness manpower for the health sector.
6. Allocations were increased to states. States could be solvent and meet their debt obligations. Some people argued that the allocations decreased in dollar terms. Why exactly is that relevant if the local currency is not dollars?
7. Universities received projects for off-grid electricity.
8. They lied that he bought a yacth. Until today, no one has seen any yacth. No one bothered to ask.
9. They said he bought a new presidential jet. Is presidential jet Tinubu's property?


There are some who pray for Nepal to happen in Nigeria. They don't love the country. They want it to burn because they are not in charge.

Peter Obi started the accusation that when he met Yar'adua, Yar'adua called INEC chairman and said he didn't want problems in any party. Now Tambuwal is blaming Tinubu for causing problems in opposition parties.

These people are not prepared to lead Nigeria. They just want employment. If someone instigated a threat against your party, you defuse the threat. Coming out to say it is an admission of defeat. If they had control of their party, no one would destabilize it.

In the unlikely event they become leaders and there are threats against national security, would the blame someone or quell the problem?

Come back to the country and build ADC. Tinubu started building his party from Lagos. He won the southwest states you and Obasanjo committed am electoral heist on. In 2013, he teamed up with Buhari and today, he is president. From 2007, he was building, helping and supporting. You cannot even build ADC for two years and you are calling Tinubu authoritarian.

Despite the popularity of Muhammadu Buhari, he learnt after three election cycles that the best chance was to cooperate with other regions.

APC is today the political behemoth PDP became from 2003 to 2015. Instead of Atiku and Obi to agree to work together, each is claiming the right to contest.

Let it be said, Tinubu never won the 2023 election. The division in the opposition split their majority votes and Tinubu got the prize for their division. INEC did not rig. Tinubu did not rig. The opposition was divided. They do not want to acknowledge their failure, which is why it would be repeated again.

They are already splitting towards 2027 while Tinubu is holding his ground strong and winning a majority in the senate by meeting opposition lawmakers and winning them over.

Atiku announced his presidential ambition in ADC and everywhere went quiet. Many of the CPC bloc promised by Malami excluded themselves. Instead of Atiku and Obi to be on ground and actually build a party, they expect others to do it while they are on Twitter singing lousy songs of lamentations.

The coalition has failed.

These people come up with various investment schemes and people fall for it.

Please, do not ever invest in a business you do not understand. I attend crypto and sundry start-ups. Many of them are buzzwords for gambling. The problem is that the gamblers prefer to use your money and not theirs/. Have you every seen a casino owner on the poker table placing bets? They use your own money against you.

Once you start hearing invest and get 50% return on your investment within two weeks, you are the job.

The desperation is strong.

If you have money and you need returns, approach Igbo businessmen or market women who want to scale up. Give them money and tell them to return the capital with 5% interest. Reinvest the capital and interest in their business and ask for your 5%. That is how you help them and yourself. Many of them need this.
