Since the return to democracy, the Idomas have been marginalised at the state level due to the numerical strength of the Tivs while all attempt to replicate that at the national level has met a brick wall in David Mark.

It will be a sorry story for the Idomas if they foolishly vote for APC in this rerun because, it will become a lose lose situation on all front and Akume will become the undisputed political godfather of Benue state
