Good day. I'm hearing that there are new rules for UK visa application now. As regards d maintenance money you must show.
For inner London, its now £1000/mnth. For outer London its now £800/month.
This is serious o!

Just to add. I'm 100% sure dat u can't pay anytin oda dan ur fees & accommodation 2 ur skool.
Last year I hd d same problem coz I couldn't leave it in d bank 4 28 days. After emailing d skool, d Head of admissions called me in person to say dat dey aren't allowed 2 by d UKBA. Just be sure.

Thanks for your help. I just have a couple more questions.

1. My admission is for September entry. How soon can I apply for my visa coz last year I left it too late.

2. I had 2 visa rejections last year due to: I submitted my dad's company account statement and d second time d ECO said it was past my late registration date by about 2 weeks.
If I apply now, will my past 2 rejections put me in a negative angle?

The uni will tell you if you need to write any English language test, it should be stated in your CAS as well.

If you have your CAS and have had your money for 28days in your account then you can apply.

You don't need to secure accommodation before applying for visa, its not part of the requirements, as long as you have your maintenance fees then you are fine.

Don't pay anybody from Gumtree a penny until you get to the UK, see the room, sign tenancy agreement before paying else you are in for a scam.

You can pay for just a semester accommodation with your school and rent privately after the first semester.

@ Justwise, pls I need assistance. I have aan unconditional offer from a Highly Trusted Sponsor. Do I need to write an english language test like IELTS?
Also how do I proceed coz I already have the funds for my fees.
Also pls advice me on how I should go about securing accommodation becoz d university halls are quite expensive. If I get one through Gumtree or UNITE is it accepptable to the BHC wen I apply for my visa?

I have about £1000 in my own account in my name that has been there for about 30days.
I ran out of options.

The admissions officer in Aberdeen also told me to take the step, and said I need to have only about £500 in my account to convince the UKBA.

My school is the university of Aberdeen. The Accomodation is a university hall of residence, & is catered. I didn't have a choice coz it is already too late and to keep d funds in my account for 28days would make me miss this sept entry. The thinking is that since in my refusal letter its stated that I need £18600 we might be able to convince the UKBA if I took d accomodation. Would it work? I have more to survive on but can't keep it in my aaccount for 28 days.

@ Justwise. My accomodation fee is £5,200. I'm using my account with only about N300k.

I was refused UK visa previously coz I submitted my dad's corporate account during my application. I am applying again but this time I have paid my tuition & accommodation fees in full {I only paid £100 previously} a total of £17,400. Please is there anything else I should do to make my application successful?
Do I need to show more proof of funds? Hw much?
Do I need a sponsorship letter from my dad again?
Is there any other reason I can be refused again since the only reason I ws refused was coz of the company account?

is there anything i can supply like tax clearance? because my dad is the sole signatory to the account?

the hospital is my dads own and he is the sole signatory to the account.
Also time is running out as the funds have to be there for at least 28 days.

The end of which must not be more than one month before the date of your application, for which you must show bank statements. Your remaining tuition fees are GBP13200 and your remaining maintenance is GBP 5400. Total GBP18600. As evidence you submitted statements of ………, clinic and maternity. Whilst you may have access to these funds in the company bank account, this account is not evidence of your personal funds and you have not provided evidence that this company operates in more than one country. Therefore it’s not acceptable. I am therefore not satisfied that you have achieved the required 10 points. And therefore refuse your visa application.
Please what do I do since I want to apply again?
