It was gathered that the incident occurred about forty minutes ago with residents and motorists scampering for safety. Presently, REPORTNAIJA cannot independently verify the cause of the incident. According to grassroots radio, Radio One FM, some vandals were reported to have been spotted around the exploded pipeline days ago. The radio platform also tweeted that the exploded pipeline leads to Ayobo community in the Ipaja end of Lagos Mainland. Meanwhile, the incident has led to different internet users expressing their fears across their various social media platforms. Rescue officers are urged to rush to the scene to help prevent loss of lives and damage to properties. More updates to follow. President Muhammadu Buhari has withheld his assent on the Peace Corps of Nigeria establishment bill recently passed by the National Assembly. His rejection of the bill was contained in a communication to the legislature today (Tuesday). The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, has just read the letter to members in plenary.
