hunee:Noted. Thank you very much. |
hunee:Thank you for your reply. In my own case, I submitted my study visa application at VFS global office in Lagos State. The online tracking has been displaying " application received and under assessment at the South Africa High Commission in Lagos State Nigeria". Do I need to address the follow up letter through DHL, to the embassy in Abuja or the one in Lagos State. |
hunee:Sir, are you implying that sending an electronic mail will not suffice. |
doz:With this your revelation, I wonder when I am going to get a reply from them. It's almost 5 months you submitted your application and no reply. Mine will be 2 months by next week. |
doz:I submitted my application for a study visa since July this year. I am yet to get a feedback from them too. Though I have been tracking the process online. And I often called VFS global office in Lagos, to follow up. The last time I called, I was told it could take up to two months before I get a reply. The online tracking kept displaying " your application is received and under assessment at the South Africa High Commission in Lagos". |
hunee:Thank you |
Emmamay10:👆 Is there anyone that can help me out with this enquiry? |
Good morning house. I want to inquired, if I could use ARM investment managers statement of account as my POF for study visa application. Thanks |
I could feel your pain. I was at the interview too. After being interviewed by the woman, she said they will get back to me if I'm shortlisted. I said okay ma. I was already out of the compound when the guy that was coordinating the interview called me back, after which an employment form was given to me, together with two guarantor's forms. I was told to submit them latest by next week Monday. |
Construction industry to the rescue. That's one of the multiplier effects of construction sites. Just take painkiller, you will be fine. Better days ahead. |
At the final phase of the interview, I was called to meet their MD During the course of our discussion, the dude asked me why I am yet to marry after asking for my age. I felt annoyed. I wanted to smack his bald head, but I maintained my calm. In a nutshell, we ended up laughing loud when he asked again if I were a 'Ibo man', knowing fully well that I am a Yoruba man.. |
Uk. Uromi Kingdom to be precise in Edo State. Very lovely people and atmosphere. |
Uk. Uromi Kingdom to be precise. Very lovely people and cool atmosphere. You will see them greeting you, calling corper once you are on your uniform. I could remember dating one of their daughters. This lady was stubborn and also lively. There was a day she came around and said we should attend a wedding ceremony. I said no problem. On getting to the venue, music was blaring everywhere. UK people don't joke with dj business. After some time, I asked about her relatives because I knew some of them. I couldn't find any. Only for her to informed me that she just felt like attending a wedding. I was like what! So you don't know the celebrants and you brought me here. I gave her stern warming not to try that with me again. When the floor was opened for everyone to dance, she said we should go dancing. I declined but she went dancing. I was just looking at her. Anyways, I enjoyed the food we were served sha. |
What will American haters say now? |
I hope the head slammers will not start blaming the US for this development. Kudos to the Iranians for fighting for their liberation from the hands of the oppressors. The masses will always prevail when they come together as one. |
The CJN Ariwoola should be suspended as soon as possible, for making such reckless utterances. He is no longer worthy of that position for frolicking with politicians. |
I was so sad reading her narrative about her relationship with the married man. Though the man erred by having extra marital affairs, but the lady betrayed the man, which I believed contributed to his untimely death. If I may ask, why didn't you block the married man when you were still in Nigeria? Did you care about how he was faring when he was still alive? Why the sudden interest in wanting to help the family he left behind? I believe your guilty conscience will continue to torment you until karma finally catch up with you. We men should wise up in our bid to make sacrifices to undeserving people. |
Similar incident happened in US last week, when a bridge that is under construction collapsed. Our third mainland bridge and the lekki -ikoyi link bridge should be given top attention. |
Should we start jumping up and down now after wasting eight productive months. Posterity will judge both the FG and ASUU for the suffering they inflicted on innocent Nigerian students. |
After wasting eight productive months, you people are now talking about light after the tunnel. That thunder light will destroy both the FG and ASUU. |
Senseless talk. This is how PDP were bragging before the 2015 general election, that they will rule Nigeria for 50years. Tinubu should get ready to be ritered permanently. |
ASUU should give up already. |
Sorry man. Thank goodness you had a change of mind. You could have ended up being locked up by now. Things like this are always painful, particularly if you are the committed type in a relationship. If you can't forgive her, just move on with your life. Things happen. |
Ngige touching the ASUU president is not enough. Someone in that meeting could have brought out a firearm and neutralize everyone in the meeting. |
Both the FG and ASUU are useless and irresponsible. |
There is God oo. After lashing someone's daughter endlessly, now you want to port. I will advise you give yourself a break from the lashing, so as to reignite the lost sexual attractions. She is now your burden. You don't need to discharge overused product into the public domain for another innocent man to inherit. |
Jessewizy:Should the FG failure to honour its agreement with ASUU justify the reason why ASUU is aiming to destroy everything in the education sector in Nigeria. After all, the ASUU president once said if their backlog of salaries are not paid, that the system will suffer. These agreements that ASUU is making references to were signed under duress by the previous government, because ASUU held the government to ransom. This is the same approach ASUU is using to force Buhari administration into signing an agreement the government might not be able to implement. ASUU should jettison the idea of wanting to use 'force negotiation' to achieve their goals. They should not act like intelligent bandits. |
Crime is not peculiar to a political party, meaning that they are all bird of a feather. The most important thing is to be mindful of the source of wealth of most people. |
Evil people everywhere. More reason why I often doubt people who try to influence their views on the basis of religion. Most people hide under the pretext of religion to perpetuate evil. |
Hushpuppy gang. They keep flaunting their ill gotten wealth. Meaning that the sources of most wealth are filthy. |
Putin, the tyrant keeps changing his generals all because of an underdog country like Ukraine. Putin should admit that he has failed in Ukraine and rescind his decisions already. Even his closest ally, China is distancing itself from the sham referendum being supervised by Russia Federation. Putin is alone this time around. |
Moscow replaced its top logistics general on Saturday after a series of setbacks as Kremlin-held regions of eastern and southern Ukraine voted for a second day on becoming part of Russia. The changing of the guard comes amid a major mobilisation drive by Russia after the Ukraine invasion revealed widespread logistical difficulties, with Kyiv now taking back more and more territory. Russia’s invasion and recent gains by the Ukrainian army in a lightning counter-offensive have laid bare important logistical flaws with some analysts seeing logistics as the weak link in Moscow’s army. “Army General Dmitry Bulgakov has been relieved of the post of deputy minister of defence” and will be replaced by Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, aged 60, the defence ministry said. Russia’s partial mobilisation announced on Wednesday will likely be one of his first big logistical challenges with the hundreds of thousands of reservists being called up needing to be equipped and trained before deployment. The voting on whether Russia should annex four regions of Ukraine started on Friday, dramatically raising the stakes seven months after Moscow’s troops invaded. US President Joe Biden has dismissed the referendums as a “sham… a false pretext to try to annex parts of Ukraine by force in flagrant violation of international law”. Even Beijing, Moscow’s closest ally since the war began in February, reacted. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi — in comments made to his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba at the UN General Assembly on Friday — said the “sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries must be respected”. The voting is being held in Russian-controlled areas of Donetsk and Lugansk in the east, and Kherson and Zaporizhzhia in the south. – ‘No legitimacy’ – For four days, authorities are going door-to-door for four days to collect votes. Polling stations then open Tuesday for residents to cast ballots on the final day. Results are expected as early as late Tuesday or Wednesday. “Ultimately, things are moving towards the restoration of the Soviet Union. The referendum is one step towards this,” Leonid, a 59-year-old military official, told AFP. The four regions’ integration into Russia would represent a major escalation of the conflict as Moscow would consider any military move there as an attack on its own territory. Ukrainian forces said they were clawing back territory from Moscow-backed separatists in the very lands Russia wants to assimilate. The snap referendums were announced just this week after a Ukrainian counter-offensive seized most of the northeast Kharkiv region — bringing hundreds of settlements back under Kyiv’s control after months of Russian occupation. Irpin, close to the capital, was recaptured after weeks of fighting and residents have rallied round to start rebuilding before winter sets in. Over 100 apartment blocks in Irpin — dubbed a “hero city” by President Volodymyr Zelensky for holding back Russian invaders — were badly damaged by shelling. Head of his building’s residents’ association Mykhailo Kyrylenko looked proudly at the new roof taking shape. “People don’t have much money, but they agreed” to donate funds to gradually restore the shattered homes, he told AFP. – Evidence of ‘war crimes’ – Putin this week warned that Moscow would use “all means” to protect its territory — which former Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev said on social media could include the use of “strategic nuclear weapons”. The referendums recall the one held after Russia annexed Ukraine’s Crimea in 2014. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denounced the polls, on Friday calling them “crimes against international law and the law of Ukraine”. G7 nations declared the polls will “never” be recognised and have “no legal effect or legitimacy”. Otherwise, UN investigators on Friday accused Russia of committing war crimes on a “massive scale” in Ukraine — listing bombings, executions, torture and horrific sexual violence. Erik Mose of the Commission of Inquiry — an investigative team set up by the Security Council in March — said they had seen evidence of a “large number of executions” and the rape and torture of children. In eastern Kharkiv region, Ukrainian officials said Friday they had finished exhuming 447 bodies from a site near the city of Izyum, which was recaptured from Russian forces. “Most of them have signs of violent death, and 30 have signs of torture,” said Kharkiv regional governor Oleg Synegubov. “There are bodies with rope around their necks, with their hands tied, with broken limbs and gunshot wounds.” The Kremlin has accused Kyiv of fabricating evidence of the alleged war crimes.
