Good day people. Please, I want to inquire about the likely costs of bus ticket from Johannesburg to Durban, either in Rand or Naira. And which transport company would you recommend. Thanks. |
I took my time to read this thread from page 1 to page 105, which took me almost two weeks due to tight schedules. It was a great read. I almost completed a 40 leaves book jotting vital information. I am fully equipped now. Kudos to Prof Wip7 and other commenters. |
kunlesmiles:Yes. The issue was resolved after sending many emails to SAQA. In most of my emails, I copied both my certificate awarding institution here in Nigeria, and SAQA. I also followed SAQA on Facebook, and wrote about the issues I was having on their page. After some times, SAQA acknowledged my numerous emails, and apologized for any inconvenience. The verification certificate was eventually sent to me few days later. |
Good day people. Please, I need your urgent advice on what to do. I applied to SAQA for my credentials verification this year January. I have made the payment. After some weeks, I received a mail from SAQA, informing me to make a payment ( credential verification payment) to the credential awarding institution, as requested by the institution. I did immediately and forwarded the payment receipt to SAQA as requested by them. After some days, I contacted my credentials awarding institution to confirm if they have received a mail from SAQA, I was told they are yet to get a mail from SAQA, as regard my credentials verification . I sent a mail to SAQA about the development, no reply up til now. I sent another email copying both SAQA and my credentials awarding institution, yet nothing. According to SAQA, I only have 3 weeks for my credentials awarding institution to respond to them , in order to avoid cancellation. This timeline will elapsed this week Wednesday. I don't know what to do. |

Omix2:Noted thanks |
Good day people. Please, what would be the budget/airfare from Lagos, Nigeria to Durban, South Africa ? Round trip ticket. |
Anu24:I used Kenya airways flight itinerary. Return flight. I guess it doesn't matter if the proposed travel time elapsed before you get your Visa. In my own case, I submitted my application in the month of July, and I got approval in December. |
Africankel:Noted thanks |
oluayebenz:I am also viewing it in this direction too.. |
Sojeezy247:I am thinking perhaps I should get an affidavit. Though all the names are correctly spelt, just the arrangement between the first and middle name. |
Good day people. Please, I want to know if it really matter. I got my study visa today through DHL. I discovered that my first/given name was interchange for my middle name. But my surname/family name is in order. Does it matter? This means that there is variance(in arrangements) between the first/given name in my international passport, but the surname is in order. |
2fine2fast:Good day. Please, how can I get in touch with you. |
hunee:I have been seeing this message anytime I logon to the online tracking platform. It's over three months now, yet no feedback. |
FINAH1000:Noted. I submitted my application for a study visa on the same date as yours, at the VFS global Lekki. I am yet to get a feedback. I checked the online tracking yesterday, it's still displaying " your application is received and under assessment at the South Africa High Commission in Lagos State Nigeria" |
FINAH1000:Please, what category of visa did you apply for? |
BlueStripper:That's serious. Have you tried using your phone, since you said you used a laptop. I did mine on my phone, including the payment through my debit card. |
BlueStripper:It could be network issues. I experienced similar issues when I did mine then. I was advised not to use Google Chrome. I ended up using Opera Mini browser. This was in July this year anyways. Perhaps you should try Firefox browser or Opera Mini browser. |
NLC and TUC should please let me get my salary before they ground everywhere. Hunger is Bad. |
More reasons why I have been hoping and anticipating my study visa to be approved, so that I can ' elope' for my PhD Programme in a foreign land. It's more of a scholarship. God, nah beg, I dey beg. |
anastmary:Why not check the 'South Africa General Enquiries Thread' on this platform. Experst and Gurus "BOKU" for that thread. |
crusader6:You can try https//visa.vfsglobal.com/Nga/en/zaf/track- application NOTE: I have been using this link for physical application tracking. I don't know if it works for e - application |
aodujoko:Hope we get replies very soon. |
Africankel:Thank you for the reply. |
Good evening everyone. Is there anyone that submit his or her Visa application, at VFS global office in Lagos State, in the month of July 2023? Has anyone heard from them? |
crusader6:This is their help line. 08150188800 |
xdastardx:Noted |
destinedtee:Does it implies that having a delay in reply from them guarantee Visa Application approval? |
Therxymora:General/ Government Hospitals are preferable. I did mine at Ikeja General Hospital. |
