Education / Re: Best Answer Wins My Cash Price. by emmanuelsea(m): 5:20pm On Aug 07, 2019 |
davimus: Now! If I am currently the President of Nigeria, I would solve the problem of insurgency in Nigeria pro-actively by doing the following: 1. I and my team will embark on quality research about the causes of insurgency; analyse various ways of solving it and implement the best: Like the saying goes, "if you want anything done well, do it yourself". I don't need setting up committee for this because my cabinet will consist of technocrats. Thus we will brainstorm and critically understand the nature, causes and solutions of insurgency in Nigeria. Most of the problems of insurgency are directly related to every ministry in government. Therefore, all hands (including all citizens) must be on deck to solve this problem so Nigerians can sleep with two eyes closed and everyone can go about with daily activities without fear. The citizenry (who are mostly affected) will be encouraged to also make recommendations. 2. I will declare a state of emergency on the defense ministry: All leaders (public servants and political leaders) and armed forces will be subjected to to security and medical check in order to weed out intimate enemies (who are informants and spies to terrorist), unqualified soldiers and workers (who are unfit and do not possess the required qualifications), ghost workers, ghost soldiers and mentally disabled soldiers. Also, a general toll free number like American "911" will be available and functional for the whole federation to report emergency and gather intelligence with a guarantee of anonymity to encouraged eye witness report and ensure prompt response on the part of all security and emergency agencies. Performing agents/teams and agencies will be rewarded and vice-versa. Strategic locations, streets, borders, public places and landmarks must be secured with CCTV cameras; any suspect caught must be prosecuted. Note: All emergency and security agents must be equipped with up-to-date necessary sophisticated weapons, technology, skills and knowledge. All security agents and workers must work in unison and perform their duty diligently without fear or favour. Defaulters will be punished adequately. 3. An executive order against illegal migration to Nigeria and porous borders will be made: Any foreigner without the required legal documents will not only be repatriated but also given severe punishment (near capital punishment) which will serve as deterrence to others. All borders must be well secured to prevent illegal importation of contraband goods such as fire arms, weapons of mass destruction, etc, hence all defaulters must face the wrath of the law including recalcitrant security agents. 4. The educational sector will be revamped: this will be done to enable both rich and poor have access to quality primary, secondary and tertiary education. The state in this regard will be socially responsible for education of the populace; any ward roaming during school hours will be investigated and become government's property who will be trained and developed to contribute positively to the country in return. 5. Solving unemployment and poverty: the unemployed and people living in abject poverty are very vulnerable and are easy target for insurgent's recruits. Bright and patriotic graduates from our higher institutions and NYSC every year will be sent for training home and abroad, and mandated to utilise same for national development. Other graduates including indigents with interest in entrepreneurship will be provided with training hubs facilities and facilitators across the federation and given access to soft loans with low interest rate which should also be available to SMEs. Policies will also be made to encourage commercial banks, private individuals and private corporations align to this vision. Other important things that I will do to solve the problems of insurgents are: a) Reduce cost of governance so as to save funds which will be used to implement plans and policies b) More security operatives will be deployed to vulnerable areas like sambisa forest and will be developed for tourist attraction after unrest to prevent reoccurrence. c) Nigeria's foreign policy will be patterned into a win-win situation so that neighboring states and super powers will assist where necessary. d) Every community must be involved, including traditional rulers, chiefs, youth leaders and local vigilante. e) Amend the constitution so as to function effectively, efficiently and ensure easy and timely administration of justice. cc: fishmillan |

LET US PRAY FATHER in heaven, we glorify you for all you have done for us; thank you for NNPC and for putting it in the minds of the leadership of NNPC and its governing council to select from amongst us in this recruitment process. It pleased you o God, for us to be among those interviewed shortly after NNPC's Computer Based Test in spite of the numerous candidates competing for limited available roles. From far and near we traveled and successfully found our way to and fro NNPC Tower, Abuja. Even as we await our appointment letters any moment from now, I ask that you enable us to accept our fate with good faith, trusting that you have better plans for us irrespective of the outcome. LORD, May we not be overjoyful that we forget that our appointment letter is a call to serve humanity, not for personal aggrandisement, nor may we be sorrowful that we forget that there is still hope! Help us individually and collectively to contribute our quota towards the development of Nigeria whether in NNPC or wherever we find ourselves. Let every negative and sharp practices (capable of hindering our progress) be far from us. Help those who have acknowledged their corrupt nature and willing to turn over a new leaf experience your salvation and sanctification. Thank you Lord for our prayers are answered in Jesus name we pray. 114 Likes 10 Shares |

if only law enforcement agencies are doing their jobs the way they ought to, Nigeria will be a better place. Corruption has eaten deep into Nigeria to the extent that the corruption fighter: our president can do nothing about it because it has been institutionalised in Nigeria. |
