We were still enjoying the softness and warmth of each other's lips when a yeye soldier decided to blow the bigle for night out, mehn you need to see the huge sigh on people's lips, corpers were angry. Then from one dark corner a guy shouted we just have a day left to go in camp why can't they allow us to enjoy ourselves for once!
Then from no where another guy shouted we no dey go anywhere, mehn you see in this life ehn ppl have things they always wanted to say about things but they just needed someone to say it first and then they would back up the person. That was how the crazy evening started ooo see corpers continued doing what they were doing in different corners ignoring the bigle, in my mind I knew something was about to go wrong that night but I didn't care, I was ready.
Then the bigle was blown again for the 5th time nobody even bulged, then we saw like 6 soldiers coming towards our direction and Lara quickly held me and said mitch let's go I looked at her with rage in my eyes and said bby chill, we will give this soldiers a hard time tonight even if it's the last thing we do....

So when they started to perform it was all going well for a few minutes and then, the first 6 people in front made an obvious mistake and it ruined their performance, it was so bad that they couldn't recover from it through out their performance. So immediately I turned to William and said don't mess with the pros lol. He's face was like mushed potatoes. So the competition went on and the verious platoon performed well but in the end it was platoon 8 that came first, while my platoon came second, all in all it was good to watch.

Then after the results were called we all matched down to the Mami to celebrate our victory, we were at our favorite Guinness bar, and it was full to the brim, music playing, corpers dancing and having fun like there is no tomorrow. We were at our table and we were all having a great time with each other, laughing and teasing each other, but at the back of our minds we knew camp is less than 48 hours till shut down, so we made a promise from now on to make every minute count. So from dat moment we were up for anything I mean anything, we started drinking and munching on huge chunks of peppered chicken suya just to help beat down the alcohol level abit, Lara is not a huge drinker so she was just on her smirnoff level but this time it was the dark smirnoff, the alcohol level was just a bit uppernotch. But she was still very in control of what's going on around her, so mainly the drinking was for me and the guyz, so it got to a point where i said no more beer, normally am a vodka guy same as kizzo and William, so we ordered for a smirnoff vodka damn dat was where we knew we were drinking.

One of the things I like about the Mami which i will definitely miss is the atmosphere when it's getting dark, you know right from 3am when those annoying soldiers come to wake us up, down to the parade ground, down to the 5 hours annoying lectures, you feel like a slave, like you don't own yourself or the decision you make. But once it's 7 o'clock you feel this internal joy rushing through your vain cause you know you are free.... At least till 10pm. So we try as much as possible to make sure we make dat 3hours worth it. So were just talking about how life was going to be after this 3 weeks camping, where we all wished to be posted and all that, deep down I really wished that me, Lara and the guyz would get posted to the same place, but I knew that the chances were odd. But still I never let it kill my mood so I stood up and pulled Lara up and we started dancing, she understood wat I needed at that moment and she was there for me, we danced nd danced till dat yeye Boi kizzo pulled me out and started dancing with Lara, I sat down and watched nd it was fun. After some time it was getting late and we had to leave the Mami before they blow the bigle, so as usual we all walked out of the Mami I told the guyz I was going to meet up with them in the hostel. I took Lara to our favorite spot under the huge tree and when we got there, we saw so many people who were also there, couples all loved up under the same tree.
I took her to a spot where there wasn't much ppl nd we both sat down, and started talking about how crazy the night was, hw we drank the whole bottle of vodka and didn't get drunk. We talked about how amazing it has been so far and I told her how grateful I was to have walked up to her the first time I laid my eyes on her, she smiled and was also sad at the same time, there was this awkward silence for about a minute we both knew the chances of getting posted to the same place was little but I calm her down and told her that, once we are in this delta state no matter how big, long or wide it is that we must always make time to see each other. Hearing this words from me she was consoled and she believed in me and that's all I needed. Than while talking we were just hearing lips clutching, tongue sucking nd strong body movements going on very close to us, you need to see this guy and girl, they didn't care about us being there, they were just busy doing things that made me and Lara also felt like doing things too lol. We just laughed it out a bit and suddenly started looking at each other, no words were said to each other, we were just looking deeply into each other eyes, her ever glowing beautiful eyes. My mind was once again racing, blood pumping through my heart like I was about having a cardiac arrest, my plams sweating I knew I had to kiss her with all the love I could muster. Right there I had to be the man, so I held her jaw line up i little our eyes still glued to each other and I kissed her like I will never kiss again, she kissed me back and her lips were so soft and sweet, it was like nothing have ever felt before. I couldn't get enough of it, she broke the kiss and smiled then I held her tightly and gave her a round 2 this time we were both lost I swear if dey pick pocket me at that moment I won't even know cuz i was gone...
