Gaining Root on your galaxy S5 (all Variants)

ROOT Galaxy S5 and Other Devices

Rooting Galaxy S5 or any other supported Android device with Towelroot is very easy. All you need to do is to install an APK on your phone and tap a button inside the app. The best part is, Towelroot does not trip KNOX on Samsung devices. Even after rooting your phone, the KNOX WARRANTY VOID will show 0 x 0.

Download the latest Towelroot app from http://towelroot.com

Copy the APK to your device Go to Settings and check Unknown Sources option under Settings> Security. You can also enable this option while install TowelRoot.

Now navigate to tr.apk and install it.
Now launch Towelroot app and tap make it ra1n button to root your phone.root-galaxy-s5

You phone should reboot automatically. When it boots up, download the latest SuperSU zip from Chainfire’s website.

gioneerp2: You do not unzip on Android. The zip archive works as an update you can flash. Boot into recovery mode by long pressing power button+ volume down. Select install update from zip. Choose the zip file, and the phone will do the rest.

dguy in dcorner: opsson ivo 6622 has d best battery I av ever handled though I'm one of those that complained bout it not lasting enough but it had probably proved me wrong I.e. I now beg her (d battery) to low.

just make sure u charge am wella wen u charge for d first 3times (like 8-12hrs) according to d manufacturer's instructions.

the heavier you use it the stronger it becomes...I'm ready for any contradictory opinion to this!

irrespective of any battery saver but I still recommend saver DAT comes wife it but d pro version den u can tweak whatever u want so far your fone is rooted.

I only charge it once a day with full handling but d lowest percentage I ve experienced is 3% I don't bother bout light anymore.

To me dis fone is an high-end not a middle or low end.

I hope it lasts!
